  1. Well, to be honest it would make sense to have speeders and pets (non combat pets like taun tauns and rakghouls, droids whatever) added to the decoration list for all characters too, as the trophies for operations are also shared, while they were acquired on a specific character, i kinda see it as the same thing, if it's acquired, it's added as a decoration, if you have a certain speeder on multiple characters, then you'd get the option to place it x times. let's say i wanted to make tauntaun stables, i would have to switch between x characters to add the taun tauns, while in theory they could just add it to deco list so one character can place them all. it isn't a big deal as you said, but it would make it more practical.
  2. No you are right, it's not a big deal at all, just annoying sometimes You're on your one character again and think 'ah crap i forgot that one' finding yourself switching back again because brain didn't work properly
  3. The first thing I do is walk to the mailbox, use xp boost and use the titles in my mail --> free level
  4. Apparently this isn't the case for mounts and pets, which is a bummer to be honest. For the stronghold these are seen as decorations too, so why are we not able to access those from another character to place it in a stronghold. While decorating my NS stronghold i found myself switching between 2 characters to get this stuff place in the right spot.
  5. Use ultimate comms for gear items, rip mods out, send to alts with legacy gear to equip thqt chqrqvter qnd his companions. New character to raid with and do /faceroll dailies, i think running dailies on another character fast is better credit income then vendoring said gear.
  6. And those that actually click need to use in their stronghold get called 'ninja' i was in a KP group earlier this week, and the Hutt Flagg deco dropped a couple of times, i won a need roll twice (everyone was needing) and was accused of ninja'ing because apparently there is an unwritten rule that once you won a decoration you can't need on that decoration again within the same group. I was unaware of this, no looting rules were stated before the start or during the raid, only after i won that flag a second time some other players started namecalling. I apologized and said i would pass on everything else ( i already passed on everything else that dropped before to as i didn't need the gear that dropped there, i was just there for weekly and deco's) and i did pass on all the rest, even the pets that dropped, so i kept my word, but i didn't feel like i had to give one of those 2 flags to someone else. was i wrong there? because people still called me a ninja.
  7. Not sure if possible, but aren't the armorings from ultimate comms re-engeneerable? If so, are they still bound to a slot? i thought the armorings that we can craft are 'slotless' I'm unsure of what the highest craftable armoring is (been away a few months), but if those armorinmgs are re-engeneerable, doesn't that solve the problem as you can then craft them and use them in the HK custom gear?
  8. If healing is the main problem you can always try to have a 3rd person heal/dps, or if your dps is high enough just run with 3 healers. We noticed that on some fights having a 3rd healer makes it alot easier, granting your dps is up to the task. We mostly run with a sage and a scoundrel, and have a commando dps throz some heals in difficult situations. From what i hear from other guilds, every keeps going with the 2 healer setup, which i don't understand why. I play 2 mmo's, the other one is wow, and there are plenty of bosses where the setup changes during the raid, one fight we have 2 healers, other we have 3, etc. I haven't seen this happen in swtor, maybe because no one thought about it. But i can speak from my guild's experience that we got alot of progression just by swapping around a bit. We were stuck a long time at that first boss in fortress on HM, running 2 tanks, 2 heals and 4 dps, after giving the suggestion we downed that boss on first try.
  9. Have to agree with this, I've tried GS on the PTR and it's really fun, imo they did a good job, it may be pvp but it's definately more fun then the old space missions (although i actually liked those too). And concerning the rep for the old space missions, as someone already mentioned, do those daily ones for the rep
  10. To be honest, i don't have any issues with AMD, never have, running AMD Phenom II 955 - 16g ram and a Radeon HD7950 I don't want to create a discussion AMD vs Intel, but imo, if price is an issue, AMD can suit your needs perfectly
  11. I don't know if the changd it yet, but if you form a full grp, and the leader sets difficulty to HM, you used to be able to go in a HM op via GF, but as i said, don't know if it was changed by now, before the summer we were still able to do that with the guild, we found it out rather stupid though.. we formed a grp and wanted to do the weekly fast but had set still on HM, we kinda found it out when engaging the boss and having some extra mechanics that weren't supposed to be there (yellow circles spawning after cleansing on first boss TFB)
  12. maybe something about the new operation? at the end of S&V you are told you'd battle the dread Masters 'soon'
  13. It surprises me that after leveling to 50 there are still players (according to OP the majority) that can't interrupt a skill and move from damage dealing enviroments. and that covers the droid boss. The ugly one on the platform? after dying once you would have noticed that there are consoloes that light up blue when he jumps up teh pipes.. even by not knowing the tactics, aren't you slightly curious what happens if you click it? or where you referring to the knockback? where the tank will probably survive as he is standing on the boss and the rest was thrown off? first time i was in there i actually made a simple connection, and stood on him after dying once if you are still confused, Youtube is flooded with tactics videos for all encounters in swtor, every half decent guild has a foolproof video on there. imo, consult your best friend google once in a while, the time you took to write this post on the forum you could have already gained the knowledge on how to beat the bosses.
  14. http://dulfy.net/2013/02/21/swtor-legacy-achievements-guide/ Kill assassin droids 25 times in False Emperor and Foundry
  15. I don't know if this has been posted already, didn't read all replies yet, but you can actually queue for any mode with the group finder, we did it with our guild for 8 man HM TFB. we found out by accident though. Having a full group of 8 in ops, we tend to queue in gf for the comms, but i still had 8 man HM set in the phase option. when we queued we got in and it was hardmode, via group finder, with the option to travel now.
  16. You might want to post this on the 'server forums' under your server section, posting in general with no mention of which server you are on isn't the way, though semi-funny post
  17. well, since we are talkig about guilds, i would like to see a guild calender where you are able to post and sign up for raids or other events, so we don't have need anymore for external websites to do this. also maybe something like summon stones in wow, but in the form a guild-quick-travel, usable once in 24hours or something.
  18. since according to alot of the people on the forum it only takes a day or 2 to lvl a character up, instead of paying 792cc you can just level up a new one. Anyways, the face paints aren't that bad, after messing around a bit and going through some randoms, i created a new character with the Cathar species, and I'm actually liking it.
  19. You can get Campaign gear with those classic comms, that will help you get through the makeb content, and are even a good start to go into HM fp's at lvl 55, kitting out companions in campaign gear isn't a bad idea either.
  20. isn't that one of the emotes where you stick your tongue out? I believe it's the 'Goofy' mood
  21. were you one of those playing it every day on PTS? if not then don't take offense in this post, it's not towards you and i didn't say it's acceptable, i was just making a comparison between 2 games what seems to be a trend nowadays in the guild i'm in we raid 3 nights a week (3 hours), we go in without looking at tactics and figuring it out ourselves, which is alot of fun, because it takes a little bit longer, and you get surprised by stuff. we only do a raid 1 night a week (eh tfb tuesday, s&v thursday, some random stuff sunday) and it makes the content last a bit longer, and keeps it fun. It's all about how you want to raid, and i can imagine after 'playing it to death' (where i mean spending days to figure out every detail until you're tired of it) on the PTS, you can clear it fast on live and being tired of it the first week. but as i said, i don't know 'your' playstyle, and the 'you' was in general, with no offense meant, just something that i noticed about the people that are complaining. and ok, they may have been working on ec since before launch, that makes it about a year, blizzard has been working on mop for 3 years+ , taht's my point, you can't compare a game that has been around for about 10 years with one that's only here for a year. I'm not saying it's justified. on a side note, i'm far from a biodrone, but also far from hater too, because i love this game as it is, i for one haven't completed every little detail in game. it's funny you mention testing on the pts, (and don't take offense here, it's a serious question) how many bugreports and problems did you report while testing? because many people i talked to on our server and pts just played it as an exclusive to prepare for live and didn't bother filing problems and bugs. (and yes i know that there will probably be people who did report bugs, else it would have been far worse)
  22. Oh, and OP, your signature violates copyright, 'Soon' is trademarked to Blizzard!
  23. to all comparing with wow and their raid bosses in MoP, don't forget they were working on MoP since wrath of the lich king, they had plenty of time to come up with all this. and having cleared s&v that fast, it's your own fault imo, the ones that i see have all cleared and on farm were those that played it to death on the test server. first there's complaining there's no test server, then there's complaining about burning through too fast. as someone else mentioned, they probably have another raid planned with the dread masters, and some fp's, and i saw something somewhere in an interview about a new pvp map. patience is a virtue. and if you come back with wow again, how long did we have to kill the lich king over and over? same for deathwing.. grab a cookie and do some achievements if you are that hardcore, i'm sure you haven't finished it all
  24. You're probably just unlucky with the drops, our shadow tank got geared in one night of flashpoint guildruns, we even had a flashpoint wher there were only shadow tank drops...
  25. 61 and 63 mods aren't that obsolete as some people make them sound, TFB SM and S&V SM can be done in campaign gear, and you can easily run the new 55 hardmode flashpoints in campaign gear which give you upgrades towards the operations.
