Glad to see they are adding dual spec. I did not see the post or thing about it being added but cool. I thought legacy names were permenant like character names (exeption being paid name changes or forced GM name changes). I spent almost an hour deciding on mine because I had the idea that it was a forever thing much like making sure you like your character's name. I don't see combat logs or recount type things being useful enough. Is it the comparing your damage to other top DPS for raids? I most often used it to identify people in groups who were just auto attacking and not doing anything. Or dual-boxers who were doing pretty much nothing on their second char.

You guys do know they make it all sound cool so you will pay more money right? You got a speeder that does not scale with character level, making it useless when you outlevel it. A crystal that is just a joke and does not scale either, can't be changed or upgraded in any way. It's walking a fine line but there's nothing wrong with it. It's your decision what you spend money on Training Droid is another amazing example. I still don't know what the heck it does but I don't think it allows you to train skills when you level up out in the field. I guess it does not do damage either. "assists you in combat" apparantly means spinning around your target. Clever indeed.

Very true. With the number of fence sitters in this game payed subs would be pretty damaging.

There have alreaddy been official posts encouraging people not to roll on high population servers and to roll on lower ones. It was for queues or whatever. They don't really have to do anything more than that.

That is just dumb, the more people on a server the more opportunity to do group content. If you are so anti social and hate people so much that you would actually want to islolate in an MMO on top of the isolation of sitting at a computer than professional help might be needed. Keep in mind the numbers our servers have. If our low pops were what our heavy populated servers currently have it would be a different story. The server numbers are bad especially for republic side so it doesnt make sense to say anything you claimed.

Same here and yet the OP is having the opposite problem. How bizzare, but unfortunately I have no clue how to fix the problem. Maybe make sure you did not force your .ini or card software to display high everything.

Replace the card and you should be good. I'm running a 5770, it's a medium card and as such you're not going to get better performance than what you have now. Turn shadows off and tweak AA depending on your location in the game.

Probably for subscriptions. The longer it goes on the longer the incentive is there.

What kind of ironic world do we live in? Well, mine is seeming awfully ironic right now. I leave WoW, which I played for 7 years, for TOR. Having a blast with TOR, then it gets sour and I force myself to play because hey, it might get better. Then guess who comes along with an offer? Yeah, Blizzard. Well what should I be judging it as? I am just playing for fun lol. It's basicly a demo, even complete with YOU BEAT THE BETA OMGZ! its silly. but i love diablo to death and have been waiting for 3 forever and it's a blast. I am not reading into it or expecting anything but it's basicly the game. What's the confusion about hmm?? I have not even played today either my barb needs more STR gear.

D3 Beta man. I am very patient ^^ So much so that I have the willpower to not resub this month and wait for these updates to see if the game is worth playing I know, I am good.

That might keep me playing until the 19th but I would not pay for another month. The problem for me is not the lack of content, it is that they focused on story. I don't like an MMO that holds up a trophy for one thing while everything else is crumbling around them. The end result is lack of content, but more than that Bioware managed to poop out an MMO. A really painful passing that must have been (and was apparantly). Maybe some people REALLY like voice dialogue and stuff, I don't. I grew up with Everquest, WoW, well pretty much most of them and they were fine. I guess this type of MMO style is not for me

If anything tor has made me not want full voices in future MMOs. I would rather have a great game with text from quest givers and what not.
