That could encourage even more PVPers to do more ranked. BW your rewards are a *********** joke, 4 months to came out with a freaking helmet? my door can come out with better stuff . I got an unknown call from a Twi'lek telling me the information about the season 2 rewards. I started to log in into my starbook on my iStar to look at these rewards I am a member of the Jedi order, Jedi Shadow specialist and got the rank 2700 we are dissepointed. I have fought for my people, defended the Republic against the slaughtering of the Empire, gave my life for my village and this is what i get? I was hoping for resources to maintain the village, food, mounts, glothes for the children, but instead i have to cut of my lekku to wear this helmet which will scare of the children living in the Amersu Village, Woman will run away from and don't whant an night with me anymore, man will think i will be crazy in this '' helmet '' .... Time spent on titles=5 minutes, only thing they had to think up was another title for top 3. Time spent on trophies=Probably half a day. Time spent on replica= Probably a day. The helmet= Probably a week or two at most. Grand total of 2 weeks worth of actually working on rewards.. See if they made an armor to go with the helmet I'd be pretty happy to be honest and I wouldn't care as much about how bad the rest of the stuff is. Then for top 3 I think a mount should of definitely been apart of being in the top 3 it's supposed to be significant, look at what gladiators got in WoW arena armored mount. Ranked never pops past the first few weeks of a season. Ranked is full of the most rude and egotistical people I have ever seen in the game as well. The prizes that were given away were far superior to the ones you've just posted, Bioware. players managed to give out unique items unobtainable anywhere else in the game? I'd love to know how they managed to do that? Look go to a real life compeition and compete, what do you get? yeah sometimes there's a cash prize but other times you get a trophey or a medal to show off. DarthRaika Posted August 8, 2014 Share Posted August 8, 2014 (edited) Haha I would be mad that I quit after 1500 on a few of my chars but I won't use the rewards on the chars I took higher than that anyway . Titles are rather worthless since I am not using a title other than Darth on any of my sith or a title other than captain on my scoundrel. 1600 is fine for tier 3 but then tier 2 should be 1400-1599. BW really screwed up on every level possible. I actually started back to leveling my char in ff14 again since I heard they have some decent pvp at max level (i'll believe it when I see it lol). Also going to check out Rift again since I used to love it. Without cross server then BW can't let you choose wz preference and so I only get a couple huttballs a week lately. They screwed ranked as well. I'll likely keep my sub for awhile but a few months ago I dropped from 80-120 a month in CC to $40 since they refused cross server or mixed faction changes but now I will stop spending anything on the CM. Speak with your wallet guys. I know other pvp'rs that buy CC to make credits so let us all just stop for awhile. I'm getting my credits through other means in the future . Because someone came up with these rewards, and someone else thought it was a good idea, and someone else approved it. You guys at Bioware, once one of the greatest gaming companies around, come across as complete and utter amateurs time and time again. Sad. That's what these rewards are. Sad. Master-Nala Posted August 8, 2014 Share Posted August 8, 2014 These rewards are very ho-hum, but honestly, I thought the S1 rewards sans the Rancor weren't much better. I don't even remember what I did with the armor set and weapon. I just missed the mark for top tier on my Shadow in Season 1, and I was disappointed. That said, I don't understand why PvP rewards aren't tailored to the activity from which they derive. Why not provide +41 Expertise crystals of a unique color, or at least something that is loosely tied to the PvP experience? I don't think mounts are a great reward given that they have no use in PvP gameplay, but I'm not sure these rewards make much sense either. I can't see these rewards as being over PvP friendly or desired, that said hutt ball as end game PvP for a galaxy supposedly at war isn't my idea of PvP. If I want to do that I head over to ESO where I can try and become the emperor as opposed to an all star hutt ball player. To me these results are rubbish and a clear example that BW doesn't care for PvP and while gimmick will be employed such as 500 conquest points just for sitting through GSF the experience is not such that PvPers deserve and falls far short of meaningful PvP. I'm a spacer... through and through... we get crap (as in NOTHING)... but... I do have to say, the rewards this season were completely LAUGHABLE. I literally sat in my chair and gave one of the biggest LOL's I have done in a while... Simply because... Bioware is now very obviously WAY OUT OF TOUCH with their PvP community. Stronghold rewards?!?! A lame title?? r-u-srs-bw!?!?! First, very few PvP'ers (don't read "ALL PvPers") are playing this game for the strongholds. They don't show off their stronghold much, I'm sure (I know when I PvP'd on the ground I could care less about what my "house" looked like to others). Second, that mask may be cool (or not - your choice), but really... a mask that people can't really even see (ok, that's a little relative - YOU HAVE TO LOOOOOK for it)? Clothing in this game is really all about looks... most hard core pvp'ers care mostly about stats, not looks (although looking good while you're kicking somebody's arse can be cool - it's not the priority). Last... that title... oh, that title... please. If I PvP'd for the rewards thinking I'd get a cool new mount that NOBODY HAD and that EVERYBODY COULD SEE... because IT STOOD OUT LIKE A SORE THUMB, I'd kinda be a little... ok, ya, a lot upset... and... I... might... just... stop... playing. You guys (whoever is calling the shots for that Austin dev team) blew it on this one - and I don't even spend time (no, really, look me up - it's been years, but I once did solely PvP) on the ground stuff...
