If I override the mods in the weapon with my own level mods, will the item level of the weapon revert to my level so i can equip it? No one in game seems to know the answer. Thank you in advance. Much appreciated.

Everywhere I look people are saying that pvp tank gear is not acceptable in pvp...that a full tank should instead be wearing pvp dps gear. As a matter of fact further still people say that a full tank shouldnt even be a full tank, they should be a hybrid tank/dps. That a full tank in pvp tank gear is actually a hindrance to the team, not a help. Is this true? If so how can the devs make PvP tank gearb for a tank actually preferable over the dps set? Obviousely the devs want tanks to wear tank gear or it wouldnt exist, but players say it sucks....so just how exactly should they fix it? How should the devs make it more preferable for a tank to ACTUALLY fill up his tank tree with skill points 31 instead of going sometype of hybrid spec for PvP?? Why cant a tank just be a tank wearing the gear that was made for him, and what needs to be changed?

I am a immortal tank spec warrior, in full tank pvp gear. I know i'm not suppossed to kill anyone, that isnt my job, my job is to harrass, taunt, guard, and slow the enemies, while lasting quite awhile. but why exactly is it that maras and sentinels pwn me like there is no tomorrow...i'm not joking literally today i went from full health like 17.5k i believe,-- to dead in around 4 hits from a sentinel. I'm like wtfowyma? So atleast against maras/sent, not only is my damge gimp from being a tank...i'm gimp from being a tank. Does anybody out there have any advice on what to do. Its a bug...create your last character there, log in with it...delete it, then you should be able to transfer your last character.

Jedi Vs Panda? hmmm....I've played and subed wow since vanilla, into bc, wotlk, and cataclysm. it became a second job...i have a job in real life...when i game it is to have fun...not be a second joband I have a lifetime sub to STO, and can tell you now with the f2p model...i have to save and burn my stipend to even remotely stay competitive....i cant imagine the people that are not lifetime and being nickled and dimed to death to stay competitive.

What you are not understanding is that when the server population gets low enough they will just FORCE MOVE ebveryone that is left, to a server of biowares choosing, and shut down the server you are on. If you want to pick where you want to go....that is going to cost you some $$$. In WoW it is to the tune of 25.00 a pop. WIth SWTOR being the second big mmo...i can see them charging 15.00 a pop, if not more. DO you really think your going to get that service for free just because everything is in place to make it so? Man i wish my water, electric, cable and internet worked that way.

A doctor probably makes more in 1 day than I make all month...it's not fair jim...its not fair!!!!!! You cant expect to put in less time, but reap the same rewards, with your 1 hr. play time vs thier 5 hours. No MMO has ever worked this way.

Wow....bioware gives the players exactly what they want, and the players complain? When original legacy came out, people said the stuff was too expensive, somtimes million credits for 1 power. Bioware responds that the price justfied because they apply to each character per account. Players respond with...they may not have wanted the massive expense for an every character power...that they would rather have it cheaper, and apply to each character, being able to chhose powers/per character. Bioware does this...and players complain. Do you not see a difference between power cost between this legacy patch and the patch and its cost compared to the original? If you really don't like it players have no one to blame other than themselves foir asking for it.

I am full 31 pt. jugg tank spec that runs in tank stanc, in tank gear. I mostly PvP. Can anyone that is more knowledgable on 1.3 and that has been keeping up with the changes tell me if this setup is getting buff or nerf. thank you in advance.

i would be seriously thinking about which toons i would transfer, unless you are actually going to be paying the $15.00 times each of the 8 characters that you might have on that server.

The thing is if you drop defender points, no one is going to stay and defend a node, when they can get more medals simply running around getting hk's. my jugg tank and my wifes marauder, we will routinely defend a point and i have her guarded...they will have to send several people to wipe us out and even then we will survive long enough to call out incomings, keep them from turning node till others come to help etc. If more incentive and medals were given for farming kills, damage, etc. then there would be no incentive to defend. The reason we started defending to begin with was because imps would take a node, and every single person would run off and leave it defenseless....pretty much like capping shb or iwb in alterac valley then just leaving it...it makes no sense. We want to win, not just be part of a run and gun bg thats fubar.

My powertech BH is level 47 so i know that he cant, my sith inquisitor has like a 5 second sprint...so i guess that could sort of count...but i have literally seen someone in huttball get the ball from the pit and get to the end zone in like 5-7 seconds, and they look like the inquisitor assassin sprint...which class does this? Is this something new? and yes we lost...lol.

Been PvPing alot lately and ive noticed some strange things, that might be bugs not sure. 1. sonic barrier buff that soaks moderate amount of damage---i can die and this buff still be active, like it didnt soak anything...wierded 2. before when i force leap/charge it stunned the person the 2 seconds almost always...so i specced the 2 points for the extra second stun...and now it almost never works, they are not stunned even 1 second...let alone the 3. another thing i'm not to sure about because it happens to both my jugg tank and my bounty hunter tank, my resolve bar shows full but i'm still stunned etc. like there is no tommorrow taking multiple stuns from multiple people....when i do this on them with either my jugg tank or bh tank, they just keep running and chugging along like nothing happened....anyone know what might be going on here?

just playing devils advocate with those that say jugg tank is better than marauder in pvp. The maurauders worst defensive cool down (saber ward) is the juggs best one...should be "nuff said"

my immortal...like in voidtar when we attack i'll just be constantly casting the 50% move debuff (free with talents) in the middle of a hallway moving along slowly when we attack which is pretty much automatic win and game over...(i dont get any medals for that...but we did win because of it)...taunting everyone, protecting and guarding...you wont top any damage boards...but you arent supposed to. Your supposed to be hard to kill, bothersome and annoying and soaking damage for your team.

accept that a lower roll for a character will always supercede a high roll for a companion in this system.....ie if anyone rolls need that they can personally use, it wont even make it to companion rolls.

leave party first sight of ninja looting and make them "famouse" on your server....there is no lfg tool in this game...they get a bad rep on that server, they have screwed the pooch
