  1. Why is this junk on PTS? There's nothing to test. Complete one build then publish it to PST. All this did was piss off the player base.
  2. Google Star Wars Galaxies... Then tell us what pull you think a community has.. RIP Galaxies.... 12/15/2011....
  3. This game makes me miss Star Wars Galaxies more ever year... I feel like the innovation is gone. I want an in-depth, open sandbox please...
  4. All MMOs get to this point. The game is so mature and starts down a specific path that not everyone is on board with. It happened to Star Wars Galaxies back in the day (that gave us the NGE and literally destroyed the game). So, it happens.
  5. I run SWTOR on my MacBook Pro in Bootcamp (Windows 10). But i'd LOVE a native client..
  6. Yeah, most of my list has already been posted. But I do enjoy the Galactic Command System.
  7. 1. Lack of an open world. This game feels like one large maze and doesn't allow for a truly planet wide exploration. 2. Cookie cutter professions (I really hate this!). Allow Jedi (for example) to chose what type of Lightsaber they want to wield (I.E. A Guardian may want to use a double bladed saber). Also Let me chose what powers I want my Jedi to use (I.E. don't classify powers by sage vs sentinel vs guardian, etc). 3. Lack of space content! I'd like a real space aspect of the game and not the mini fighter game that is complete junk. Have real maps with real ship progression and eventually multi player ships, where players could actually design and customize their interiors with furniture. (Star Wars Galaxy reference)
  8. Get away from cookie cutter templates... 1) Allow players to piece together a Jedi by selecting traits/abilities/powers (I.E. Someone who wants to be a little tankie and a little force powers-ie) 2) Allow Jedi to choose their Lightsabers (double bladed, duel wield, or single hilt)
  9. I always hoped that a few developers at Bioware had played Star Wars Galaxies and would use that as a reference for a mind blowing MMO. But I do agree with most of the comments in this thread that there is to much focus on Story and not enough on content.
  10. I disagree. By opening up weapons to any class, they wouldn't feel so cookie cutter. I'd love to customize my Jedi further by how they train/use a lightsaber. Double bladed on my Sentinal please.
  11. She has become one with the force... God Speed Princess Leia!
  12. I'd really love to see a new profession, "Pilot". This would allow for people to craft and build their own ships and have open space missions (no rails!). I'd love to see a career path for people to start out as "Pilot" and end up as "Fleet Admiral".
  13. Is this the first step to open Space Flight? I'd love to be able to build my own ship like a shipwright. (See Star Wars Galaxies for great ideas on how to do this).
  14. I would like to see a fully developed space game (much like how Star Wars Galaxies, Jump to Lightspeed) was. I'd also like to be able to custom build ship parts and build ships.
  15. The F2P model makes it's money via micro transactions. It's going to come from people spending real money on Cartel coins..
  16. I want the game to have more depth... Get away from the WoW design.. As I previously stated, players want housing, they want a real space simulator, they want more of a sandbox game..
  17. I agree with what people are saying. The SUB price was NOT driving people away, it's the quality of the game. I've been playing since Closed Beta and this game feels like WOW with Star Wars Skins. I don't feel like I own anything in this Universe and I don't feel like I"m playing my own story, everything is predetermined. I HATE the mini space game. You could take some lessons from Star Wars Galaxies. People LOVED building their own ships out of parts from crafters and they LOVED having furniture they could move around their ships and having player housing. The entire game feels like it's on rails and that's what's driving people away.
  18. The only reason why I'm excited about 1.5 is to get more players into the game. Some days I spend an hour or so in the gorup finder waiting for Flash Points. The sadest thing about this game is that it has no real depth. This game will always be compared to Star Wars Galaxies. In Galaxies, You had your own house(s), you can decorate, drop furniture, etc. It also had a real space simulator where again, if you get one of the end tier ships, you could decorate the crap out of it with tech consoles, droids, etc.. You even could have multiple people be turrett gunners! Plus let's not forgot how amazing the crafting and harvesting of resources was.. So, hopefully these F2P people will stick around.
  19. Your really making a post about being upset because of an extended maintenance cycle? Thank you for cluttering up the forums with a pointless thread..
  20. I was in closed beta, and left for a few months, but came back. I enjoy this game, the stories are fun, I love the graphics, and the people. This game has the most potential (and money) to continue to expand into a huge game. Give it time..
  21. I am one of those players that left the game for a few months and then came back. I've been playing Star Trek Online (but that game has hit a wall, the development team and the company that own them have destroyed it.) I'm my honest opinion, after playing a lot of other MMO's currently on the market, TOR is one of the most stable games WITH THE MOST POTENTIAL to succeed. To the player base, I implore you, if you don't like something about TOR, post why and post how you would suggest BIOWARE fixes it. Every MMO has issues, and no one game can give EVERYONE what they want. Please post feedback rather then rage. Bioware and the Community can't survivie without the other. Do your part! :-)
