My Agent w/216 gear and Lana @ 31 healing, beg to differ...

I still have not been able to kill that damn thing...:rak_02:

What kind of Agent? Sniper or Operative. Either way the guy above me has the right advice. Also don't forget your heroic moment or the buffs/temp powers you earn along the way.

If you want to get the title "The One and Only", make sure to NOT click on any alliance support crates, nor loot yellow stuff, else you won't get it.

As I said, comp = Healer, you dps, call comp back when comp is in AoE, use taunt, if you have, to prevent your comp from dying, use heroic moment.

If s/he hasn't yet defeated the Exarchs, s/he shouldn't yet try for The One and Only achievement. It's better to first defeat the Exarchs with the buffs, and then only try for the achievement after you've got the fights down and need a greater challenge. The OP from the sound of it, isn't there yet.

I.... personally believe they are easy...

I am a JK-Guardian(DPS) and honestly...I didn't use the alliance buffs I just had my companion on healing and moved her out of aoe while killing the boss.

I would suggest to make sure your gear are ilvl 208 min before you try to solo them.

Per my experience, they are not hard just.. move out of aoe.

And if it's the NAR Shaddaa or Voss one, INTERRUPT.

Long slog through a Starfortress Heroic solo with none of the buffs active on my Powertech only to have the reward fail after killing the Exarch :(

Put in a ticket, got the 'Please submit as bug report, there's nothing we can do.' :'(

Haven't had the heart to go through it again.

I've been able to solo all the heroic SF with my assassin in a mixture of 190/208/216 gear with a companion rank of 17 (with all the buffs of course). I made this video for my friend to show him how I did it, since he was having trouble as well.

Granted, the gameplay is a little sloppy, but I never claimed to be a professional :p I believe it should show the basics to beating the exarch, which is just to avoid the big attacks they do. It's also the first time my companion died, right at the end. Normally, they don't. So just take that as a one off.

In this game things are only difficult in flashpoints when there are other people in the group...

Beating an exarch with an agent will be difficult, if you are dps, change to healer, that should help.

If you got to the exarch you have the skill to beat him, so you must be doing something wrong, agent's don't pull much aggro in dps so make sure you put your comp on passive when he's drawing aggro so he doesn't die.

I agree with the bolded, assuming the OP is talking about the final fight. The ones preceding it where you have to disable the sun reactor are actually harder because of the adds and some flaspoint-like mechanics. The final Exarch fight is easier than the last sun reactor fight, if you're doing right.

They not that hard. I solo one when the boss still have 49% health and still can kill him, and that time i just have most 208 gears, comp lv 25 but die when the boss down to 49% health, not unlock any alliance buffs yet and i play agent too. Take a while and kill him just in time when i only have around 200Hp left. And beside this boss fight more easier than in the last reactor room.

Also haven't felt that Exarch's have been hard, did my first one on my Sage healer (had the 4 buffs, but not any of the equipment you can find since didn't have any of the specialists at level 10 at that time) with a level 26 dps companion which I switched to tank whenever saw a champion enemy ahead and back to dps afterwards. Didn't feel at any point that it would be impossible to finish a fight.

Agent/Scoundrel strikes me as a tough AC to do the exarch in.

I'm a scoundrel and have been unable to do them. Admittedly, it's been a few months since I tried it so my infuence/gear is better now. I'm close to putting a gunslinger through KotFE and I have a feeling it's going to be much easier this time around.

I'm in general with the replies above. The Exarch fight is tedious rather than overtly hard. The Voss one is more interesting because he has a fairly meaty self-heal (no tank/heal combos against him, really), and I did him before the companion nerf, when they were more OP as healers than now (so generated more aggro) and they were bugged for defensive stats, meaning they were super squishy. It was my first time in a Heroic DSF, and I didn't bother researching anything. I still beat him. (Gunnery Commando).

I can solo the Exarch on a Lethality Operative (which is a somewhat less-than-optimal class) with, I think at the time Lana was about level 26 influence (and I can still do them now).

I spend an awful lot of time kiting, though, and I did have to read up on optimal rotation to get TO the Exarch. Got the One & Only achievement around the same time too so it is do-able. Maybe check Dulfy for class guides - and keep moving.
