  1. No. You mace him instead, scream ****, and run from the resteraunt babbling about giant cockroaches, mutated seabass, and dead bodies in the freezer. Far more entertaining than going to jail, and they have better drugs at the hospital. . Nope. You find out which crew had your bus last, you hunt them down. Kerlex them to a gurney, tape a saline solution over their heads with it set to 1 dps, and smirk evilly at them as they scream for help... (of course, if they are asleep when you do it, they wake up with a huge salt stain on their head... thats amusing too.) Thats very current events of you. That never works for me. Ever.
  2. Thanks for that robust and wonderful comment. You sir, are an intellect beyond comparison. Without your incrediably insightful posts, and concise language, most of us would be lost in a sea of complete ignorance. Thank you again, sir for your contribution to this thread.
  3. Grav shot. Grav Shot. Grav shot. Grav Shot. Grav shot. Grav shot. ...... >.> <.< Pretty much like it is now.
  4. Troll Point Breakdown: 2 Pages of Responses= 5 points. Lack of originality= -2 points. Lack of creativity in post= -1 points. Quick, concise, and clearly written= +1 point. 5. No no no.... If you are referring to several hours from now, you dont use soon. You say, sometime in the morning, or before the downtime is up, or another generic, vauge statement that implies more time than soon. The accepted definition used by humans that see sunlight, eat food not characterized by its "cheese nachoness.", and have actual social interaction with real live, flesh and blood human beings, refers to a very small increment of time. Now. Using the term soon doesnt actually depend on the big picture as you put it. It depends on the accepted increments of time. Since the accepted increments of time, are small (or else the term soon wouldnt be used), it correlates into minutes, not hours. Some Time today correlates into hours. Eventually correlates into days. Who knows is pretty much anything beyond a month.
  6. Back when I was your age, we had fourteen year downtimes. The hamsters had to be fed and watered. The dead ones cleared out of the servers. Sometimes the server rooms would be infested with mutated dust bunnies. Those were particularly nasty, especially if they were led by a Super Mutated Cockroach. Why I remember this one time, we must have battled an entire army over two servers. In the end, sixty four technicians lost their lives, seven gamers had to be hospitalized and the reserve cavalry had to be brought in. Ah... those were the days.
  7. Is that the Patented Soon, the Soon, or the actual accepted definition of soon. I mean I Ask, because Patented Soon could mean anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks. The Soon, used by developers everywhere actually refers to any time prior to the end of the calender year, and the accepted definition of soon, is around 10 minutes from now. Just asking.
  8. Yep. PvP balancing can have serious effects on pve. Just attempting to balance for both can give pve players hives as abilities are being constantly revamped with the idea that they cant be too "overpowered" in pvp. Case in point, wow has slowly degenerated over the years, pulling away from differing playstyles, to a very simplistic esport style game. This is due mostly to an attempt to balance pvp, and its effects on pve. Which also gave birth to the term FOTM.
  9. So, Im sitting here thinking. (It happens... once in a while.).... What could possibly make rated Warzones get pulled at the last second. And then it comes... a flash.... Dev 1: Ok. We having still having glitches with the rated warzones. The patch comes out tomorrow. I need a no shizzle assessment if it can be done or not in time for the patch. Dev 2: No can do. This one problem is apparently tied into thirty six other problems, all of which require us to manually debug fourty billion lines of code. Minimum estimate is around 2 weeks. Thats if all the stars align, cats and dogs live together, and ted stops eating my doritos. Dev 3: But... they're cool ranch. Dev 2: I know, I bought them. Dev 1: Focus people..... Cool ranch you said? Dev 2: Yep. --------------------------------- So what I really dont get though, is why this is such a major issue for some. It happens. Just like I was under the impression that increased xp for pvp was going to be in, and increased xp for flashpoints, and yadda yadda yadda. So... /shrug.... did I mention doritos?
  10. Benefit 1: New Power: Nag. Debuff, that saps the other players will to live. Benefit 2: New Ship Room: Man Cave. Only place in the galaxy where you can rid yourself of the Nag Buff.
  11. You do realize they were talking about the end of this game 2 years before it ever released. So... yeah..... We've heard this. Over. And over. And over. And over. We got it. You are unhappy. We understand, bioware has personally ruined your life. We get it... you arent ever coming back. Thanks for sharing, and we all hope things look up for you in the future.
  12. I have to agree with you. Im not overly thrilled with some of the things they did. But Im over all a little giddy about the entire patch as a whole. Its apparent they are putting effort and time into it, and trying to get things done right the first time. Over all, I think the developers should know. While some of us may not agree with everything that happens (I mean no one likes to be nerfed.) I like your game. I just wish you could put out more, faster.
  13. So people griped that ops were too easy. So Bioware made them harder. Now people are complaining about that. People griped that healers were op. So Bioware looked at healers, and reworked the healers. Now people are complaining about that. I keep seeing this continual pattern of people constantly complaining, getting what they want, and then complaining about that. Honestly, alot of forum users make no sense to me.
  14. Since we live on earth, and the common definition accepted by the whole of humanity for the term day is one 24 hour period..... I win.
  15. 1) I am not being mean. I am genuinely worried about you. 2) Reaching deeply into the huge grab bag of possibilities, does not mean its real. Watch how I do this: Ahem. Holy mother of llamas. The mayan long count calender ends on december 21. 2012. This must mean that time is ending, which would end the world, and all of the universe. THE WORLD IS ENDING!!! (which will spawn countless books, debate, and theory, as well as industry to support those that will be running in fear from the end of the world. ) Dont be that guy. (And yes, Im completely messing with you, although I really think your probably off on your hypothetical times.)
  16. Technincally you are wrong. Had they released that information at exactly midnight Tuesday morning, then yes, it would have been three days. As you can clearly see on the dev tracker, this was not the case. Thus, they have only given us 2 and one half days of notice. Clearly this is a major issue, and should be immediately redressed through at least fifty different thread creations, followed by a parade of dyed llamas, and then summed up succinctly by a speech from the Organized Society of Retired Stormtroopers Local 201. Im just sayin....
  17. Ok. Stop. Just... stop. Seriously bro. Go outside. See the sunshine. put your lightsaber back in the closet. Talk to some real live people, take a shower, smell a flower.... pet a llama.. something man... because reality and you are starting to go down seperate paths.
  18. If we went by the forums, everyone one had have a single ability. Tactical Nuke: Kills all players on server. Of course... then they would complain about server lag, or unresponsive buttons, or The UI isnt the right shade of violet, or......
  19. Bioware: We now announce a free gold bar to all subscribers. Forums: What??!? No silk bag to carry it in?
  20. Thats completely not true. Ive respecced, had the cost at 100k, Server reset, the cost stated it was 100k, but was free. Then if I went to respec again, the cost had dropped to 1800. So no, thats not how it works at all. The decay idea is incorrect.
