  1. As a former hater, I really appreciate bioware at the very least giving us 30 days for free. That's the 1st step in gaining my trust back. After fully experiencing 1.2 and the stuff they did with it, I'm more confident my money is going to a good cause when I see them do stuff like this, but that free month REALLY did it. I've never seen any other company do that before, bravo bioware.
  2. woah dude, you're WAY too angry. I don't think it's ANYONE'S agenda that is 50 to transfer from a pve to pvp server with even the slightest intention of ganking low level players.
  3. I don't know what it is either, but it bothers the hell out of me. You don't ever see this in ANY other gaming community. The only logical conclusion I can come to is just: that's how bioware fans are...anti-social. They like socializing and conversing with npcs with the 1-2-3 keys instead of human beings.
  4. hahaha, this guy thinks im exagggerating how many times i get stunned. Do you play a healer? Just curious, because if not, then you have no idea.
  5. But anyway, people should be using their interrupts and other forms of cc, but instead they all that PLUS a stun. This is just ridiculous. I would like to know the reasoning behind giving every single class every possibilty possible.
  6. why does EVERY single class have a stun? I can tell you right now that any dps spec does not deserve a stun. They should be limited to only tank and heal specd players. I can't tell you how many times I'd had to break one stun only to have 7 more chain stuns thrown at me.
  7. I wouldn't count on it. remember that train they talked about?? yeah....I wouldn't expect much from bioware after that fail marketing ploy.
  8. yet when you pretty much abandon attention to player issues that are the fault of the game design, to cater to people who haven't paid a single penny and never intended to, then yes....there should be something to make up for the bad decision of pushing your paying customers off to the side. I guarantee you the people who ultimately got fed up and left the game wouldn't had left if bioware had taken more initiative and show they are consistantly trying to fix the game. And no, pushing off an update just to squeeze out another month or 2 worth of subs out of people is sad, pathetic, and embarassing.
  9. oh you mean those little things that you can show off to the 10 people on the republic fleet that don't care? Nah, I mean real big boy stuff. Stuff that shakes things up a bit, but not too much i.e. server transfers for just my main like i stated before, or maybe a free month(or half month), I dunno, get creative....they're a multi million dollar company, I'm sure they can come up with something unique.
  10. like this $20 off DE, 2 free weekends in a row, 7 day trial if you know someone who plays the game. When will the players paying bioware actually get some attention and a little extra "thank you" benefit for sticking with them? Personally, I'd be happy with just a simple free server transfer for my main.
  11. I'm not here to have this debate. There are 100 other topics to do that in. Fine okay, the game itself may not be dying, but the servers sure are. I'm not gonna sit here and argue with you, that's a fact and everyone(with the exception of the rare few) will come in here and agree with me on that point with their own personal experiences. If it took them this many years to produce this little content, I just don't see how they can put out enough content at the rate to keep it alive(even if it goes f2p) for 10 years.
  12. Just looking at this objectively, how can they possibly think that they'll last for 10 years when they're already struggling this hard not even 6 months into the game? Even to this date in time, wow has not lived for 10 years, and that game is pretty much on the decline if not over.
  13. Nah, I'm a consular, and he's pretty much right. Even WITH the dots and cc, and mana regen ability, i dont even fully fill up my 2 center action bars(mainly because i drop the absolutely useless abilities) I use maybe 10-12 abilities at most, and that's to cover every situation possible as long as other people are doing their job. Healing is easy, and with the lack of people, and soooooo many people rollings sages, I've decides to switch servers and play a tank for a new challenge. So far I've played 16 levels of a vanguard trooper, and I haven't looked back at my boring sage since.
  14. Yep. I'm a huge gamer, and gaming is a big part of my life, but after experiencing swtor, I actually think I hate games now. What a huge massive letdown...I just can't get excited for anything gaming related anymore after this huge flop called swtor.
