  1. Though i agree not really useful in PvE coz it doesn'T actually buff all the skills we have. MC for example is still 30 ms. It has saved my skin a couple of times in some mobile fights where you have to move the boss though, like Grobb. Throw one, move in while GCD is on.
  2. Actually no more small interrupts is a good buff for our class especially in damage heavy phases. However it still could have more improvements. Just a couple of things with PvE TK Sages; There has ben countless brainstorming about new skills and new things for our class after 2.0 or minor changes. Lack of an execute has always been something that boggled my mind in our class. However, while there has been great ideas, they will probably be just something to consider for 3.0. For the moment; -Uninterruptable Mind Crush -Force Mend with no GCD -Higher RNG chance for momentums, especially during Mental Alacrity phases. Could really give us the QoL we are looking for. Sage dps is not in a bad place but it could use some improvement in combat and when under heavy pressure. Since Bioware seems to be removing most of the RNGs, probably to lift every class up to a number which is required for NiMM fights ( Come on they are removing RNGs with both guardian and scoundrels, no more failing Raptus challenge coz your guardian didn't get any procs ), we losing some RNG, at least in mental alacrity phase would be most welcome. All the best.
  3. Hello . I think i remember some of your posts before 2.0 came out, they were great reading material and awesome to improve our class. It's a matter of personal preferrence but i believe some min/maxing showed having a single crit mod is beneficial for telekinetics tree. More than that becomes dps loss in the long run. I just go power all the way, for some reason without any solid lead i don't think having crit is beneficial for a class with force potency and auto critting turbulences . Hope these help. All the best.
  4. Not sure but i damn love alacrity on my Telekinetics sage . 2 sounds more ideal but i believe min/maxers find 1 alacrity enhancements to be the highest dps. However i prefer to use 3, i just like to put a little more on those little burst windows and give myself a little edge for movement . Dps you lose is inferior and it really might make a difference in the long run with mental alacrity. Hope these help in any way.
  5. Those are some really good ideas but i would simply settle for some changes and removal of mirror specs at this moment.
  6. Would be nice to hear some insight about SWTORs future plans as well. Some dev response maybe, aside from class balance stuff coming with 2.6 ?
  7. With respect, TESO was a terrible game with a clunky engine and stupified questing (arrow fest full of hints). Not to mention overly simplified melee combat (tapping left and right doesn't give you different combos) along with even more retarded racial skill system (restrictive, telling races what skills to play with) with only 6 skills to click at a time. Graphics looked like minecraft with medium textures. With all that, i heard its going to be a P2P (sub based) game with 21$s a month. It had good story and strong lore behind it. Crafting felt nice with styles and whatnot. But these two aren't enough. I find myself bored to death after playing it for a day, beta still continues but i just don'T feel like playing at the moment. While i know most of these are subject to change and i was playing a beta, thank you, i have seen enough of that game. It's good though, increase the hype, let people go insane for it. That's gotta be fun to watch. Also this game is extremely different compared to TESO, this game should be more afraid of WoW's new expansion. There is Gul'dan, there is Grom Hellscream holy cow ! Not to mention the epic itemization with lots of tertiary stats to choose for your items. What is the endgame itemization in this game for melee dps classes right now ? Full surge ? That's right. *Sarcasm on* It makes the optimization really shine *Sarcasm off* . TESO is a different league, maybe it will pull some LoL players or some GW2 players into it. Or maybe some Wildstar players considering it also has a similar skill slot system. But SWTOR is a different game than that.
  8. Played TESO, bored to death, deeply disappointing. Not gonna comment anymore since this is really sad.
  9. http://www.torparse.com/a/548406/3 There ya go buddies .
  10. Don't get me wrong mate, but there ain't too many vanguard dps to support your claims and fight at your side to defend your class.
  11. Wildstar is a threat to GW2. For this game, TESO would be a bigger threat and ofc WoW which is actually coming up with a decent sized expansion pack again. I'm just hearingbad things about TESO really, people keep complaining its going to be a massive disappointment and a masterpiece of boredom. Gonna test it this weekend, we2ll see whats going on over there. However, If WoW doesn't screw Dreanor up it will trample this game and i'm already hearing very cool stuff about its stat changes. Sounds really good optimization, itemization and complexity wise. It'll probably be better than melee classes that stack only surge in their third slot for end game at the moment.
  12. 3.0 ? About time . My concerns are more about the gameplay and class mechanics themselves. Some needs to be adressed quickly while others are just optional ideas and features that i think would be cool. *Would be really cool, if the amount of RNG within class rotation mechanics are toned down a bit. *Would be really awesome if we had more different skills for PvP and PvE. *Would be really neat if we had closer numbers class balance wise. *Would be really epic if we had more skill trees to choose from. *And would be damn great if we got rid of the idea of putting 4 gunslingers as dps in a team coz they are just better than others. Accept it.
  13. Hello mate. Most of the high end gearing wants no crit rating at all, 0 crit rating (Maybe 1 crit mod is better on paper, might be worth testing) X-X-X ( hit-surge-alacrity #of enhancements ) Now i can advise you to; Play 4-6-1, 1 alacrity rest surge (%72,3 surge i think) but you might want to ask someone who plays balance (madness). I play telekinetics (lightning) with 4-4-3, 4 surge (%67,8), 3 alacrity (%,5,78 with talent) enhancements. Or maybe you'd prefer to play 4-5-2 which makes the best sense really. %70 is the soft cap for the surge and this'll give you some more alacrity. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=627405&page=48 Also this thread is invaluable in learning some more about optimizing your gear or rotation. Good people worked real hard on it, you should check it out from page 1. Hope these help. All the best.
  14. My comment did not target sages. http://www.torparse.com/statistics Here is somewhere you can get some insight.
  15. It's clear you guys don't play your game or you don't know anything about class balance to begin with.
  16. http://www.torparse.com/a/529638 3443.63 TK sage, 1 mil hp dummy, armor debuff, stimmed and adrenals. Could get better if i had the relics, i bought the boundless ages relic two weeks before the changes were put on Dulfy and my other relic is Underworld SA. I think i can push this to 3550 with a bit of luck and with 2x780 main stat and power relics . Edit: Gonna get this proper with ARM and do some editing on the post once i'm back.
  17. Alacrity nerf actually screwed a lot of things in game. I too believe alacrity was a stat very fitting for us TK sages, considering how slow our casting is. Nerfing the stat really changed its mechanics and gave us an entirely different result. Mdps atm only has one secondary stat to go for, surge, which goes way above the soft cap once you fully 78 your gear. Wonder how that will be when we get 81s with NiM DF+DP. Before the alacrity nerf, i remember some mdps classes also going for alacrity to get a higher and faster dps. Even sentinels argued if alacrity is a good stat for their end game optimization. At beta vanguards could see very high numbers. Hell Zen gives alacrity. I believe that is why right now classes are scattered and they are having difficulty balancing things up, because the initial setup relied a lot on alacrity with all its calculations. Two weeks before release, alacrity was nerfed to the ground. Even right now im using half surge half alacrity enhancements and actually getting good results. I'm really hoping in the next expansion they do the calculations a bit more carefully with internal testing and we will not see statistical screw ups like this time.
  18. I really wonder where they will take us PvE wise now. Since The Dread Master story is now behind us, they have to come up with something major. Galactic Starfighter was an awesome improvement but would be great to see it in PvE content . Anyway, would be nice to get an announcement soon about their future plans.
  19. I agree its easier to spot with sorcerer, but still never had problems managing TK Throw proc. I too wish we had a distinctive sound effect or a distinctive visual effect especially with TK wave, but it doesn'T happen .
  20. I've got a bad feeling about this, like as if they will take this seriously . Good sarcasm.
  21. A new expansion should include ; - Level cap raised to 70 ( or 60, depends how you want to do it. ) - A new chapter with at least three planets and a lot more voice acting. - New skill trees for all advanced classes ( or maybe you would want to voice act an entire new class. ) - New skills for each classes, making their rotation more playable with their new skills. - 2XNew warzones. - 2XNew operations about the three chapters we just played. - New crafting options up to 500. - New cartel market features. - A mini game like Pazaak or Pod Racing. These are only the tip of the iceberg. There is a lot more you have to think about in a major expansion pack. These digital expansions are awesome if you ask me. But if there is going to be a major expansion pack, i'd prefer Bioware slowly making way for it by releasing another digital expansion pack, raising level cap to 60, and then come up with something new according to that story and raise it to 70. Coz at this point, Bioware used all they had up their sleeve in game. We still got a year, maybe two for that major expansion pack. All the best.
  22. To me its the optimization and how awesome it is to be able to play the game without any issues with my nVidia 555M . Really great job on optimization. Especially PvP used to be impossible to play back in the day.
  23. New dummy features clearly show who needs buff and who doesn't. Guardians clearly are not within %5 of other classes. Buffing phase is not over.
