    PvP marauders

    Sorry, guys. But there's something ridiculous about PvP marauders at the moment. True, they step into the fight like lions. But the latest 15 secs later they'll die with this ludicrous "arrgghhh...." farting sound, without having done anything productive.
  2. That scenario of yours is a 1 vs 3 (mara vs jugg+merc+sniper), so what exactly were you expecting?

  4. Dude. It's pointless to open a topic with a question to Eric Musco & the Devs. They don't answer questions. They just don't. They never did.
  5. Merc have lost their FOTM-ness, DPS sorcs are still crap, healer sorcs are now average, the kiddie-melee train is as it was before.... snipers perhaps? Or is the game now balanced and all classes are equally strong? :confused:
  6. It's like 1 hour of actively playing + 6 hours of queueing to get that 1 hour.
  7. It seems that BW has designed GC progression as if queue times weren't an issue. They calculate 4 hours of hard PvEing for a couple of levels and take it as 4 hours of online gaming. But these 4 hours are actually 8-12 hours online because queue times are huuuuuge. If BW wanted to rescue this game, then they would calculate true online times for a GC level and not pretend that every minute online is already an active minute. Most time online is spent with queuing.
  8. I'd rather say that the only reason why not everyone sees them for how broken they are, is because they're too busy playing them.
  9. This ain't no fun anymore! Whole parties turtling from one red circle to the other and you don't even need to stack snipers to do this, one is enough. Get rid of this, BW. Urgently.
  10. I really don't want to pick on you, Icykill_. But the fact that you're EXTEMELY vocal in favour of engi-snipers and plasma probe throughout all these topics, doesn't mask the fact that you're more or less the only one defending them. So yes, we have loads of posts in favour of engi + plasma probe. But unfortunately, they all come from the same person. On the other hand, we have loads of posts from loads of different people asking for engi + plasma probe to be adapted.
  11. No. It's a preventive ability and not a killer counter one. Use it to have a small zone that the stealther will avoid, like e.g. around you so you see him coming, or around a node. Or use it when you think that a mara or a stealther will vanish infight to make his life difficult. That's what it's for. Not more.
  12. Are there any? Just asking cause apparently it's gone and has to be learned at the trainer again.
  13. This AoE thing needs to be adjusted, full stop. Just been to a WZ where an entranched sniper was able to control things almost on his own. There is no reason why this would be fine, sorry. BW needs to adjust this style asap. And BTW, when Lokath goes online - are we still going to have this crap?! It's going to be a horrible slow fest, I can't even imagine myself wanting to play it.
  14. So there's no basis for nerfs based on class stacking, unless this class is merc with electronet because they annoy you personally?! :confused: At least, you could try not to contradict yourself!
  15. Juggers are masters of dual life, surviving, coming back and stuff. That's what they do. That's who they are. If juggsters are to be buffed DPS wise, then I don't wanna have to kill them twice anymore. Then they'll have to accomodate with no second life, no guard etc. That's how it works. Either tank, or DPS. Not both.

I just don't understand why BW thinks that it's a great idea to go completely over board with such absurd styles like this one, or smash, or sorc healer gods etc. Sure, some people will do a fotm reroll, but loads of others will play less because they don't want to waste their time with futile attempts to fight the supermen of the month. At the end, these things won't increase profit, or the game's popularity, but rather urge people to unsub. :mad:
  17. Stop comparing the AoE slow to other classes' DCDs cause that's not what it is. If snipers need DCDs then for heaven's sake give them a shield, or an escape, or whatever. This AoE slow + DoT is obviously not a DCD, but an attacking utility. When several snipers plant this crap on the floor then one can go offline cause there's nothing left to do than to stand around or move like a turtle for the complete match, through the complete map.
  18. This AoE slow DoT thing needs to be adjusted. Snipers are stacking more and more and the complete ground is becoming a perma AoE slow DoT zone. Never mind where one's standing, one is always slowed by 70% without CD and eating perma DoTs. This is as "exciting" as smash was.

    DPS-Boy

    I just had it the other way round (well, sort of) on my merc. Mara is bursting me hard, so I pop reflective shield. Mara doesn't notice the shield, but then hey! Jugger-Boy is in my team. He comes to "help" and pushes mara away from me, making my shield to be completely in vain. Jugger-Boy then goes away to do some futile DPS on some sorc healer and leaves me alone with the mara who is back on me again.

    You have CCed the healer so that your group can kill the marauder? No. Cause DPS-Boy is in your team and he saw the red nameplate over the healer. A sign for him to DPS. Without asking any questions. You CCed the guardian and are halfways through capping the node? Nope. DPS-Boy is in your team. He will help out and DPS the guardian. DPS-Boy. He's a reliable DPS-only automat. In every situation. Better than a bot.
  21. Lightning sorcs need higher burst. Madness sorcs need higher sustained damage. Healer sorcs need something that lies between nothing and a nerf. /topic closed
  22. Dumb question: Why to bank the crates instead of opening them? As far as I remember they're not bound to legacy, are they?
