  1. Ah... I hadn't noticed that. Thanks.
  2. Got any official reports to back up your numbers?... I didn't think so.
  3. Can I have your stuff? Elites are meant to be difficult, and there are a few of them that are harder than they should be based on where they are or what quest they're part of (Voss seems notorious for this). But for the most part they all seem soloable with the right mix of companions/tactics. I've got a 48 Imperial Sniper, and a bunch of alts in the 20s.
  4. Always better to make specific quests/suggestions than just saying "x sucks, please fix it". Features needed on the GTN: add the ability use search terms, without needing to select a category first separate moddable (orange) gear from from blue gear in the filter add the capability to search for armor for a specific slot (head, feet, etc.) add the ability to filter for a spefic stat type (cunning, willpower, etc.) retain the "quality" level searched between searches retain the last price you posted for the same item when creating new postings That's all I can think of at this moment. -edit- Updated list.
  5. I'd like something like this. Even the ability to save a friends list between characters would be great, as it stands now I have to manually add my friends to each character I have.
  6. Very good description. What I've noticed on these forums over the past few weeks is exactly what I observed on the WoW forums over an over again (and yes, to the same degree on several occasions). Did it ever have a negative impact on their subscriber numbers or relative success: nope.
  7. I don't object to the idea, but I'm curious: Do you guys actually look down at your keyboard when you play? Just wondering. I have a G15, and I very rarely ever do. That's why the only applet I run is LCDSirReal so I can check system performance (CPU/GPU temp, network traffic, volume level).
  8. I agree. You should re-post this with a more descriptive title in the Suggestion Box forum.
  9. Umm... no you didn't. I've was part of the first early access group, and have always had all settings to maximum on my 6 month old gaming PC. We never had high-res (ie: cutscene) textures in normal gameplay since release. I can't comment on the betas though. Hyperbole does no one one either side of the argument any good.
  10. Why not? The OP is sharing his opinion, and so is the guy saying he's not bored. He was polite about it, so what's the problem.
  11. Just happened to Google who posted a 25% gain over last year, but investors expected more.
  12. I fully support this. Walking around fleet with nameplates on is ridiculous.
  13. Yup. That was what I was going to say... and... oh, all done!
  14. BioWare/EA spent $200 TRILLION on this game? Wow! I knew EA was a big games publisher, but I didn't realize they have that much money.
  15. I tend to two-shot standards and one-shot weaks, so it doesn't make any sense to use on them as the shot's damage itself is pretty minimal.
  16. Well put, OP. I've played several MMOs over the years, including WoW off and (mostly) on for the past 6. I've had far more fun and have far fonder memories of my Imperial Agent already than I do of any of the 7 characters I've played to the cap in WoW.
  17. Haven't been to Illum, but I do get the odd screen flicker when travelling through the corridors between the main quadrants on Imperial Fleet. But then I started getting that on Tuesday before the patch. Otherwise, everything was working fine for me after patching last night. I deleted my ini file before launching the patch, as I had previously modified it. High AA works as well as it did forced through the ini, and otherwise the game played well and without issue.
  18. ^ This. I've been enjoying SWTOR quite a bit right now. That's why I subscribed. When I no longer do, I'll cancel.
  19. Depends on the armor level of the target. If it's a heavy armor target, Shatter Shot will have a more significant effect against it's defenses than lets say if it were a light-armor wearing Jedi. In general I only use Shatter Shot on elites, as even strongs don't tend to last long enough for it to be worth the GCD.
  20. Then please school us, oh great master. The fact of the matter is that people who like the game are more likely to spend their time playing it, and less likely to post on a forum than those who have issues with it. Check any other forum for any product, they're all dominated by complaints to one degree or another.
  21. ^ This. Forums are - as part of their very being - a place where people with extreme opinions tend to congregate. By definition this tends to make them the minority. As this is a game forum, people who really love the game are usually busy playing it, that leaves mostly the people who really don't like the game.
  22. So, you can see the future? REALLY?! I have so many things to ask you.
  23. Another templated rage-quite post, complete with "I wanted to love this game" first paragraph disclaimer. And a second post bump to boot. WINNER! Here's a tip: tell BioWare why you're leaving (email, cancellation form). Don't post it on the forums they don't read.
