  1. He probably dosen't know because his BM gear had the improper mods in it and therefore didn't upgrade.

  3. There is really nothing to mod out anymore, until after you grind you warhero set. Buy up ranked coms and get WH pieces. The other guy that was talking about modding BM set is clueless.
  4. By using by using the default mods in our bm gear, do you mean we have 200 more expertise than you?
  5. Doing aoe damage is a good way to pad meters, not kill people..
  6. Pyrotech merc kinda sucks now too. I do 2/3 of the damage I did pre 1.2
  7. Hotfix? Doubt it. I'm unsubbing, if you're not playing powertech / assn / marauder. There's no point in playing. Looks like bioware got me on this one, I paid for 6 months in advance hoping that 1.2 would bring about exciting changes. But they broke pvp , which is the only reason I play this game anyway.
  8. Same, I was playing pyro merc before patch, after the latest hsm 'fix' I switched to arsenal and it was total crap, I'm probably gonna quit because the merc class is gonna be crap for a long time it seems. 1.2 was supposed to make the game more enjoyable, all it did was stress class imbalance.
  9. Heals are broken. This patch is broken. All classes other than assn marauder and powertech are broken. Devs could care less. There are no metrics. Here's a free month.

  11. I have a pyro pt, I dont enjoy playing it because it's a fun or challenging class because it's neither. I play it occasionally because it's a complete faceroll class, and I've been saying this about 2months after the game went live. The class is completely broken, Bioware added more burst to the most bursty class. When stacked in 2's with teamspeak This class will global almost anyone. When stacked in 3's which my guild does occasionally, we **** their entire team? Thing is only one person needs to use flameburst on the called out focus target, the other 2 can skip the gobals on flamburst and straight railshot and never really generate heat, because of the 100% flamburst combustable gas talent. While we do that we stack thermal dets on a different target..
  12. NO FEEDBACK ToR Provided a PTS which is nice, it's supposed to be a place where people can test content and codify valid class / content changes. THE PROBLEM: EVERYONE STARTS AT LEVEL 1. How were we supposed to give valid feedback on endgame content and pvp changes if we cant even experience them. Would really hate to unsub, but Diablo III is looking mighty nice compared to 1.2 changes. I'm not gonna go on a rant or anything, but please let me know if I wasn't the only one that was completely satisfied with PvP pre 1.2 and horrified with the metric changes post 1.2.
  13. Well bh's arent useless, pyrotech powertechs got buffed from ppa, and mercs got nerfed. I have 3/4 the damage output I used to have. Before people start claiming that damage is unimportant, mercs are possibly the most worthless class for doing objectives. They're an assist class. Before the patch me and my powrtech friends were doing about 500k dmg, and now they're doing 650 and I'm stuck trying to hit 300k and beaten by every tank class besides jugg almost every time.
  14. Healers cant really heal though damage that well anymore, 2 burst classes can global them in a stun. Or just put out damage that becomes unhealable.
  15. Yeah it's kinda sad that heals are broken this patch, and dps is king. 1v1 any class with significant defensive cd's will trump any other class. Seems like marauders and tank sins are top classes right now. I feel pretty bad for healers.

    Well, I mean I guess I shouldn't have exaggerated, because then every armchair fourm nerd comes out and picks apart whatever you're saying. Maybe it's not 2 seconds maybe it's 4-5 seconds. But the PPA change gave us consistent burst dps every 6 seconds. Enough burst dps to down pretty much anything but an operative healer in only a few seconds. You can say 'what if railshot is deflected?', 'what if you miss?'. what if x only happens 4% of the time?

    I think what most people are failing to realize is that your railshot thermal det and rocket punch are hitting at practically the same time if timed right.. The follow up railshot leaves most classes sitting at round under around 6-7k health.

    I'm not even trolling, opening on someone does at least half their health in damage. If explosive fuel is off cd, It's game over.

    Open with incendiary missile thermal det railshot rocket punch railshot. ~700dmg 3.8k 3k 2.6k follwup railshot 1.7k-3k Assuming the first 2 are crits Even if none crit it's still doing about 7k dmg.

    Anyone else notice how much damage powertechs do after the patch? I mean the changes are enjoyable, but as a pyro pt, I literally kill people in less than 2 seconds. Not fresh 85's but tanks, healers, and other dps in full bm sets. Is this really balanced?
  22. Here's a really good idea, allow people to copy their characters to the PTS so they can actually test the content. Nothing like waiting to the last possible second to break the news Bioware.
