  1. Good luck never enjoying another MMO. No MMO is going to have the same magic as the first one you ever played, it's like that first hit of crack, you'll never get the same high.

There is nothing wrong with this game, it's a blast to play. I have a level 50 and an alt at 40 and I'm still having a great time. I really couldn't disagree more with the linked article.

For the love of god stop clogging up our forums with the BS and go onto the next game that won't satisfy you. What's the next one GW2? Please go.... Faster. There is enough of us here that enjoy the game and are going to give it more than two months.

You WILL NEVER BE HAPPY, I can personally assure you. GL

  2. As someone with a 400 bio and a 400 armormech, I kind of have to agree with the OP. The reusable stims/adr/medpacks are literally like having extra abilities on your hotbar. You still get to make sick implants that take up two slots.

I made my alt a bio to supply my main with supplies. You would be able to make yourself stims and medpacks still, and they would sell because 75% of the population wouldn't be biotechs. I can tell you from my guild alone, the vast majority of us have either bio as our main or bio on an alt.

Many people in my guild dropped other crew skills just to make bio's. It's really just dumb and is still OP at end game. The only thing I could really get behind is reusable adrenals AND they should be tradeable. Too many mats for a 15 second buff, and they are cost prohibitive. Anyone without bio is generally not using these I would wager.

Armormech is fine as it is imo, it doesn't need a buff. It also falls in line with most other crew skills at this point that are also useful. I still use purple crafted implants, purple crafted ear slot that are better than a lot of the stuff I've seen drop or even columi stuff.

Yes I do have my crafted rakata bracers and belt, but it's not giving me that much statistically over the columi (since it's the weakest slots), and it can still be obtained through other means.

I'm sorry that having someone call out the truth about how OP a crew skill is hurts people feelings, but it makes more sense to nerf one profession than to make all the other equally OP.

I don't think we can get augment slots on the oranges yet, that will be next patch. I'm not sure how I feel about it and I'm mainly an armor crafter. I guess it will be good for me, but I'm afraid it will be too much.

  4. Try logging out quick and logging back in. I've been doing this lately and it gives you a new line up of missions most of the time. I use this a lot for UWT, since you get all companion gifts 75% of the time.
  5. Armormech is just fine in it's current state. You need to reengineer. Leveling I had better stuff than orange with good mods. I kept some orange gear and filled in the rest with crafted purples. Plus you can make gear for your conpanions.

I sell 49 and 50 gear blue and purple non-stop. I have yet to not sell something I put on the GTN.

So I can make money, make gear for alts/companions, Make some really nice tradeable purples with recipes I got off of raid mobs that are columi in quality. I'm so glad I didn't drop the skill for fotm biochem (although my alt is a biochem). Oh, and I get to make myself rakata bracers and belt with a chance of an augment slot.

Just not seeing a problem here. I just wish we could make repair kits, that would make me really happy.

  6. Based on the 3 MMO's I've played, two with penalties, one without, seems there was a lot less quitting in the other two game. A LOT less.

To the person trying to defend the fact that they quit out of games, give it up, you a loser. I wouldn't want you to "overwork" yourself playing a video game.

It's hard to suck down cheetos and mountain dew when you are rolling your face on the keyboard trying to carry scrubs, amirite? If you have someone to carry you, you can stand in the corner and get your rewards.

  7. You're right.

You can make loads of credits by crafting and selling on the market with pretty much all crafting professions, and yeah - you can use it for outfitting your alts or main (untill 50) just fine. At 50 you can buy mods that surpass what can be created (before you get recipes from operations), but you can keep crafting "low level" stuff and make a fortune. Level 50 stuff doesn't sell as well as leveling stuff as far as I have noticed, but I guess that's what most people complain about; "OMGOMG I am 400/400 but my epixx belt doesn't sell!"

On my server I can't keep my level 49 crafted blue and purple armor on the shelves. It's actually blowing my mind how much and how fast it's selling.

There is a huge market since everyone ditched their crew skills and went bio. I can't find half the stuff I'm looking to buy on my alt. I would pay bank for some of it, and I do for the pieces I do fine.

  8. I admited no such thing, its your nerdrage making you see things. All i said is that i dont want to carry my team, why would i overwork myself for weak scrubs whom i dont care about in the slightest?

So i am sorry, but good players will still keep on leaving you and rest of your team to be rolled over.

Btw do check your blood pressure, dont want you to explode.

My blood pressure is cool, but I appreciate the concern. I'm pretty sure that that you are the one raging because you keep calling yourself a scrub.

Blah blah, I'm a l337 Battlemaster, Blah Blah I'm not gonna carry scrubs (I need people to carry me), Blah blah as long as I get credit for my daily I'll quit as much as I need to.

Overwork yourself ROFL??!!?? You do realize that this is a video game right? Do you need a gatorade after you try to help some scrubs win a game in SWTOR on your comp? Now I know you don't have a real job... LOL

  9. Reading comprehension fails hard on you.I dont leave if teams helps me,i leave if i am running with ball alone while scrubs farming medals.

Yep,i have lots of free time,in fact i can stop working tommorow and leave the rest of life on what i already earned.

Also,i find that ppl who nerdrage about computer games are real failers in life. They suck in RL

so they rage hard when they dont get their way in games as well.

You mean like people who quit when they don't get their way in a WF?

By your own admission, you already said you were a scrub. You more or less said that you aren't good enough to help carry a team and that you need to quit until someone can carry you. It's OK bro, we understand.

  10. Its really simple:I am in no way obligated to help your weak butt get gear, from my viewpoint it is you who obligated to get some gear before joining same wz as i do.If you fail at that i will leave and let you take it like a man:P.

I dont want to pwn noobs, its not fun at all, sure i can gib 2 scrubs at the same time at the turret and cap it,but if rest of the team suck it wont be enough to win the game. You will get comms and valor,i wont get squat out of loss.So why should i stay.

I really care wether you miss me or not,all i care is my daily.

Or more likely that you're complete garbage. If you team keeps losing and you have to keep quitting there is only one thing consistently the same in each game, the fact that your in it scrub.

I'm in a mix of champion and columi gear and I'm not having any issues in WF helping my team out.

Quit more, that's probably why you're playing the game enough to get to BM and have no job and nothing left to do in the game. I find that the way people play games mirrors a lot of who they are in RL.

  11. The deserter penalty should be a change in appearance for one hour. Anyone who deserts should have their appearance changed to a little girl in a skirt complete with tears.

That way the rest of us non p**ssies can point and laugh at them for an hour.

Oh and Mr. Bad Arse Battlemaster, congrats on maxing out on PvP. If you are so l337, you should be able to help your weaker team to victory, amirite?

The incentive for you at this point is to PvP and have fun pwning noobs. If you can't do that in your l337 gears, you've probably already been carried to BM.

You make a commitment to play a WZ when you click that little Q button. If you aren't enough of a man to fight it out, then please don't click that button. Believe me, the rest of us won't miss you for even a second. I'd rather wait 10 minutes for a match to pop, than have to q with fail quitters.

  12. As mentioned above, the key is to take out the turrets on the capital ships. This mission does not require shields or armor really since everything is gunning for the defecting ship.

Make sure you have upgraded blasters and have power focused on your blasters for quick kills.

The capital ships make a couple of rounds at your escort, so the more turrets you blow up, the less damage the ship will take later on.

Learn the pattern of the fighters when you go through the asteroid field and have your blasters gunning for them when they are going to show up.

Wait until you get to Sullest Interception, that one made me want to hurt kittens the first few times. You absolutely have to have the 10 second targeting immunity to finish it.

  13. Due to my frustrations, it had been some time since I ran any WF on my sniper.

They really fixed the lag on cover. I found myself a lot less frustrated having to move around and get back into cover.

I got my columi gear, and proceeded to create a mixed set up of champion and columi gear. I was tearing people apart. Dare I say it, it was actually kind of fun.

Seems like they have made some good improvements. Is it perfect? No. Is it a heck of a lot better and playable? Is for me now.
