  1. They are separate in all games. Last I saw you were the one arguing that ACs weren't a class because they were called advanced classes rather than classes. In essence changing ACs would be respecing from one class to another in other games.

  3. You actually don't need to spec for defensive stats as immortal. Missed the point. You claimed the class was fine because of your success in one tree. I leveled in vengeance and had success with it, that however doesn't mean that that spec is fine. You have to take the entire class in and how it sets when compared to the leveling experience of other classes. You can also level in dps gear while tank spec if you would actually get to equal level with your content. It actually makes it a lot easier since you don't give up that much mitigation.
  4. You can also look at the advanced class page and see that "This decision is equally as important as choosing your initial class at character creation." Classes can be many things and can be called many different things. You can even have the class of a character be called a sub-class while the archetype is called a class. It's all simply semantics.
  5. How did malgus knock your tank off in that phase? All he does is force lightning. If it pushes you then you just position yourself back to the wall and are safe. But yes they do need to fix that bug.
  6. Because you can roll empire on one server and republic on another thus have all 8 ACs on each side.
  7. You've never played as any other class. All of them have been easier leveling with merc being by far the easiest to level. All of them can level pretty easily no matter spec. the fact that we consider immortal the only good leveling spec says the class is broken. I personally leveled to 50 as vengeance. And it was quite frankly hell.
  8. I never want to see 3 and 4. For 7, you haev to realize that there are only so many type of quests. Even single player games can be broken down to Kill this, Get that, Go there, carry this. Even in GW2's radically different system they will break down to the same basic quest functions (just saying this as an example). It is pretty unrealistic to expect any thing other than the types of quest we have.
  9. Because you phrased it in no way like an Opinion. there was no "I think" or "I feel." It was basically a bullet list like you would see of facts. then when someone said in your opinion, you said wrong and started saying guildmates are leaving, when that doesn't change that it is your opinion. And the no 50 against lower levels fixes the exact complaint you mentioned in your post.
  10. No it is still your opinion. It is not a fact like you seem to be trying to pass it off as. And your problem with 50s and expertise? You should look at the 1.1 patch notes. Here's a hint, non 50's can't be matched against 50s anymore meaning no gigantic expertise+level gap. More fixes are going out faster in this game than I have experienced in any game before this. I expect them to be stated as opinion rather than as fact. Further you must not ready much on these forums, there are people who truly believe their opinion is right and applies to everyone and that no one can disagree with it. Look no further than the AC changing discussion. most of us are guilty of it in those threads, myself included.
  11. Actually it is still an "in your opinion" the single fact that people disagree with you makes it simply an opinion.
  12. That actually lends towards the class is broken since you have to be e specific spec with certain gear. If you can do that as rage or vengeance in dps gear, you'd have more of an argument that the class is fine. But you even admit you had to do something semi drastic to even make it so where you can level decently.

  14. You can turn it off in options. You have three options there. Off, as a surname, or as a title.
  15. Kinda off topic but did anyone else think "Really?!" when they said Sith Inquisitors were more popular than they thought they would be. All the class polls had the SIs as the most popular choice and the talk of OPness from the beta only added to that. Makes me wonder if they actually paid attention to anything pre-release.
  16. Every single one of those had game breaking bugs at launch. WoW you couldn't loot things. Rift while relatively bug free had issues the stopped people from playing, AoC was buggy as all hell with bugs that ranged from bosses becoming unbeatable, bugging out storylines, regular mobs dropping raid epics. Eve had issues at launch as well but they were not as apparent due to the much smaller population. Last time I played EvE they still had issues of entire sectors of space being down or impossible to load. Essentially you see the bugs in this one since you have experienced them, yet readily turn a blind eye to any of them in other games. I see far more bug fixing going on here than I have in any game in a long long time.
  17. There is no given heavy armor back. They have pretty much always had medium armor. i believe the only time they could had heavy armor was in in house testing and even then back in the alpha testing we had reveals of marauders and sentinels only having medium armor.
  18. You'll need stims and adrenals to hit that unless you hit a low level with no expertise.
  19. read the latest interview. It say maybe. Maybe means just that maybe. So don't assume.
  20. Armor mitigates energy and kinetic. The only thing of teh Juggs that bypasses defense are the bleeds in vengeance and shatter. Everything else has to go through armor.
  21. You are seeing it wrong. Yellow numbers = tech/force attacks White numbers = range/melee attacks.
  22. Yellow numbers means the damage was done by a force power, white is by melee skills.
  23. Having cloak of pain is better than heavy armor. I'd trade you any day as a jugg.
  24. Which is crap compare to the sniper getting to use it at 30 meters at 30% health. Go rally for your own class instead of jumping into a thread without the whole picture.
  25. No, just needs a benefit. Assassins is melee range and they get the benefit of using it at 30% health.
