Sorry, guys. But there's something ridiculous about PvP marauders at the moment. True, they step into the fight like lions. But the latest 15 secs later they'll die with this ludicrous "arrgghhh...." farting sound, without having done anything productive. :p Edited by Cretinus

They dont have self heals

They cannot stay in stealth forever

They will be usually focused IF there is no easier to kill class in the team

 

They aren't mercs. ;)

 

Hope this sheds some light on your dilemma.

 

On a positive side:

 

They are in muuch better position than they were prior to 5.0.

It's all about the utilities to make marauders beast mode. I've seen plenty of marauders tank full focus for like 10-20 seconds, with stun immunity. When it gets rough cloak h2f. Win.

 

Compare that to PT dps... ???

Marauder/sent can't heal while in stealth.

Need to use your DCDs more often I am woefully uder geared and still managed to face tank 6 people for 15 seconds or so by rotating my DCDs.

At least you guys can stealth out. Jugg/Guardian just gets eaten alive unless his team supports him. Thats just the dilemma of the warrior/knight class in general. We can deal decent damage, but due to the fact of not having any consistent damage mitigation, we just get eaten once our defensives are on CD.

 

Best you can do is hope for teammates to support you, manage your DCD's as effective as possible, watch your positioning. Storming headfirst into battle is mostly a bad decision.

They have Rebuke (20% DR) with WZ Adrenal (15% DR) on top of a natural 25%(ish) stock which puts you 60% which beings 20k crits down to 8k crits even with 8 people hitting you it would take 2 GCDs (3 secs) to kill some one with 128k HP and thats all burst damage. You would literally need 8 combat sents fully geared to kill you in 3 secs.

 

You know its coming prepare for it for christ sake.
