  1. Concealment/Scapper is a one trick pony. That trick is the opening rotation. That trick is powerful but it is not without counters, especially in a team environment. CC/Roots can disrupt the opener allowing the target to kite, which an operative has a hard time recovering from with no gap closer. Guarding/Taunting helps to mitigate the damage as well as turns the burst into much more manageable damage. Then you can heal the damage, because after the initial burst the sustained damage lower than other classes. It is funny when people complain that they have to use their CDs to beat Ops, yet for the Op to deal that kind of damage in a short period of time they are blowing CDs of their own.
  2. Really just the tanking medals need to be adjusted. And consumables should not give the healing medals.
  3. This. You can easily escape from an Op/Scoundrel. There is no shame in bravely advancing in the opposite direction. Also, whatever you can do to get the Op out of stealth do it as their opener is much more important than yours.

  5. Nah, Ops don't need anything in the top of the Concealment tree to be able to burst. Just being an operative gives them everything. /sarcasm
  6. If he killed your teammate before you could react then you need to improve, because it had to have taken at the bare minimum 2 GCDs and more likely took 3-4 (which is possible with crits), which means it took you over 4 seconds to react.
  7. Yet you still aren't addressing non-linear regen and other utility. If the burst is toned down, what would be the advantage of bringing a Concealment Op?
  8. Republic has Jedi Shadow which is the exact same AC as the Sith Assassin. I actually prefer throwing a big rock at someone than lighting. I think the whole "look at the purple lighting" is overrated.
  9. Except you are completely forgeting non-linear energy regen of the Op. Once they do their burst they are either forced to use the energy CD or output low damage. Concealment has burst, that is all it brings to the team. It doesn't have any other utility. Sure you can nerf the burst, then Concealment is left with nothing, but I guess that is what you want.
  10. I disagree, it should encourage you to spend more time in Ilum. Ilum needs a complete overhaul to be a somewhat interesting place that encourages PVP, but the buff doesn't need to be increased.
  11. Roll an assassin then. It doesn't take that long to level.
