Considering the engine and the problems they are having it's really not surprising. Why would they want to touch anything when it works as is?

What game are you playing? Everything is more lively and lifelike than TOR lol. AOC, WoW, EQ2. The fact that you can't loop music in TOR and the seeming lack of music alone hurts it. There's so many things from how there's no smaller wildlife running around or any nature like things going on, no day/night/weather cycles, bad draw on plantlife. it's just laughable, that's not all the little details that are bad either that's just everthing i can think of at the moment.

Some of us do actually expect our first impression of the game to be enough to keep us subbed. I just don't really like the game so that's my personal opinion or whatever.

They said the old high option in beta was a "bug" or something so we are now using what they always meant the game to be. That is what stieve or some other dev said, I'm not just making it up. Anyone know if the statement that the servers or some part of Bioware's hardware can't handle having everything running on the old high res was either a rumor or an official statement? Would like to know if anyone does know which it was.

I am adding the option of choosing The Fleet as my favorite. It's a space station, but frankly the ability to design an inclosed, semi small area and just run with the detail really enabled Bioware to make it look good. Compared to the planets..I'm sorry but I gotta go with Imperial Fleet.

I have a peticular dislike for bacon. I think the whole super greasy strip of fat with meat attached is a gross out thing for me. Apparantly bacon is some kind of manly super food that is held in very high regard in certain places.

They alreaddy made it clear that the graphics will not be any better than they are now. How is this thread still going? This was clear a while ago. We have High and Low. Pick one. Good Job!

As long as they maintain like 600k-1 million subs they are at the numbers they expected. I don't see this game ever needing to use a F2P system at all. If you don't like the game don't play it.

My 48 Jugg has been 48 for a month. I was playing my operative but she's stuck at 39 and I am having trouble doing Quesh right now (just get terribly bored after about 10 minutes). I started on dec 15 so I started early and I guess I just played too much because my reason for resubbing last month was the founder's title lol. When I come back in 6 months to a year I will be like yep, I paid for this

Different classes share the same stories, which is the problem you seem to have decided not to address. Not only are the planets and environments the same (which are lifeless and badly done) but the quests are shared as well (the only quests that are unique to each class are the class quests). 75% of all quests in this game are shared and repeated by at least one other class. Since there are only 8 classes in the game, if you can do basic math, you can see the problem here. A bad game is a bad game, it's as simple as that. BW/EA/Investors knew from the start that they would end up with a rough estimate of around 1 million subs after all the intelligent or experienced MMO people left.

I don't judge a game by how old or new it is, I judge it by what it is when it is presented to me.

I am an RPer and I choose the background and alignment for all my characters before i start playing them. My sith is a pure evil sith pureblood who murders puppies when he gets bored enough. He loves the murder. He goes a murdering all day long. But my operative is only loyal to the Imp Intelligence section of the Empire. She does not know anything about the emporer or the sith and has no loyalty to them at all. And she's full light side. it's a game..you do know that right?

A lot of the bored people came here from WoW expecting a game they would stay with. The result is what you see. That is one theory.

Those two paragraphs I found interesting. The latter paragraph really hit home and made me think about where I was with WoW when I left. Then I realize I am basicly playing WoW again and sitting in the Fleet for hours on end doing nothing. Except it took 1 1/2 months for me to get there with TOR.

The grouping of servers the way it is now is a joke. Please go to http://www.worldofwarcraft.com and find their server forums. Please copy what you see. I know you guys (Bioware) make mistakes and don't know what you are doing but honestly..no one spoke up and mentioned how stupid this layout is? Thank you.

lol i have hardcore a.d.d and I played for 7 years. WoW is on a whole different level than TOR. From the environments, to the music, the pvp, it's pretty much all really good. WoW had it's problems but I was too busy having fun to remember them I guess.

You realize WoW is like 8 years old right and you are asking me to talk about it at Launch? How about Open Beta? Would that be better?

Actually I started on Dec 15 and was on 24/7. With WoW as well. My life is MMOs so take it from me, this game is a stinky dud.

You realize this will never happen as Biofail designed the game to be 75% single player right? You can't just remove their bad designs and systems because they stink.
