  1. Companies don't typically talk about bug fixes. New content is what will sell the game and new content often comes with bug fixes. When asked directly in interviews about specific bugs they have been more than willing to say they are aware and where they stand on teh bugs. Also they have stated that they plan to make it so you can remove the armoring from the endgame set pieces and have the set bonus move with the armoring. So basically what the OP wants is planned to be there is some form.
  2. ACs are classes. They are not specs. Since when does a spec have 3 specs trees within it and abilities only for it that you get from leveling and not placing points into a tree? Also different games are different.

  4. If you need deadly boss mods for this game that is just sad. In a recent interview devs said that their goal was never have people feel like they need it. Battles are scripted with big tells for attacks and easily noticeable "fires" to get out of. The fights are fun without being so complex you need something to tell you want to do.
  5. SW are modeled after Darth Vader who used one hand on the saber for the majority of fights. There are a few strikes in the game that has the SW use two hands though.

  8. They didn't nerf it, they brought the tool tip inline with what it was actually doing. Before it never hit as hard as the tooltip. Also I'm getting just as much power on my champ gear as I do with my pve gear. PvE gear actually give more endurance and strength. the secondary stats seem to stay the same.
  9. This is just flat wrong. DPS Juggs have less survivability than maruaders do. They get only 2 defensive cooldowns, one which removes 30% health after it's duration and one on a long cooldown and heavy armor means bupkiss overall.
  10. In what gear. With champ gear my shatter hits for 1100 upront and 1400 through the dot which is not 3k.
  11. Doesn't matter that jet charge looks faster. They both lockout doing anything for the GCD meaning they are pretty much both equal as they also both root at the beginning of teh animation.
  12. and compared to other sustained damage trees that have dots? Oh that's right they are weaker and have less synergy. Vengeance is trying to be both burst (see savagery and rapmpage) and sustained dot tree. this leaves it lacking in both.
  13. really? No where do you mention perfect conditions. In a later post you mention perfect conditions to get 6k when in fact you'd need perfect conditions to get near the 4k you claim happens without perfect conditions. Also pooled hatred says next melee ability that costs rage. Abilities for juggs are classified as melee and force. Force abilities give yellow damage numbers and melee give white damage numbers. A force ability that has a melee range is still a force ability rather than a melee ability. This is clearly demonstrated by Operatives that their melee attacks are classified as tech rather than melee. Yes, bug posts are nice but they should get their own thread. Instead this one just looks like you are trying to deflect from the topic at hand.
  14. You are assuming all games make classes the same as others. For example, paladins and clerics shared a lot of abilities and sorcs and mages share a lot of abilities in DnD. Aion classes share abilities. Dark age classes share abilities and even trees. Games make classes as different things, and can even possibly call a class by something other than class.
  15. So this post was pointless other than to point out that shatter doesn't hit as hard as you say without build up? edit: Pooled hatred shouldn't even be effecting shatter as shatter is a force ability (yellow numbers on hit and dot) and shouldn't be classed a melee ability then.
  16. No they aren't. They are about 400 from impale, 250 from scream, and then half of shatter which will be anywhere for 700- 1400. It will only get to 2500 with crits.
  17. I'm really having a hardtime believing you get 4k damage from Shatter. It ticks once every 3 seconds so 4 ticks (3 ticks if it ticks every 4 seconds). Does about 1000 damage upfront so 3000 would be the dot damage and that would be 750 a tick (1000 a tick if it is 3 ticks). the highest I have ever seen it tick is 500 (was a string of crits) which is well short of 4k damage. Mind posting a screenshots/video of the ticks?
  18. No way does it do 4k damage. The damage numbers in the tooltips update with gear. Currently at 50 in Champion gear it barely breaks 2.5k damage over 12 seconds (including the initial hit). With crits it can get to 4k with crits. Overall my impale hits harder on a regular basis. Problem isn't really the damage though. The problem is that it takes so long to do the damage and there is no synergy with dots in the vengeance tree and has a large rage cost and requires a stack of sunder. Lower the duration to 9 seconds (or just make it do all damage up front), reduce rage cost to 4. Remove the sunder requirement. Make it synergize with the tree (when on a target the other dots get a boost in damage). Make dots more than just extra damage (chance to reset cooldown of scream, chance to heal self, chance to tick twice, apply a low level snare to target, tick have a chance to make your next ravage able to be used on the move, etc). Then there are talents that make it seem like it wants to be a burst spec such as the +60% to scream and viscious throw, resetting the cooldown on Ravage. Vengeance just doesn't know what it wants to be
  19. heavy armor means nothing. It is only about 5% more mitigation against two type of damage. Marauder has more defensive cooldowns to survive.

    On Dark reaper, It's almost always semi fair. Heck sometime the Imperials are even outnumbered.
  21. Ataru's extra attack is on a 1.5 second cooldown meaning it can occur every time you hit an ability. Also if they are carnage spec their offhand is 66% of the mainhand. Carnage isn't even their big dps spec. Annihilation is which has better dots than Vengeance, hard hitters just like vengeance, more mobility than vengeance, and builds rage with the damage they do from dots.
  22. Don't use the cover ability on the hotbar. Use the key you can bind to it. It activates no GCD and is instant. There is no setup time. So many times have I been instantly cover pulsed by a running agent or gunslinger and I've done instant cover pulses as well. There really is no setup time if you play the class right.

    Arena

    Blizzard devs said their biggest mistake was the arenas. I'd consider a force of 300 that can hold off a force of 1000 a show of more skill than an arena match.

  25. You completely missed the poin ou completely missed the point of the Sorc not using the bubble. Not all classes have a defense they can keep up 100% of the time. Most can barely keep them up 20% of the time if they are lucky. SC/OPs can kill nearly as fast as that against heavy armor too and heavy armor classes have no defensive cooldown that they can keep up 100%.
