What would make me quit: Another MMO with companions, or any game that resembles what SWTOR was between 2.0 and 3.0, with a few things from later expansions here and there, and the FP from 1.0. What would make me return if i left for good: A decent dye system with gear that isn't straight out of clown school, a combat system that is more about fun than about delaying progress, every activity in the game treated as equal, none of this X peasants vs Y master race, less gambling/flea market and more regular store CM, more content with higher quality and if at all possible more frequent new content, i'm fine waiting for content as long as i know i will get at least 4 updates for my playstyle each year, and less tinkering with stuff that is working fine.

Saying they're aiming for the PVP/Ops crowd is a stretch, they released 1 Op, with less modes than in the past and it took them over an year to do it, pvp just gets reskins of old maps, seasons last forever, ranked is not doing that well, it's not exactly an avalanche of content, if the FP weren't so disappointing storywise i'd say everyone is on equal footing, we are all getting less than we would like to.

There hasn't been specific companion story since vanilla, why would anyone think there will ever be more companion story? The only lore relevant companion is Lana, all others are just glorified npc. There are 40 vanilla companions, giving each of them only a couple of lines would cost as much as it does to voice everything in any other game, a possible solution would be to give each class an "official" companion, that is the only one that gets further development, but we all know how well that would go with the playerbase.

That undyeable grey patch in the jedi armour makes me very sad.

This is a way to give players more options, and since i'm suggesting it as apid option only those who are really interested would use it, and it is something that can be added easily, so nothing else will need to be neglected to add this. Your logic is flawed, B2P isn't a magical formula that makes them invest in the game, if they were investing in the game it would be doing better, one of KOTXX many problems was the lack of pve daily content, making heroics daily again when it's convenient for BW, after people asked so many times not to make them weekly was bound to backfire. You can get ESO for less than 15€ and GW2 for free, so B2P in itself isn't the solution, SWTOR already had the solution, in their case it was a CM that made a lot of money, they got greedy and ruined a good thing.

At worst you'd be unable to play for 4 months and then you would be able to play indefinetely, and i don't even think b2p is a good idea for this game.

I don't think b2p would add anything, at one point you had to pay for the game box, and the fist two expansions were pay only, since they will not have traditional expansions in the future they wouldn't have anything to generate new revenue, so it would be a very strange option. BW pricing is bizarre, black/black dye costs more than one month sub, and can only be used once, this on armour that has more than two colour channels. CM purchases should give you sub time, if i got some sub time from buying things on the CM i would buy more, that would give added value to more expensive stuff, if a weapon that costs 60€ gave 4 months of sub i would buy it, plus the 600 cc to unlock it in collections.

It would, but that's not happening, so this is an alternative that would benefit BW and that could be more attractive to them.

I would love to have Ashara as a companion for my jedi, same thing with Vector, i also would greatly enjoy Scourge as a companion for my sith. I would prefer the Vanilla versions over the KOTXX version because they have extra lines of dialog triggered by the part of the map they are that i enjoy a lot. These are assets that are already in the game, so this would be a relatively easy source of cc sales. I'm not a fan of the random aspect of packs i prefer to just buy the item i want directly.
