I've been able to solo all the heroic SF with my assassin in a mixture of 190/208/216 gear with a companion rank of 17 (with all the buffs of course). I made this video for my friend to show him how I did it, since he was having trouble as well. Granted, the gameplay is a little sloppy, but I never claimed to be a professional I believe it should show the basics to beating the exarch, which is just to avoid the big attacks they do. It's also the first time my companion died, right at the end. Normally, they don't. So just take that as a one off.

If anyone thinks this game is going to die soon, I'd like to remind you we still have 2 more Star Wars movies to get through as well as the origin movies. I'm sure the hype from those movies will be enough to keep this game afloat until Episode 9 and beyond (provided the movies are good anyways). And SWG died because of that retarded a ss NGE (New Game Experience) update, which got released 6 months after they released a previous big update known as CU (Combat Update). They tried to make the game WoW (World of Warcraft), but why play SWG's WoW when I can actually play WoW, which had the superior gameplay. Seriously, if you didn't use their new UI because it sucked (straight up FPS controls), you could use the classic UI (what you have in SWTOR now) but your character would never be able to crit anything. Trooper land mines can one-shot people, but it's unrealistic for a LS to one-shot someone. SWG devs f ucked themselves and have no one else to blame for their stupidity, underhandedness, and callous remarks to the player base. And because of how they screwed SWG, I haven't owned a single Sony product since I quit in 2006. I'm still mad about everything that went down. So yea Sony, suck a big one. Sorry, I'll get off the soap box now.

But you said yourself, you can experience all the content already, so why even pay $5? If that was the case, they would lose money because millions are playing and not buying. They lose money. Simple fact is, they make more money going F2P; ie YOU PAY MORE than you would with a subscription. If they didn't, they wouldn't switch to this business model. So overall, players lose. There will always be exceptions like yourself who don't pay a dime and play. But for everyone one of you, how many more spend more than $15 month ($180 a year), to make this model a success when .50 a day would've been cheaper?

Tell me how much of the game you get to experience too. Do you get to do everything. And I mean everything, and get the same benefits as people that sub to that game or not? Because I garuantee that's not the case. For every LOTRO and DDO (still failures in my eyes) I can throw you a Age of Conan, Rift, and raise you a Star Trek Online.

Reminds me of a co-worker. I told her if she bought an HDMI cable, she could hook her laptop to her television and could watch movies/tv episodes from there. I told her if she went to Blockbuster (yea, I know right?) she could get a 6' cord for like 12 bucks. That's a hell of a lot cheaper than say Wal-Mart or Best Buy. She informs me that she can't afford a 12 dollar cord (ok, no big deal, right?) Two hours later, as she is leaving her shift, I see her pick out 2 DVD's from the 10 dollar discount bin and buy them. I mean, what do you do with people like that?

I like how they replaced puppet Yoda with the CG ones from the other 2 films, which is good, but then when Darth Maul get's cut in two and is falling down the shaft, they left it as the original mannequin model thing which you can tell is fake. Why couldn't they CG that as well to make it look better? BTW, loved the 3D effects. And the 3 ET's chilling in the Senate lol.
