if so, maybe its because some of the other classes arent as much FUN to play. I mean, I play all classes and AC and have numerous 50s. But I despise the cover mechanic for my smuggler. I couldnt be less interested. And Ill say this. because ppl THINK sorcs are OP, many have rushed out and made sorcs. But because you see a bunch doesnt mean theyre good. Sure, its popular because everyone says theyre so OP. Well, let me tell ya, my 50's eat thru ost of them. they think the end-all be-all is their lightning which i happily interrupt and then eat right thru them. dont think because u see a bunch it means theyre OP. It just means ppl THINK they are.

dont misunderstand, im not syaing "l2play," but rather trying to make some of the complainers crying out for nerfs realize that no one is unstoppable, it may just seem that way because they don't know the ins and outs of their opponents' class. For one, if any one class were really so OP, then the complainers would just go roll that class. Or they'd be asking the devs to beef up their own class to be commensurate with their opponent. theyre not. Theyre just dying in wz's thinking 'that guy is so unfair." Well he's not. He just knows YOUR weaknesses. Why not learn his? In effect, im offering a solution. GO PLAY THAT CLASS THAT YOU THINK IS SO OP. First, you'll soon realize you're not unstoppable. Second, you'll learn WHY you arent, you'll learn WHAT stops you -and when you return to your main you'll have the inside scoop to take down that sorc, trooper, op, marauder or whomever you think is OP this week...

then who keeps shooting all those tracer missiles at me? Who force leaps to me so constantly? Have you ever considered maybe that's the situation on YOUR server, not all of them?

I'm glad, because there's no reason to. I think people need to really recognize that every class can seem OP when you're unfamiliar with their inner workings.

in other wors you want your own special rank of gear only you can get. You want to obtain it first and fastest so you can shut out everyone else who joins SWTOR later on, even if theyre very skilled. Ok thats nice. I'm a BM and it didnt take the patch to make me one. And I dont want this terrible elitist idea.

well acording to these forums, everyone is OP. It just depends on the flavor of the day. The truth is, no one is OP. They just think this class or that class is because they can't beat em. My point is its not because their opponent is OP but because they as a player arent familiar enough with their opponent's class.

Sorcs are OP, they can stun me, dps, heal and more! Troopers are OP, they can stun me, dps heal and more! Warriors are OP, they can leap and dps, and shield and more! Smugglers are OP, they can shoot and sit behind a shield and heal and more! Yeah yeah, everyone is OP arent they? Nerf everyone? Curiously every single OP class, which in this case is EVERY class and AC in the game, fall in battle. No one is invincible, no one is unstoppable. Its just that YOU cannot stop them. I know it can be frustrating, but rather than flood the boards with nerf demands, which seems to be the main use of the pvp forums after general complaints and threats to unsub, you might consider the problem is not the game but YOUR knowledge of how to defeat the classes. My best suggestion if you genuinely want to improve, rather than complain, is to actually PLAY all FOUR classes, and even try all 8 ACs. Know your enemy. Know their strengths and weaknesses. If you think you're going to copy some spec online and insta smash everyone in a wz you have now come to the shocking realization that you are wrong. if you are willing to drop the chip on your shoulder and try to learn the game inside and out you will find your performance will dramatically improve. Know a class and AC in particular you think is unstoppable? Play them. Find out the awful truth when you die... alot, just like any other class and then learn the hard way what your weaknesses are. When you return to your main and find yourself facing that class/ac you will be surprised how well you know what they will do next, and how to defeat it. And always remember, you can't win em all. No one has ever made it to rank 60 valor without dying.

No one buys the tokens outright as their main method of obtaining the tokens. If you have almost enough tokens to buy a champ item but are off by 1 or 2, the purchase is a time saver. that's all.

I have to agree. 99% of the time qq against a class is really an admission of lack of skill or knowledge on the part of the qq-er.

best of all, new gear is on its way. I think ppl need to be hurried along or the gear divide will be absurd. note, tho, that anyone who has made BM within a day of patch were already VERY close to BM. NO ONE is going from 0 to 60 in a day. NO ONE. So save your judgemental nonsense as tho everyone who just hit BM didnt put in as much time or effort as you. Your elitism knows no bounds.

i agree, I think the ppl who complain about sorcs dont play one. They have no idea what its really like. Best bet is the complainers just arent very good at pvp. they think everyone but them are OP when they really just dont have the skillset yet.

say, other classes cc me, stun me, get behind shields, and generally have all sorts of tricks like yanking me around the room and mass stunning groups of players... the question here actually is why should we single out sorcs to be hobbled?

Ive never heard a more elitist post in my life. You A) erroneously classify yourself as "top tiered and skilled," --we'll be the judge of that. and B) so sorry that you don't get special gear making you unkillable because you started the game sooner than newcomers. in a word: tough. I applaud Bioware for making the game accessible to everyone, not just those of us here for the launch. Besides, if you're THAT much better and more skilled than others, it won't matter what gear your opponents are in -you'll out skill them, yeah? i think Bioware should limit rewards to 'top tier players" to non-gear related things like titles and mounts etc. Give someone special gear and the divide will become insurmountable and the qq will never end.
