  1. Haha whups I meant the big and tall one - type 3. Type 4, to steal words from others, looks like a porky SW convention geek trying to fit into the costumes.
  2. Linebacker looks like body 2. The best case scenario for body 4 is heavyweight powerlifter. But it's pretty much just fat. Not morbidly obese 500+ pounds, but 300+ range on a <6' frame.
  3. Yup. The story is only notable because it's front and center in an MMO, but the story itself isn't particularly compelling. And the choices are, in fact, utterly meaningless aside from dark/light/companion points. I played a goody-two-shoes consular, then the worst consular ever (seriously, complete fail at everything I'm supposed to do and stand for), and the results were identical aside from light/dark orientation. My companions will always join me. I'll get exactly the same missions. No matter what I do, I'll be celebrated as "the best <insert class> ever!!!" by everyone I talk to. They're indeed stuck between their design desires and the genre requirements.
  4. If it's happening multiple times in a row, with the same people, then you're probably right. If not, then it's probably just unlucky. That said, I expect to be outnumbered when I solo queue as Republic. Very normal to see 6 or 7 nearly the entire match, with brief flashes of 8 as people join and leave.
  5. Should provide a roly poly body type for both. The male is quite fat, while the female is just very curvy.
  6. Would have reported this thread for obvious sarcasm trolling, but the responses are kinda fascinating.
  7. So much more freedom. Not unlimited freedom, but more than this game provides. Though "slicing" a computer after killing 30 boars would have blown minds.
  8. Han Solo in the movies pretty much spent all his time invisible or healing, it's true.
  9. Trinity is just easier to balance and tune encounters toward. No redeeming qualities other than that. Nice OP.
  10. Interacting with other players: not social. Selecting 1-3 on a quest tab while in a group: social.
  11. I read more than the title of the thread, which is why I posted what I did. You should go check it out though. If people are only playing for the story, this game has a very short shelf life.
  12. OCD calling normal people ADHD is amusing.
  13. That position is not in opposition to the OP's premise.
  14. I appreciate his thoughtful deliberation before he engages in combat or switches target. Lets me know he cares.
  15. OP was a decent post. Rating good due to the effort. These are not the reasons people I know have quit the game, so I guess they're in the "reasons you will leave TOR and should" category.
  16. Press "n" or click the crew icon (looks like a diamond) on the top bar.
  17. People appreciate different things. To me, there's a huge void of information in this game. It actively detracts from my enjoyment in every aspect of play. To others, lack of information apparently represents freedom from tyranny. Looking forward to the combat log implementation. Will increase my enjoyment solo and in groups. Hope the folks afraid of logs can find a way to group together, so they also enjoy the game to their fullest.
  18. This quest has a few issues: 1) It's right near the start. I think it was the second quest I did on Quesh. That's great if you want to skip the planet, but it's pretty easy to go in at 34-35. I leveled to 35 while doing this quest. Bit deeper into the planet and players would be more likely to hit it at 36, which would be more appropriate (get resil at 36, which probably helps). 2) The spell damage makes the caster silvers do more damage than most heroic+2 scenarios prior to this point. 3) Needing to kill 7 groups is a bit much. It's very similar to a short +2 in that respect. Basically the difficulty level is far higher than the rest of the planet's solo content, and it's right at the beginning. That's poor design. It's doable at or under-level, and the OP at 41 really needs to learn to use CC/interrupts, but the quest is also obviously out of tune.
  19. Guy should be a couple levels lower. I did all of the normal series quests on every planet through Alderaan, plus all heroic+2s, and came in at level 30. I couldn't verify this due to lack of combat log, but I believe he resisted my interrupt on a couple occasions due to the level difference. The first time nothing happened on interrupt, I let the cast finish to see what happened. Ha ha. Holiday and knockback both work to interrupt as backup plans, though Holiday has to wait until Theran is finished with his current action. The cast is ridiculously long and easy to catch, but the level is just off. Shouldn't be a 4-level jump.
  20. Very low crit? Using a tank companion?
  21. Space combat is a completely different, and much worse, game than SWTOR. But as long as it remains completely optional and irrelevant to the actual game, I don't care. If BW wants people to play this, well, they have the numbers and they can track how popular or unpopular it is.
  22. Haha no. The bolster doesn't provide talents or any sort of advantage.
  23. Don't really agree with medals for extremely high numbers. But there should be other medals for healers. Or more crossover with the guard medals.
  24. In case this isn't a troll: If you aggrod multiple groups, move around a corner to both reduce your damage and clump them up for aoe. Passive Elara so she joins you and doesn't just get shredded. Remember to start her back up again. If there are no corners and you picked up more mobs than you can handle, consider just running the other direction. They'll stop following after a bit, and they don't shoot when they're running. If they're melee, use your knockback. If 3 normals and a silver are giving trouble, concuss shot the silver and kill the normals. In general, with a mixed group of normals and higher, killing the normals first is the right choice. Um. If you're still using explosive round regularly on tatooine, don't. Grav shot should be your go-to single target attack, and explosive round's aoe damage isn't worth the cost. Generally, look to kill things before trying to heal yourself. If multiple things are shooting you and you're trying to heal, you probably won't make up much ground. If you must heal against ranged, think about moving around a corner before doing so. Make sure your abilities are in a location you can find on your hotbars. If everything is difficult at +6 levels over the mobs, or at even level, then there's something fundamentally wrong with your approach to combat. Take some time to think about what you're doing, and what talents/skills you have available.
