Been wanting to use a green color crystal since the game came out, but the yellow-ish green Bioware is using never looked good enough to me. I know there have been a thread about changing the green color in the past, but I guess getting a new green crystal, something like "viridian/dark green/derelict green" or whatever would be the next best thing. Spamfritter Posted March 22, 2013 Share Posted March 22, 2013 The current green crystal should be called "Green-Yellow" as it's too light. It fails to capture the coloring it should have based on the green sabers in the movies. Truly sad. They should fix the current green crystal to look right and offer variations as they did with purple via the Cartel Market. Or perhaps, fix the crystals and offer the old ones back to people after the fix as "Classic Green" or something like they did with armorings that changed appearances. I don't know if it is available on the GTN, but I got mine from the Rakh Ghoul Plague event last year. I think you could either get it as +41 power or ( like mine) +41 expertise. Gwena Posted March 29, 2013 Share Posted March 29, 2013 (edited) I'd love a darker green crystal too, I was so disappointed by the yellowy tinted green we have now. Funny thing: during a cutscene for one of my Consular's class quests, my lightsaber was bugged. As in, it was not my lightsaber! The hilt was totally different, and the crystal, instead of being my usual blue, was a beautiful non-yellow tinted green. It was also giving off too much light/glow, though. Pic: HERE (Warning: possibly minor spoilers for JC story on Voss.) Thanks to the ol' floating-weapons-after-cutscenes bug, I also got to see it for a moment out of cutscene, and it didn't have the extra glow. Maybe this color had issues with glow that they never got around to fixing? Here's hoping we see it eventually. Merwanor Posted June 2, 2013 Share Posted June 2, 2013 Adding a derelict green or veridian green would be a great addition, I really want the normal green lightsaber color and not the yellow tinted one. And adding it to the CM as a lvl 10 gem will make it more frequent than the normal colors.... As more people use CM crystals than normal ones. Currently there is no way to obtain new ones. A guildie sold his (+41 power) few months ago for 6 mil or so. And they aren't RE'able for a schematic.
