Ok, so where are the soft caps at?

I remembered that one as rather tough from my main. Done it again just yesterday on my alt and it was no trouble at all. 26 tank and a 27 healer, with healer and dps pets. Didnt bother to use CC and we only wiped once when a respawned group added for no good reason from upstairs and a roamer on top of it. The area is a bit crowded, not much room to move or you pull a bunch of adds. But to me that Heroic looks just OK as it is.

The other stats... right now my priorities are these: HP is what others judge you by mostly, which can be a reason all by itself to go for high END and not want to have people give you a hard time when trying to join groups or OP or a new guild. Tank>>> 1. END 2. Prim Stat 3. Defense (because it helps on every hit) 4. Shield 5. Absorption (because Absorption only helps when your Shield procced which is based on your Shield rating, meaning a high Absorption with a low Shield Rating is next to useless) x. Accuracy - I find useless, dev stated its only good in PVP vs tanks. Expect a change on how accuracy works though in the future. (maybe in 1.2 already?) DPS>>> 1. END (dead dps equals zero dps) 2. Prim Stat 3. Power (because it helps with every attack) 4. Crit (maybe put it before Power if you have a spec with a lot of bonus effects that only proc if you crit) 5. Alacrity (only useful if you have key abilities that got long cast or channel times, those abilties dps gain a lot from that. But if the faster use of these abilities deplete your energy/heat/ammo or whatever too fast for you, then alacrity may even backfire dps-wise) 6. Surge (same as Absortion, only helps you if you crit... try do the math: Say your Power gives you a 1% dps boost, then how many points you need in surge to get your overall dps the with your current crit rate to be the same? My guess is that, unless you have a really high crit, Power pretty much always wins. Also keep in mind that surge is based on your "powered" base damage, meaning that Power does effect your Surge dmg too through the backdoor) x. Accuracy - still useless (I dont play a Healer atm, though I would think its same as dps) As equipment works now, I can focus on 2 secondary stats on a char, which means atm to me: power&crit for dps and def&shield for tanks. This is open for discussion, I'd love to learn more myself!

BT HM is easiest because everyone knows it. It does have 2 of the more difficult HM bosses though. You need really good dps to beat the bonus boss before enrage timer and the padawan AE is an instant kill for anyone lagging even slightly. BTW, I hate enrage timers.. they are nothing but a stupid dps test and a really cheap game mechanic that shows zero creativity on the dev side. Besides what do teh devs care if a group takes 5mins to kill a boss or 3 hours? (while winning after a 3 hour struggle would be a fight to be remembered, while that 5 min kill is just another rushed loot grind)

You need to make "fusion missle" to be inline with its name.... 20km range and instant kill to everyone... then heat wont matter either. Seriously, L2P If you want wishful thinking class skillz, prog ur own game.

The bug we had last night on SOA 8man normal: some of the platforms were missing, thus we could not get down to the floor for the next phase. Happend like 4 times in a row, always different platforms.

L2P dps Sorc heals got a rather long casting time, so if a dps Sorc chain heals himself he also roots himself and zeros his dps. And you cant interrupt and out-dps his puny heals? dps Sorc shield got a long recast time, besides pretty much all classes having some deff shield.

L2P There is a load of targeting option, one of them is "target center" Hotkey that one and your #2 and #4 are fixed.

@ OP your ideas are good, of course. Though that stuff takes a lot of time and effort on the dev side for such a minor cosmetic improvement, which obviously is on a low priority. While shutting the bot up is quick and easy to implement. Also, restraining bolts and memory wipes for droids are also a core lore piece of SW.

There should be toggle to make companions click-thru outside of rest zones. I and many others complained about this during early release already... still waiting for a fix.

better: move respawn points INSIDE any FP/OP instance! Maybe add a timer before one can move out from there again, to compensate. But right now it is just silly to force a load screen twice on everyone after death and its a big disadvantage for those of us with loooong loading times. (see threads of people complaining about insanely long loading times)

Only 10% per speeder tier is a bad joke, especially for that kind of credits. BW, make it 50% upgrade for each tier plz.

Of course abandoning chars sux, but lvl20ish isnt that high yet. Just check out a couple of different servers and see how u like the communities there. On Frostclaw I got no problems on any of my lowby alts to find groups. Esseles and Black Talon groups usually dont take long to find, either. Seems I got lucky and ended up on an Altoholic sever, maybe. 8)

"Dailies" usually refer to lvl50 repeatable missions, solo and heroics plus 1 space mission, that grant you "daily commendation" There are "Dailies" on Belsavis and Illum and coming in patch 1.2 on Corellia, too. "Dailies" can also be good for Affection farming. One of the solo dailies on Belsavis gives 353 affection to the Sith Inq healer pet. "Daily commendations" can be turnt in for lvl50 gear: 126 rating armor mods and barrel/hilts and for implants and earpieces.

Bump plz. I got same issue. I like Xalek but he is squishy and seems (feels) to be no better than Ashara when it comes to taking dmg. As soon as my dmg shield buff on him drops his hp goes down fast, especially vs Jedi and Sith. (lots of them on Corellia) At first I thought that maybe the tank shield wont work vs lightsabers but then I noticed that his stats arent affected by any absorption rate and shield rate gear. BW please fix him!

This just leaves one question... how do you know that it is 130% threat to make the mob switch targets?

I hope this is already a well known bug and that it will be fixed soon. To me personally this happend twice now. Black Talon (Hardmode) --> I died on the last fight vs. the Padawan, but last man standing of our group killed her. Upon death of the boss the FP reward wndow popped up. Rez was not possible. So I released and could not re-enter the FP. The loot was lost to me. False Emperor --> Groupmember died during the fight vs. Malgus. Rest of us killed Malgus. I could not rez the fallen groupmember. (got "out of range" msg in return) So our friend released and was locked out of the FP and thus didnt get loot. This is total BS. Here are three very easy fixes: - Let a FP mission not auto-finish on last boss death, but by other means. - Allow access to a FP for another 5 mins after it got finished. - give boss loot to dead players too, including commendations and crystals and such. Edit: possible workaround is to release asap and zone back into the FP before the boss dies, though 1. long loading times may still screw you over, 2. you dont know beforehand if the rez will work or not , 3. if you are used to OP boss fights you wont release before full wipe, 4. if the run back is too long you may still loose loot because of distance.

If you decide to build your own box, here are some hints... - I like ASUS mainboards, in the past those also came with a good manual that allows you to build the whole system - do only buy RAM that got a manufacturer check for that very mainboard you choosed - do not safe on the power supply. Also think about all the fans in your box and which way they bow. eg do not buy a power supply that sucks the air in since the most dust is usually behind your box and dust is the number 1 longtime killer of every power supply, gpu and cpu - while you can order pretty much everything online for cheap, I always regretted buying the chasis online... to me thats the one thing I have to touch and inspect with my hands before buying it (an online picture wont tell you how cheap it is manufactured, if you can cut urself on the edges, where the fans go, if there is a dust filter and so on) the rest is research on the price lists what you can actually get for your money. I always double check prices with amazon, if it is at least not more expensive than it is not a total ripp off. edit: i never got happy with any samsung product and i personally always had a lot less problems with Intel cpu and nvidia gpu.
