Get rid of carbonize... NOW

Carbonize is simply way too powerful. It allows mediocre players to pull off their pve rotation in a time window of 10.5 seconds (for triple pt) within 45 seconds.

 

It requires literally no skill because it's range is big enough to not fail, players also have to clump up in 4s so it's even more effective.

 

I am sick of the carbo meta.

Bringing anything without at least 1-2 carbonizes in 4s is stupid.

 

Increase carbonizes cooldown and make it tank only.

It's time to reintroduce tactics and coordination to team ranked.

Not sure if you saying it tongue in cheek, but you lost me at pve rotation.

I am always trolling a little, BUT.

It's simply the way it is. Triple carbonize allows you to derp off a burst-rotation without any coordination whatsoever, because noone can react when they're stunned.

double carb doesnt white bar thats what makes it so strong on top of the fact that its a hardstun needs a sorc static barrier lockout debuff and needs to build more resolve

The problem with carbonize only lies in 4v4 team ranked. Anything on top of a 4 second harstun that isn't a mezz is broken.

The amount of cc performed by multi carbo comps is just insane and needs a nerf

its a prob in all pvp works just as well in 8v8 its target cap is 8 ppl since the aoe changes to most aoe moves

it's seen as a problem in 4s because double carb is relatively easy to win with compared to other comps. It is not a problem in 8v8s because it is not (usually) a game winning ability/wombocombo.

Pretty much this.

Also teams with fewer carbonizes are always disadvantaged because they have less uptime -> they build up less pressure-> they might have to play more defensively

 

Currently carbonize is THE match determining value after skill differences.

Yes ik this doesn't diminish the fact that its just as effective in 8v8s only reason its viewed as a bigger issue in arena compared to 8v8 is that once you're dead you don't respawn till the round is done compared to 8v8 where u can respawn till the objectives are completed.

I think most players wouldn't miss carbo in regs as well
