Was in a match yesterday and a couple of opponents were able to go alway across the map into our end zone, and was there mass slowing/stunning people before we even finished dropping down off the platform, how is this even possible?

If your talking PvP, either pick an immortal in full tank gear, or just play a dps spec as rage or vengeance in dps gear. You don't want to run immortal in dps gear at 60 and be the paper tank, you will be tunneled because you see the same pvp players match after match, when they know your a paper tank they will just tunnel you, get rid of you, then move on to the healer. At worst you might even be hurting your team if you are immortal in dps gear guarding your healer, when there is another tank on your team that is a full blown tank and his abilities are being wasted on guarding a dps.

Will I be able to force choke Quinn out an airlock thereby killing him twice?

I think most people are not talking about using an assault cannon in place of their lightsaber. What I and I hope others that are sensible want is a way to change color crystals with our outfits, like this red color crystal in this lightsaber goes good with these clothes, and the green color crystal goes good with these clothes.. I cant see why this could not have been utilized in some way, and basically for some people. just makes the whole system, and the dev time spent on it useless. People are definitely not going to go buy a new crystal every time that want to switch outfits for a few games of pvp, and even if its in collections its too much of a bother to scroll through all the crystals and find your right color every whip stitch, especially in a system where you are supposed to change your looks on the fly at the press of a button. If people cant change the color of their lightsaber or blaster fire with a certain outfit, then the people that actually care about the colors of those things matching their outfit just won't utilize the whole system, and I'd wager that's a lot of people.

My thoughts on this subject every time it comes up. EA hasn't ever even shut down ultima online...and how many subs does it have??? Theres no chance in hell of EA shutting down SWTOR.

You can access this new feature by opening your Character Sheet from the Menu bar of the “C” key by default. All players start with the first tab unlocked. You can assign the appearance of an item to a particular slot by dragging the item from your Inventory and dropping it into the appropriate slot. This does not consume or otherwise “equip” the item – it can be used for multiple appearance tabs. my thinking was if it doesn't equip, it doesn't bind...can you please explain exactly how it works, my game is still patching.

So...since armor doesn't bind or equip with the outfit designer does that mean that the prices of all the rare armor in the game just went Fubar, both world drop like supreme inquisitor or hydra as well as cartel market armors, because if they don't bind people can just use it for cosmetic purposes then just relist it on the gtn for the next person to do the same thing. Rare armor wont be so rare any more and the market is going to fall out of it. Am I seeing this correctly or am I missing something?

Be a shield tech in Tank gear, be what you were made for, your healer will love you, and the other team will hate you. You will be hard to put down unless multiple people spend their time attacking you, with a good healer you may well tie up 75% of the other team and you or the healer never die. Decide what you want to be: Shield tech in tank gear = meat bag soak the dmg for the team, annoyance, thorn in side all match long, major support role...not a lot of damage. Shield tech in Dmg Gear = Way less survivability...Way more Damage. than shield tech in tank gear, but that leaves the question of why not just play a DPS spec to begin with. As well a shield tech in dps gear might even be hurting the team by placing the guard on the healer instead of the full blown tank doing it., and you run into a REAL problem of at 60 you will be playing with and against the same people match after match ranked and unranked, when they figure out you are a paper tank in dps gear, they will just tunnel you down and that will be that, your dead and your healers screwed joining you at the respawn shortly afterward. So basically you need to decide if you want to give the damage or take it, but if you pick tank spec...please wear tank gear, not dps gear, you might not be padding the damage numbers/medals, but your team will love you for it, and you will have the satisfaction of knowing that by keeping your healer alive, and him being able to heal the dps, it was you and he that probably very well won the game for everyone

Like was said for adaptive gear Go with the Mandalorian stuff. For Drop Gear a good black/red set for the 30's levels is the TT-15A POWERTECH armor which is world drop that can be found on the GTN, all parts can be found just check everyday. If you want to look like Jango Fett, in the 40's and 50's, you will want the TT-17A HYDRA armor, that is world drop, can be found on the GTN if you check it every day. Though the price of this armor is usually cost prohibitive for new players as some of each of the individual pieces can run into the millions.

common sense dictates that...but I would hate to spend 40.00 to find out their definition of returning player (not played in a couple of month and returning to sub) and my definition of just continuing to sub, differs.

You do know that Razers Naga mouse (even the SWTOR Officially licensed version) will let you do all that and more, with just one button press (which in turn is actually multiple button presses to hot keys on your keyboard) so as to there actually is a key press for each power used.

LOL....are you really telling me that my EWH characters can go into a warzone, and each piece they take off, i only get better in stats, untill i get super stats at NAKED is OK!!!!....If So I don't just don't know what to say.

They knew it. Gearing Naked Vs PVP gear has been all over the forums...Thats why all the pvpers were up in arms because thier geasr means crap now. You just must have missed it. I'm still waiting to be able to run raids better naked than with gear.

They will all tell you they need the gear because its a gating mechanic, toward new content. The Truth is all they want is the chance to have thier character aquire the Super "Lightsaber of Pwn", "Blaster of Unloaded Doom", "Armor of Pulsing Force". Armegeddon and Betrayer of Humanity (wow references) Type things that drop from raids so they can appear bad "buttes" to people. If it was only about new seeing story content, all they would need it to figure out the AI fight, then run it using the gear the already have. Don't believe it. There is a reason raiders run raids week after week, and get burned out, yet still do it, and its not because they want to see the story for the 20th time.. Its called the new "Shiny" that makes them look pimp and elite, and gives them better stats than anyone else. .....something they obviosely do not want PvPers to have.

Your joking right? Is this your first MMO? Usually when raids are put together chat is spammed with "KNOW FIGHTS..... BE GEARED" or ****. After 2.0 it will be KNOW FIGHTS....BE GEARED....LINK ACHIEVEMENT. I fail to see how this is not elitist. And no i'm not talking about guilds runs, that don't care to carry thier baddies, sure you might find some of that, that would equate to a guild premade carring a baddie. I'm talking about pug raid vs pug warzone.

Having PvP being trivialized with no rewards vs my time spent (vs a Pve'er and his time spent) means that a PvEer's content should be trivialized as well. Raids should be about story progression right.....not gear progression? So why does gear matter in PvE? IF I turned fresh 50 and was bolstered to where I could run raids in my 49 greens, i probably would. Just to see the story content, and the content that has been developed for swtor, but if this was the case...Raiders would be up in arms...but why should they be shouldnt it be in thier intesrest for other players to experience story content....instead of getting the next "ARMAGEDDON"..or "BETRAYER OF HUMANITY". Ya right.................. When 2.0 hits, i can not go into a raid with my PvP gear and do reasonably well, or just a tad below spec a full blown raider.....but a PvE'er can with his gear go into PvP, and do reasonably well.. How does that work out...hmmm.

How does hk-51 weapons and armor scale down on a lowbie? Does anyone know exactly? Thanks.
