KotFE starts in 3636 BBY before the frozen in carbonite happens. So you've been with Quinn and your crew for the best part of SEVEN years. Then add on top of the the five years stint frozen... Oh and according to wooikeepidia Quinn was born in 3680 BBY What I'm going on...is that Darth Marr was born in 3702 BBY....he died in 3637 BBY (according to the Wiki) That puts him at age 65 when he dies...that's when I consider KotFE as starting, when Marr died. Then you get frozen for 5 years. So that would make it 3632 BBY when you get thawed from the carbonite. In the Encylopedia (the actual book, not online wiki) it lists Marr as being 62...so from the time of the Encyclopedia, three years have passed...he's 62 there and dies at 65. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Darth_Marr I'm figuring the current time after KoTET is around 3631 BBY. According to the Encyclopedia there is a 25 year age diff between Marr and Quinn. Marr was 22 when he joined the Dark Council which would have happened at 3680 BBY...it's a stated fact that he joined at 22. So if he was 22 in 3680...then how can Malavai be 25 years younger than Marr and be born in 3680? If the start of SWTOR is 3643 BBY and Marr is 62 at that time, that puts his date of birth at 3705 BBY...but it states in the Wiki that he was born in 3702 BBY. Also The Battle of Rishi is said to have taken place in 3638 http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Battle_of_Rishi So that puts Marr's age at 64. It feels right that about a year went by between Rishi until his death. Either way, these numbers are giving me a headache, it seems there is a discrepancy somewhere along the way. So...if Mal was born in 3680 BBY and the current time is now 3631 BBY That would put him at 49...which is close to 50, as Jenny said. Oy. My head lol. Mm yes, there appear to be some differences between the wookieepedia pages and encyclopedia. For my own research and use I tend to go with wookieepedia simply because that data is constantly evolving/expanding whereas my encyclopedia isn't, obviously, but it is a bit of a headache lol. Either way Quinn's aged quite a bit. I estimate my SW to be around 31 now (she was 18 when she started in 3643, in my HC), though in a way only 26 (yay for carbonite beauty slumbers?).. a bit of an age gap but hey, as long as his uhm... still functions as it should, and everything else, we're fine. At least, I hope they won't; knowing Bioware lately, they'd probably add a weird amount of detail to their faces and make them uncustomizable (hello, Lana!). As far as I'm concerned, Bioware should lose their "editing/making default companion models" privileges until they can figure out how to make decent looking customization kits for everyone. Besides, in the livestream, when they showed the slide picturing Quinn and Elara, I didn't notice either of them looking different. All the companions that returned in KotFE looked the same as they did in the livestream previews for them, and IMHO the classic uniform look is a good one for both Quinn and Elara, especially with the "choose your side" theme. It would be neat if they added a new customization kit for each returning companion though (as an option for people who want it), maybe give Quinn a few silver streaks and some wrinkles like Andronikos and Talos have. ^^ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I mean when we started the game she was a teenager or maybe young adult in school on Korriban. Infant contingency plan is still viable plus who knows, maybe people live longer in Star Wars land (like in Mass Effect how "humans are lucky to reach 150") or maybe BioWare just didn't think things through because Quinn in no way looks like he's pushing 50. He looks in his 30's at most. They also might have gone back and changed his age like they did with Theron. But in any of those scenarios...babies yay! (Quinn is also the only companion I remember that talks about children but doesn't talk about adopting them if you are an alien. He will impregnate you or die trying damnit!) He always seemed around 30 in the original game, which was plenty old enough considering warrior is supposed to be a youngin. Avianatorsparkma Posted January 29, 2017 Share Posted January 29, 2017 (edited) I am super happy that the irresisible, lovely and adorbale Malavai Quinn finally returns and that he will be available even for my republic alts. I mean he is by far the most gorgeous and charming male companion out of all (at least to me) and since I only played the warrior story line to get legendary status (not a fan of playing melee classes at all) it always made me kinda jealous to see a warrior on fleet with Quinn at his/her side. Finally getting Malavai Quinn for all of my alts will totally improve my game experience...it's like a dream coming true and for me it's the best thing of KOTET so far. I really hope they allow for some at least tiny flirt interactions with Malavai even for non warriors and even for male characters, though I'm not really expecting that. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to Quinn's return, hoping he will get a lot of screen time and I also have to admit that this is actually what keeps me subscribed, since I was already about to let my sub run out. Then things can get back to normal. My 2nd JUGG my DPS, Has put him on notice if he ever Betrays him again, He will have his spine pulled from his body, he may have to remind him of this, through some type of, pain therapy. My Marauder, the fierce feline Cathar warrior that he is, will toy with him, before he just eats him, like a slab of Treek's delicious BBQ Bantha ribs, That little Ewok can Cook.
