    Peeling in Warzones

Objective based PVP balance is different than small group deathmatch balance. Example: Sorc are powerful in something like Huttball, but are very weak in small group deathmatch.
  2. You can queue as a full team of 8. Thus you can have whatever balance you want. Solo queue at your own risk.
  3. Well they already failed at the color blind thing with all the red/green they use. But the doors could be black/white and then even if people were playing on 50s televisions they would be able to tell the difference.
  4. Developers always push healing capable classes towards healing, or only really focus their balancing on those specs. I am not sure why anyone thinks these devs would be different. If one really wanted to be the stealth damage dealer one should have rolled assasin/shadow.
  5. Obviously, you aren't getting a proc every 6 seconds. I was talking about his heat-to-damage calculations when PPA is on its ICD, hence why I said it is only 4.5 seconds (at max) when PPA is not benefiting you (compared to now).
  6. You need to read the patch notes then as armoring is removable (and holds the set-bonus). Not sure why you are hung up on social gear, as it is a small subset of PVE gear that doesn't come with any stats and there will be a smal subset of PVP gear that will be rank/valor restricted.
  7. No, because there is PVE gear with stats that you don't need any social rank for, just like there will be PVP gear which you don't need any rank for. Then there is special PVE gear that you need social for, and special PVP gear you need valor/ranking for. Fairly simple concept. Edit: But everyone will be wearing crit crafted orange gear for the augment slots, so only the stats will matter for both PVE and PVP gear.
  8. Mezs are 8 sec, standard stuns are 4 seconds, carbonize is 2.5 (3 with set), jarring strike knockdown is 3 sec, force push and spike knockdown is 2 sec. Knowing these durations, and mentally counting GCDs is part of the skill. No other class knows their ICDs and a lot of classes have them. PT Pyro must now deal with it. Utilizing auto-attack, thermal det, DFA (I understand this is a target of opportunity thing, but you can force a carbonize--> DFA) within that window will net you more damage than someone who doesn't, again raising the skill cap of the class. Your suggestions are: Showing the ICD (which no class gets) 100% proc (which dumbs down the class even more than it is) 6 second rail shot CD (see above) Only showing the ICD keeps the rotation more fluid, but it also lowers the skill cap.
  9. -1 I play an op and infiltrate capping was stupid. Edit: Although I wouldn't mind an improved radius and duration for infiltrate to make it a more meaningful utility in PVP.
  10. I can't wait, because I will be more often matched with and against better players, which is a more enjoyable experience for me. That is the biggest draw for me, all gear is just an endless treadmill anyways so it doesn't matter to me how it is acquired, I will get it.
  11. Healers already get credit for kills when they heal someone who gets credit. If you are not doing damage to players while a tank then you don't deserve anything because you are a terrible player.
  12. Social gear has no stats, so they are pretty much night and day. Not even sure where you are going with the PVE gear for PVP comms.
  13. I would personally still like to hear the laugh, not only for my amusement, but I also like an audio cue for the TA proc, especially now that I will be able to have 3 TAs as a healer.
  14. More predictable damage is preferred by good players, and this is what PT Pyro is getting with these changes. You will only have 3 GCDs (4.5 seconds as the other 1.5 will be the Rail Shot you use on proc) in which PPA will not benefit you, and you should be able to track 3 GCDs. Good PTs will utilize other abilities during the PPA ICD to manage heat and maximize dps. These changes are thought out to keep some fluidity in the rotation to make things interesting without too much random feast/famine scenarios. The changes are good because it actually raises the skillcap on PT Pyro.
  15. OP, you are the baddie if you need a gear advantage to win. Gear has always been easy to get in this game, just time consuming for good and bad players alike. Gear will still be easy to get, it just will be less time consuming (esp for good players).
  16. In 1.2, a ranged MS and armor debuff is huge. Also, mercs/sorcs can be lept to while trying to control mid, if your team doesn't get the ball, while snipers can pop CC immunity.
  17. Huttball is by far my favorite WZ atm, even on my Operative.

    Wy play a Ops?

It is obvious they want you to heal, what with ops being the only healer being buffed this patch, on top of the other healers being nerfed.
  19. Because nothing can or will change from now until 1.2. Door+butt=avoid.
  20. I would love this, but it won't happen because it would upset the PVE focused players who would get ganked (or their quest givers killed) in the low level zones by the stampeding horde going after the objectives.
  21. How did you let those cowards get the objectives in the first place?
  22. But then there is only one person in that advantageous position (assuming you pulled to a good spot) instead of 2. But really saving pull to get people out of fire they get pulled into is the best use of it.
  23. Merc/Commando healer is good everywhere, so I will go with that.
  24. Expertise protects the pve only and pvp only player from having to participate in the area that they have no interest in doing. Without it both sides would need to participate in both to stay competitive. It also slows down the rate of gearing (particularly PVE) to make content last longer. It is not going away so stop with these posts.
  25. Who cares if healers get more out of expertise, this is balanced by the fact that they get less from main stat and power. Healers aren't OP, if you think that you are bad. What is "OP" is healers healing other guarded healers if you don't mez/stun/interrupt them from free casting to heal that other guarded healer. L2Use teamwork.
