  1. Hey, I was wondering what you guys though to making a little change to the way fusion missile works in certain situations. How about, when the fusion missile hits only 1 target, half of it's heat cost is refunded. This way it will become part of the BH's standard single target rotation, giving us a DoT to maintain and reducing reliance on Tracer Missiles for DPS even further.

  5. Hello all, It feels that companions don't really have a place in the game at level 50. Well, not as much as they could do...(this post has nothing to do with proffs, that system works well imo). The way that you pick up new companions as you progress through the game really reminded me of playing a Final Fantasy-type game, all those years ago, except that (and this might just be because I've only maxed a BH so far) you only ever really use one of them. Each class will build up an entire team of companions, that you can gear up as you like, but you can only use one at a time. Seems like a waste. So then I started to think about how you could use more than one at once... How about if BW implemented a new game mode - "crew challenge" (or whatever they want to call it): You pick a team of 4 (your char + 3 other companions), who then go to an arena/gauntlet style event and battle baddies in a PvE environment. These challenges could vary from your standard tank 'n' spank to things completely different, requiring unique team setups. Now, obviously the biggest issue here is "How do you control 3 companions + your character at once" Well this is where is gets kinda cool. BW could implement a "tactics"" aspect to the game. When you pick your team for the challenge you directed to a "tactics" menu, from which you can assign your companions different roles, responsibilities and ability reactions in the fight (on taking damage from aoe, all group up on player's character, etc). As you complete challenges your companions could unlock new tactics, and even ultimate abilities - (think limit breaks in the FF series). Added onto this there could be a new stat, only for companions, called something like "strategy". As you complete challenges you will get new gear for your companions (and maybe yourself) which includes the stat "strategy". The idea with this stat is that it improves your companions AI reaction to situations and willingness to follow your assigned tactics. There is also the potential to build the current companion affection system into this, the more that a companion respects/likes your character, the more likely they are to follow your tactics. So yeah, what do you think? Obviously this isn't something that would redefine this game's end-game, however, I think it would offer something rewarding for people who aren't that interested in PvE/PvP.
