  1. Thanks to everyone who answered questions. Its sad to see a game go bankrupt that had so much potential. I really hope there will be an MMO out there that is not "everyone wins" because I loved (but hated) being penalized for death, repair bills, etc... it just made getting through things all that much more worth it. Maybe its a cultural thing with this generation? Who knows. I guess I will play swtor until it does go away. Anybody know of any other MMO's that have a good future besides WoW (been there, done that). I have looked at GW2 and have played Secret World and have enjoyed them both (although I didnt get that far in them).
  2. I know this is a subjective question. On one side you have the "if you like the story line and solo playing, blah blah blah" and on the other side "if you like pvp, raiding, blah blah". What I'm asking the opinion on is the community of the game. I came back after about 9 months and the server I'm on seems dead. 30 people in the republic fleet, 6 people left in the guild, only 1-5 people on any planet I go to. So in THIS sense, where I do enjoy a healthy community... do you think this game is still worth playing? Or is it dying off to the point where everything you are doing is throw away work? Now lets be honest, everything in a video game is throw away work no matter the game. I would simply like to sink my time into something that will last for a few more years. This is a mere friendly probe at the community's thoughts. And FYI: I like mid size populations with casual raiding and occasional pvp (because I know someone was going to ask)
  3. I agree with what I think you said except being my voice. My voice wouldnt have grammar to the point where I couldnt understand you.
  4. Okay BW, I know a lot of people are going to say that I am QQ'ing, etc.. I dont care. First, here are a few of my opinions on the changes. Like them or dont, I dont care. The patch completely ruined PVP for republic and heres how. With a 4 or 5 to 1 imp v rep ratio, going to Ilum is a joke. I was in an ops group of 20 people, and of course, we got railed by 3 other sith ops groups. Good luck on getting armaments because BW thought it to be brilliant to let everyone know when you approach different zones (really? like people cant look or hunt for themselves?) So, after getting railed in Ilum, I decide to do a few rounds of warzones. In record time, I completed 3 warzones in less than 10 minutes. Do you know why? Because I had 3 people on my team each time. Not enough to even play. Did imps have a full team? Of course! They probably had a waiting line. Also, no to mention that the ques for warzones were about 15 minutes long, due to lack of 50's who participate in pvp. BW really screwed the pooch on this one. I would suggest instancing and cross server because the longer it stays like this, the imps will continue to get great pvp gear at epic rates which will only tip the scales in their favor that much more.
  5. On the contrary, Ive heard two interviews with Daniel Erickson talking the VIP lounge up, claiming that it would be worth it.
  6. How about real bounty boards, or dyes for your equipment, or someone who will tell you some answers that fill in some famous questions about lore, a freakin jukebox that is free? Who knows? Again, I wasnt the one that talked the VIP lounge up like it was going to be THE hangout place where all this fantastic stuff is, Bioware did that just fine.
  7. Maybe I expected too much for the CE edition, but to see a vendor that has some overpriced low level gear, and that pretty much being all to the VIP lounge, is a disappointment. I know a lot of people are going to say, "well, what more did you expect?"... but in reality, Bioware talked up the VIP lounge to the point of having higher expectations. I really hope they intend on doing more with that, because as it sits, there is nothing I couldnt live without in the VIP lounge.
