    4v4- 1 healer

Oh I had stealth. I even stealthed the whole team on the way over. The problem is they did, too, and just waited for me to come out of stealth. HOTS are already on, and yet I still get jumped IMMEDIATELY by their Op DPS and Sorc. If I stand there and take it I'm going to die (faster). What am I supposed to do if, even if I run by my team mates field of vision, they do nothing as I'm being chased around and lightninged? By then, I've gotten better PVP gear and learned what I could from that experience, but that only does so much as well when you've got a couple premades on the enemy team. Guard itself only negates, what, 30% of damage? It doesn't matter how good of a healer you are when you've got two or even three DPS focusing you.

    4v4- 1 healer

If in a 4v4, the one healer in the game gets focused immediately and dies, who's fault is it? The healer's, or the two tanks and a DPS that were too busy focusing one of four DPS on the enemy team? Nobody wants to be blamed for their teams loss, but Guard only does so much to reduce damage when you've got 2-3 DPS tailing you while the one Guarding you is Force Charging away into lala land, and you're busy just keeping yourself alive while your team does squat to interrupt the enemy's actions. Last I checked, a healer is not a tank and is not 100% responsible for keeping themselves alive in a team-based match. That goes for PvE as well, I'm pretty sure. Am I doing it wrong, or is it just people pointing fingers?
  3. The RP guild in which I am the co-leader just got to a little over 130 members. We just bought our Flagship and higher lvl players are asked to do dailies so we can get credits and stuff to help decorate it. Awesome, right? The problem is, I have no idea what I'm doing, to a point. I'm starting to feel a lot of pressure to remain organized and keep track of who's who and what's going on. I lead Agents and BH's as soldiers, while the leader of the guild is the typical Sith Lord and has that Dark Council thing going on. I have Officer's under me who train and recruit during my absence, which is 5 days a week during pretty much the whole day, but I still feel as though there's something I should be doing that I am not. I can schedule a meeting for all the soldiers and officers under me to get together and talk about stuff, but I don't know what there is to talk about. Is it more complex than I think? Or is it so simple that I am overthinking it? I don't honestly know what I'm asking here, but I am wondering if anyone can share similar experiences with a growing guild situation, if any.

    Midbie PvP

This is what I wanted to see. It's a plain and simple fact: 30's-50's get squashed. PvP is part of the game. If we are paying for the game then we have the right to complain about it. I was so looking forward to queing with my Marauder once I got to 30, but the expansion came and it just makes me sad. I can only play PvP on my main now, and I always see at least one or two 40-50's getting smashed to bits. The bolster is broken. The brackets are broken. A lvl 51 Sorc cannot ever 1 on 1 a lvl 59 Sorc. Weak links like that are often exploited. It sucks.
  5. It's taken a while, but I've accumulated a couple of rare items that I just don't know what to do with. I have Atris' Robes and Vrook Lamar's Tunic, which both look pretty fantastic and relatively one of a kind. My only problem is that both of these items are worth 500k+ credits last I looked. The prices raise/drop as people try to compete prices in GTN, of course. I've been told "if you like it, wear it." It makes sense, but then if I Bind it, I feel as though it might have been a lost opportunity. Same goes for if I sell it, though. What should I do? 0_0

    Midbie PvP

Well the only advantage I've seen of people who are in a match and are lvl 45 and under is that they get focused more. Being a healer, I find it easier to heal them because they have less health to gain back. Now it's only happened a couple times, though. I would NOT recommend PvP at all to anyone under level 50. Combine the lack of competitive prowess with the sudden burst of the Stun Wars, and you're guaranteed to have a few extremely annoying matches.
  7. You wouldn't be saying that if you knew the Operative healer's cleanse ability has a longer cooldown than it used to. The devs obviously decided that 0 cooldown on that cleanse was OP as heck, which it kind of was. But like I said, a healer can only do so much when they are being attacked and immobilized. Stating a healer should cleanse CC's on other players is obvious. But what about on yourself? You use them and then what? I personally have 2 cleanse abilities, one of which being a cheap knock off that only cleanses movement impairing effects on myself (if I'm not stunned). It has a 40 second cooldown, though. Don't be that guy that makes this a question of skill. Roots are not fine, because they were fine before the update. Now everyone has at least 2-3 that they can use almost every second.

    Midbie PvP

This is what I am talking about. What happened is the update came, and they didn't change anything other than widened the middle bracket. They were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, that they didn't stop to think if they should. Maybe any player worth their salt who is lvl 30-45 can do okay sometimes, but the numbers can't lie in such a broad aspect of level difference.
  9. I'm not complaining about the new system so much as I am about the fact that, as far as I know, those two faction classes are extremely similar. Like you said it's a basic utility, and only an idiot would pass up that Passive to use in the new system. But now everyone and their mother has it, and a healer can only do so much when he can't move. I had to respec recently and make it so Countermeasures (the one that reduces threat gen in PvE) removes any movement impairing effects. It does some good, but they changed the cooldown from nothing to a whole dang minute! I'm not holding my breath, but I hope the next couple of months hold some updates that will balance it all out.

    Midbie PvP

I don't know if anyone else has been thinking this, but I don't like the new default levels for the midbie PvP. Anyone level 30-59 can be q'd together. I don't know about you, but doesn't that seem a little ridiculous? I had just gotten my Marauder out of lowbie PvP to lvl 30 because I was getting tired of trying to pick up the slack from all the people who were fresh out of (or still in) Starterworldland. I qued, and I died in about 5 seconds because there were people 25-29 levels above me. There's no way anyone UNDER level 55 can compete now. They might as well just not que, because they ARE going to die a lot (which they do) and be of not much use other than to be a small distraction, A.K.A, bantha fodder. What were they thinking? "Oh there's a new level cap, so lets even out the numbers for mid level PvP." Well they evened it out because of the level cap, but now it's made midbie PvP kind of not as fun. And to top it all off, in my opinion, I feel as though they are basically forcing people who want to really enjoy PvP to buy the expansion so they can get to level 60. And that's just excluding the apparently great content that has been added. I plan on buying it eventually, but this just seems a little overboard. I must say it's a good play by EA/Bioware as a money grabber.
  11. Personally I don't know much about the complexities, nor have I ever played a Inquisitor. Although as a ranged healer I find it EXTREMELY frustrating that every Warrior/Knight class has Immobilize for the duration of their Ravage ability. Before, you could at least run behind a rock or a wall or something if it was nearby, and it would cancel the effect. Now, the only way to stop those melee classes from doing that massive damage to you is to have some sort of shield on you, or you stun them before the last blow. Granted, when I play as my Marauder, I love it. Otherwise, it just seems unfair. Heck, I have a cooldown on my Flashbang, thanks to the new system. I can use it every 1:30 minutes. I've noticed a lot of players during a PvP match are unable to use their CC breaks sometimes because they've already used them. There's too much CC now. It's as simple as that.
  12. Oh you mean how like every Sith Warrior and Jedi Knight class gets to Immobilize you for the duration of Ravage/whatever the Jedi's name for it is)? As if Charge wasn't enough to stun you for 2-3 seconds, now if you get Charged you can't even goddamn move. You WILL take massive damage unless you have some kind of Absorb ability on you or you manage to stun the other player in time. It's ridiculous.
  13. That's kind of what I've been thinking, as we only have a little under 40 members, some of whom being inactives. Thanks for saying what I didn't know I wanted to think about.
  14. I was told by the guild leader himself that he was Whispered by an unknown source (which already sounds fishy and/or impossible). I don't know much about it, but the other guild leaders have all talked and want to convene so it seems legit enough to me. I don't know what damage this mole could do without Guild Bank access. We are a PvE/RP guild, so it's not as if we have much to hide.
