That part never made any sense to me in the movie. I mean they had both been all over the place during that fight, both of them had the high ground multiple times. And then after that wild fight, suddenly the high ground was the major difference. They had been doing acrobatic moves and blocked saberblows from all kinds of angles and positions, during flip-flops and what have you. Then suddenly that jump was an "impossible" move to succed for Vader. Made no sense to me.

And looking at any Star Wars fan-discussion it seems impossible to even please 10% since so much is open for interpetation. Just look at all the heated arguments between fans about Star Wars. Palpatine was just playing with him, like a cat do with a mouse. He could have fried Luke quickly if he wanted to. But you could see in his face how much he enjoyed torturing Luke after Luke refused to join.

I find that a bit unfair actually, they fought on Sidious' homefield sort of speak, it was crawling with Palpatine's loyal soldiers around. Had they been fighting in a Rebel controlled base I think Yoda would have re-engagded after he fell off the "platform". And Sidious would probably been trying to get out of there. Yoda only had so much time until Palpatine's minions would get there and interfere. I'm not claiming Yoda was stronger or would have beeten him on his "homecourt", but it was a draw and Yoda had to leave before Palpatines soldiers arrived, and they did shortly after the fight, he probably sensed it. Also Luke was a wimp who got a crashcourse from Yoda, Since Lucas haven't written any of the EU stuff EU doesn't count Like Lucas said in the 60 minutes interview when they asked if he would make episode 7-9. "There is no episode 7, and never will be". Can't remember word for word, but he made it quite clear that it had never ever been intended to be more that 6 episodes, it was 6 episodes from the beginning, he just had to do 4-6 first for technological reasons. So Star Wars is episodes 1-6, all else is just "unofficial" or "Hey, this could make me more money, so sure I'll approve a licence".

Well a MMO is never finished, only sunset. And aftr 6 years and $200M in development cost the publisher have to step in and push it out. Its the same with all software, you work on it until the development budget is empty. Then you have 2 choices, release it and patch it post release. Or just cancel the the game and lose everything invested.

HMM. Over 2M units sold and 1.7M subscribers in the "free" month. So that means 300k sold units have not even been activated. Is this units sold from Origin plus hard copies sold to stores that the stores haven't sold yet. Or is it like unwanted X-mas gifts or something. Why would that many sold units not be activated yet?

5.9 is unfair. The game is good, yeah many of us expected something better. But it's still a good game and a 8.0 score is more like it. Sure there are many things I don't like, was hoping for a bit more sandboxy experience. But thats just me. Still 8 is a fair score considering it's a newly launches MMO. All the hype and reported budget of the game has hurt peoples impressions.

WoW what was that? high clockspeed compared to ram. My first was a Commodore 64 with a 1Mhz motorola cpu and 48K ram for apps + 16k for kernel. Then the mighty amiga 500 and a Atari 1040 STE . Both with a motorola 68000 @ 7.14Mhz and a whopping 1MB ram

But the devs they have hired come from different MMO companies including SOE. So the devs have made MMO's before. except the kotor devs that also worked on this. But they were probably area designers. And by the looks of things they most have gotten a bunch from Blizzard

Space combat is a huge part of star wars, so a little mini game inspired by the late 80's arcade game afterburner won't do. I bet the first expantion is space upgrade.
