Impatient People and Bad Behavior

Two out of four is not a majority of the group. It makes sense that the kick works with 2 votes because stale mates are not useful particularly when a person is disconnected or afk without reason for example. But it doesn't make 2 out of 4 a majority.

Again do you have nothing batter to do but personally attack people on this forum? Nice how people make excuses for rudeness. As is stated the person complained they didn’t ask me to stop they complained. Take this elsewhere. No excuse for rude behavior and it’s people like you who put blame on people like me that are part of the problem.

 

*You* are also part of the problem and the impetus in this scenario. *You* could have and should have said at the start that you wanted to scavenge just like people are expected to say "is it ok to watch cutscenes" before everyone starts. You *should* know that people play for different reasons, whether it's social points or a simple speed run, and taken that into consideration before just being selfish and doing your own thing.

 

The fact that the majority wanted you out means *you* were in the wrong here, it doesn't matter what they wrote for a reason, everyone knows the reason and that's cuz *you* were the minority. They could have written "purple monkey dishwasher" and you'd be offended by that also.

 

You seem to think that you have no fault in any of this or anything else and it's always the fault of the other people. Would you have been ok with no reason at all? I doubt it since everything offends you.

 

And, again, without any sort of proof you're just slandering people and the saddest part is all the people that just believe you without even thinking of the other side of the story. You are trying to instigate another witch hunt and get people in trouble for whatever reason that offended you this time.

 

Reminds me of a thread a while back where the complainer was accusing another guild leader of flirting and destroying relationships, without proof, and, again, people just automatically sided with them and then when the accused party came to defend themselves it all became clear that the OP was just trying to get someone in trouble.

 

TL;DR - Even though witch-hunting is popular in society these days it's not ok to just automatically believe someone's story without considering there's another side.

You framing it as the "majority of the group" is disingenuous when you know darn well that the context is about the majority of VOTERS, of which the person being voted on does not participate. Literally everyone else here has understood that. But if you must "win" the point that no one is arguing, sure, "2 is not a majority of a 4 person group". Meanwhile, the rest of us are quite clear and agree that the majority of the people VOTING agreed to kick.

And just because you interpreted it differently or thought about it differently doesn't make you right to tell someone you disagree with to go die. Call me stupid for not seeing it your way, fine. The group is 4 people. That the vote kick works that way for reasons I explained twice already doesn't make the group 3 people. So the majority of the voters yes, the majority of the group no.

 

You may call it nitpicking but to me it's a significant difference and it's just being used as an excuse for otherwise poor behaviour. People have the power to abuse the vote kick system because only 3 people can actively vote but that doesn't excuse the behaviour around it.

The Op has, in a verbose way, pretty much nailed why I don't use pop up groups. I admit I only really have two personal horror stories. Twice was enough for me.

I do mind people going afk without explanation for example. That is a fair complaint. All they had to do was ask him politely and they didn't.

I've been kicked for reason of afk when my loading screen just takes longer than their did. As soon as I finished loading, said hi just as I'm being kicked. Devs need to fix this.

It's interesting that you would sit here and lambaste the person that called "Jew" as an insult and then turn around and IMNSHO say something that's worse than that insult, and then proceed to act like you're above people.

In six years I've called a couple of people idiots in the heat of discussions so I'm not squeaky clean but I've never actually said something as direct as this. Now it's off my bucket list. These players could politely ask. Instead, they removed group mate and writing offencive word. I'm so sorry that some people here do not understand what the problem is. The problem is that insults and moral abuse are considered normal. Especially if someone speed runs and fast CXP grinding. However, I want to ask. Why is CXP grind more important than materials grind? Just because it more important for someone's selfishness?

No he is absolutely correct. In a MM FP, if your going to hold people back because you want to sit and harvest everything in sight, then you will be kicked. The vote initiator was kinda a jerk by putting jew, but it is pretty damn selfish, in a master mode, to scavenge everything in site. They are not there for the sights in MM. If you want to harvest everything, do it solo, or even veteran.

 

Tell me something, did you even bother to ask if it was cool to harvest and hold up progress? Nah, bet you didn't. Ironically, it is PEOPLE like you Tsillah, that cause people to leave. Because the majority can enjoy their time, they have to be held up by a single person smelling the roses, and the sad thing is, you think your entitled to do it.

 

This is not a single player game, as much as some of you want it to be. Its bad enough we have to put up with this crap in veteran, but you come to expect it. But in a MM D7? which is long anyways? yeah I would have booted you instantly.
