I LOVED the event and did farm it daily with 3 chars! And I am looking forward to future events! But, as with everything, there is room for improvement: - event and event duration could have been announced ahead of time. The "surprise" of "something" going on when logging in was less of a surprise but just plain confusing at first. (In other MMORPG (like EQ) I usually avoided events, since they usually just meant a lot of lag, fighting over some special spawns and lots of deaths.) - there should have been a true quaranteen on Tattoine with infected people not being able to leave (e.g. by just disabling Fleet Pass and Ship Access or by some real hard mobs (not the 2 joke mobs that jumped once in the ship instance, when was infected and actually returning to Tattoine from Fleet) attacking Infected people in the space port and on the Fleet or at least an auto-decon on fleet would have been cool) Infected People on Fleet always huddled on fleet pass spawn point, which made teleporting to fleet a lag feast. - there could have been a last tier quest that kinda finished the whole loose virus story, eg having to disperse the vaccine to all those hydro farms on Tattoine and getting soem social item for it in addition to the social suit, like some kind of"vaccine social bagde". As it ended now the quest line kinda felt "unfinished" storywise, basically we just ran around finding rakghoul everywhere.

Everyone knew yesterday that the event ended today. You should have used or sold those samples before the patch. Now you can either destroy them or hope that there will be another Rakghoul event one day that uses the same samples again.

You start the daily quests in the dunesea, north of the Rep outpost. It is an AREA quest, thus triggers once you get there. All other Rakghoul quests you pick up along the way once you started the first quest. Every day a new quests unlocks for you, if you have done the newest one the day before. I am farming the Rakghoul dailies with 3 Alts, with my main being ahead one tier of quests (since I had my alt join the fun a day later) Each runaround takes me roughly 45min to one hour now, thanks to very fast respawn times on all related mobs and clickables. (a looot of people are doing the events quests) Newest reward was a moddable light belt for the social armor set. The quest that starts at the spaceport on the TV screen got nothing to do with the dailies but is only for the crimson rakling pet. rewards for the DNA samples -> green-black endgame crystals are BoE and thus tradeable companion mods are BoL the pale rakling pet is "unique" and I got no clue what that means but hope I can still trade it to alts

I love the event! Farming the dailies with 3 chars. (30-50mins each runaround atm) Spent my samples on pet mods, so far and only missing JK and Sage companion mods. Anyone know what "unique" on the pale rakling vanity pet exactly means? (There is no mention of BoE, BoL or BoP on teh tool-tip) Can I still sell it on GTN or mail it to alts? Is it unique for each char or for the account? BTW, I find the group hugging on Fleet Spawn point rather pathetic and annoying, too. (makes extreme long loading times and grafic lag when spaning in teh middle of several dozen players) I think, everyone who enters the Fleet should get the rakghoul vaccine buff automatically.

I got a crimson rak pet last night for my main and will get 2 more for alts tonight. Also I want to check out the infection set for companions. Besides that: I love the game, playing on Frostclaw, good community, always plenty of people online.

Dailies r lvl 50 daily farm quests for daily commendations that can be turned in for lvl50 gear. I did hit Belsavis with my chars (2 so far) in the late 40s, even being able to do some of the lvl50 stuff. (wanted to have hilts and barrels right when I hit the 50) - check for bonus quests (Alderaan bonus series is 40+) - do FPs whenever u can (also good for dark/light points, if you r not maxed at 50 you r restricted on the relics) - do a couple space missions, whenever u r on ur ship or when u sent ur pets crafting and waiting for them to return - always log out in rest zone for xp bonus (I always QT to cantina before logging)

So what? Just die! Death is meaningless in SWTOR, just rez where u r, 20 secs lost to rebuffing and healing up. Repair costs, if any, will be a couple credits for lowbie chars. Also: I LOVE my rak pet! The event will continue for a while, since: dailies give you 11 DNA each day and you need 83 DNA for a high end crystal. (assuming you dont buy DNA from others or farm it with alts)

Who said that a black lightsaber would have to "emit" light? Easiest way to create a black "light"saber would be to have the contaiment forcefield of the plasma "absorb" light or at least reflect very little. (just like your black shirt) Thus a black lightsaber is actually "simpler" than a colored one. To add a bit more nonsense physics to the magical glowstick... a black lightsaber would also be a lot hotter than a normal one, since the absorbed would be transformed into some othrr form of energy. (heat usually)

BOHOOOO... If I had known that lvl50 human gives a 100 presence boost (=phat hp and dps boost for all companions) Id never created cyborgs! But you know what, I am not whining about it. There is no reason to be allowed to change a chars species.

Dear OP, if you dont want to lvl a species to lvl50 to unlock it, then just spend the credits to buy the unlock. LVL50 IS FINE.

PVE people should come to Frostclaw, 150-250 people in fleet usually and we got room for more. 8)

Since of today, with 1.2 release, you can send mails (credits+items) cross faction to your Alts. (no more mailing restriction in a Legacy) Shared storage isnt in game yet, but I guess it will come eventually as a legacy feature.

I love FPs, but the LFG tool is needed badly.

We need a LFG tool badly... However, about Heroics while leveling. So far I could solo almost all H2 with any class I played. H4 I will do when people ask for group while I am in the area for it and have enough time left for it. When I have leveled up the first time I tried to do any Heroic at least once, but now that I am repeating the grind content I dont mind skipping the H4s. Or with otehr words, if you want to group for a H4, you need to be persistent and actively starting a group.

The OP is right, we shouldnt get only 4 bosses with 1.2 (for free) BW should release an expansion for 30 USD every 2nd month, adding at least 4 new OPs, 2 new planets and 1 new player class. /sarcasm off 1.2 is huge and got all kinds of new features, the new OP being just one of many. Maybe it would help to post a class quest question not as a OP/FP/HM thread... The fight sounds easy, so gear up, lvl up, try different companions. I only got a 36 SW Jugg tank but I already solo killed bosses with twice that hp. Tank spec with healer pet is just being close to immortal uber godness in this game.

Yes, the starter FPs gives most social points 10-15x of the others. Which I find a bit "unbalanced", too. Conversations in the starter FPs are surely "overpolished" compared to the other FPs, but level design is not. I find Esseles and Black Talon rather boring, actually all you do is have a long run through spaceship corridors. Later FP come with outdoor areas and way more complex boss fights. Most beautiful FP to me is "Battle of Ilum" when you run through the crystal caves.

Heroics are not meant to be soloed. If you find some, especially the H2 ones, that you can solo that's good, if not find other players to group with.

Back to the original question... the number you are refering to would be the item level of the mod (seen them up to 52 think), which is silly and confusing and should just be replaced with the tier number (1-23) Since you cant even see a mod item level number untill it is slotted I usually compare mods either by tier number or by rating.
