Did you also test doing the easiest dailies on multiple characters? Combining the easy dailies from BH/SX/Oricon on multiple characters can go really fast, quick travel to daily zones helped alot with that. Just run them in a circle and the rush goes really fast, BH doesn't take me 10 minutes to finish. Keep in mind i don't do the Heroics, only the easy quests, in SX i sometimes even skip the 2 underground quests, i only run all quests once a week for the weekly quest. But if you only do those fast quests where you click a node and kill some trash, i reckon you can get pretty close to one mil if you run it on multiple characters. I can understand with the test you did you came to 5 hours, since most of those quests you mentioned take way too long to rush through, Czerka is **** because there's always too much people for the amount of adds around n such, Makeb is too much running, same for belsavis. EDIT: ok i stand corrected, it'll be closer to 500k in an hour. I just rushed BH/SX/Oricon with my scoundrel healer, wearing the basic comm set (no augments) and Risha with the 186 weap/offhand and 178 gear from rishi story. took me about 40 minutes, with the rewards and vendor trash i ended up at 380k. depending on the character you do dailies with it could be a bit faster so you have time for some extra dailies. I'll try on my main later, he's augmented and so is companion, i should be a bit faster on that one, so i'll see what i can reach within the hour when rushing through.

So back on topic, with all this hatred in this thread OP, what server do you play on, and what country do you live in? as someone said maybe you are confusing latency lag with framerate lag I don't know how old your pc is but seeing your opening statement you probably have a nice and new rig, as you don't want to go into details. My config is the following: AMD Phenom II 955 - 16GB DDR3 (1600) - Radeon HD7950 - Samsung SSD basicly my PC is about 5 years old (added a bit of ram last year and had to change GPU, had an 5850 before) Been playing SWTOR since beta, and the only time i had lag was during the beta (beta weekends had lotsof people ) and the 2 first days of early release, and this was latency lag, nothing to do with framerate. I play SWTOR on max settings and have no choppyness at all, on a 5 year old pc.. Wow on the contrary, has massive fps loss, if i don't use a custom GUI with almost everything turned off i can't even get to 50 fps. ( don't understand me wrong, i love wow too, but that 10 year old game has got more fps issues then swtor in my experience). Someone posted some links to battle net forum, there's issues there too, so saying wow runs great i'm gonna take with a grain of salt.. if you do get decent fps when reinstalling, as you say, maybe the problem lies elsewhere? malware on your pc, problem with your hd, don't know, just guessing.. do you have an SSD? when i switched to SSD it changed alot for me. you could also try the thingie posted on the forums here, swtor unleashed, that seemed to do wonders for alot of people, maybe it will for you too.

Not sure if serious, but i'll bite.. First of all, you are talking about flashpoints, not ops as mentioned in your title and message. As mentioned in some other posts, it's not per se the gear of the DPS, but the lack of using your skills besides the DPS, use of CC and interrupts are key to success. The drops are RNG, for you it might be those percentages, for another player it can be the other way around, it's all random. Now i don't understand your reasoning behind the gear requirement, so you want people to join for flashpoints with a higher gear lvl as the gear you obtain in those flashpoints, or am i seeing this wrong.. You want fully lvl 60 augmented 186 gear or higher for flashpoints? serious or trolling? it's like asking nightmare geared people for SM Eternity Vault.

You can still do those greyed out quests, you just won't get xp for them, the advantage that you will have is that you still gain planetary comms that you can use to upgrade gear, where the 'powerlevelers' who run through story might have a little more difficulty upgrading their gear.

You upgraded the wrong things for an MMO, try upgrading cpu and harddrive to ssd, worked like a charm for me (the ssd). I don't know what rig you play on, but my computer is 6 years old (and even then wasn't the best machine) and i can play the game on max settings without any trouble, even 16 man raids. And about your complaining about content/raids, how long have you raided in SoO? *case closed*

In a way i can understand pre-forming groups, you get at least an idea of the player joining up front. Via group finder just queueing you might end up with a group full of 146 geared players (or even less now with the 12x xp), and believe me, even with bolster you don't want that. On Red Eclipse there's tons of groups forming like that, though most of them always have issues with getting tanks, seems on RE there is a bit of a tank shortage

A system like this exists in WoW too for example, i think it's even in the guild perks now (haven't played for a while). If i'm right there used to be a kind of tax system that was changed into a guild perk were a percentage of the gained credits was added to the guild bank (without lowering the reward of the player), let's say for example every 10 credits you gain, 1 credit is added to the guild bank. Not a bad idea of the OP.

I'm wondering, if you have a character on server X with decorations unlocked etc, when you transfer to server Y the achiements and stuff are copied, but do you also keep the decorations?

As long as people don't ask outrageous prices, i agree, i've been putting up greens and blues at slightly above vendor prices. But i've seen people ask 30k and more per lvl 22 armoring etc, kind of high imo. For those reading this while still leveling, buy green mods at the planets for 2k credits, don't give 20k or more on the GTN for the same mods.

Kick out all players from guild with a race that isn't 'originally' bound to your faction ;P If you are a republic guild and you have a pureblood in your guild --> there's your problem

I checked ingame yesterday and no setting was there, although i do remember a number of topics being posted at the time TFB came out about the issue, maybe it was a suggestion made back then, i don't remember, but i really thought they did add something ingame to make it easier for colorblind people. I'll have to scavenge through the dev tracker to find it, as i do know a 'yellow' answer was given in those topics.

I'm not sure, as i can't check ingame when writing this, but wan't there an option for those with a color deficiency already ingame? I know when TFB came out there were a couple topics about it, and i thought they added a specific option for that. Otherwide we'll have to necro some old posts to get the attention from the devs

Killing the Marauder/Sentinel first is something healers like, if i'm not mistaken that's the one you can't aggro as a tank and he keeps hopping around. (might be wrong about the aggro, i always heal )

Plus, if you do the storyline on rep side you even get a conversation with him after the 2 flashpoints if i remember right. Though I don't think the guy we see at the end of Rakata Prime is the real Revan, i have this feeling it's actually another Revanite that is wearing the mask we got for them on DK.

You can actually use a glitch for that boss, no need to kill anything, just start the encounter, run back and up the ship and jump on platform, go get a coffee, when you come back encounter is over.

We get confirmation that it's all about Revan...
