aristrokratie
Carbonize is simply way too powerful. It allows mediocre players to pull off their pve rotation in a time window of 10.5 seconds (for triple pt) within 45 seconds. It requires literally no skill because it's range is big enough to not fail, players also have to clump up in 4s so it's even more effective. I am sick of the carbo meta. Bringing anything without at least 1-2 carbonizes in 4s is stupid. Increase carbonizes cooldown and make it tank only. It's time to reintroduce tactics and coordination to team ranked. aristrokratie
Not sure if you saying it tongue in cheek, but you lost me at pve rotation. I am always trolling a little, BUT. It's simply the way it is. Triple carbonize allows you to derp off a burst-rotation without any coordination whatsoever, because noone can react when they're stunned. LeglessChair
just don't stack... it is possible to beat double carb, although I admit it isn't easy Edited January 1, 2016 by LeglessChair
aristrokratie
If obe specific comp requires a **** lot more teamwork to win against then it is broken. Atm carbonize is the second biggest match determining value in 4s (right after huge skill disparities) Edited January 1, 2016 by aristrokratie

Lanzend
Really they just need to apply a basion type buff for carb/neural for 10 seconds so it cant be double stacked. PT/VG need it for anti-focus/peel. Edited January 2, 2016 by Lanzend

Rilok_Singz
just don't stack... it is possible to beat double carb, although I admit it isn't easy They have a pull so it's still pretty hard not to stack even as range classes. Cretinus
If your team has got a stealther who knows what to do other than just stare at his dmg meters, then carbonize won't pose much of a problem. Control -> profit.
Iona_Var
If you got a double carbonize, wouldn't that white bar you? And remember that pt's(unless it's a tank) can not stand being focused very well. Pt's are in a good spot right now so I think carbonize is fine how it is. Lalainnia
double carb doesnt white bar thats what makes it so strong on top of the fact that its a hardstun needs a sorc static barrier lockout debuff and needs to buuild more resolve

Anything on top of a 4 second harstun that isn't a mezz is broken. The amount of cc performed by multi carbo comps is just insane and needs a nerf

LeglessChair
its a prob in all pvp works just as well in 8v8 its target cap is 8 ppl since the aoe changes to most aoe moves it's seen as a problem in 4s because double carb is relatively easy to win with compared to other comps. It is not a problem in 8v8s because it is not (usually) a game winning ability/wombocombo. Edited January 2, 2016 by LeglessChair

Also teams with fewer carbonizes are always disadvantaged because they have less uptime -> they build up less pressure-> they might have to play more defensively Currently carbonize is THE match determining value after skill differences. Lalainnia
Yes ik this doesn't diminish the fact that its just as effective in 8v8s only reason its viewed as a bigger issue in arena compared to 8v8 is that once you're dead you don't respawn till the round is done compared to 8v8 where u can respawn till the objectives are completed.
