  1. To add to this, the model displays several odd shapes and odd shadows in the character selection menu on a female model (specifically body type 2). There are very visible angular shadows and jagged "lines" on the chest, especially on the breasts, which become very visable when the chestpiece is dyed a lighter color. Please fix this.
  2. Does anyone know if this has been resolved? I don't want to mess up my character's story be having the game assume I'ms till in the Alliance when I did everything in my power to rejoin the Republic and disband the Alliance for good.
  3. It doesn't appear to have been any update/change to this quest. I'm just hoping they fix it, or at the very least that it does not fudge up the coming storyline. My Trooper and my Jedi Knight both wanted to scrap the Alliance from day one and get back to the Republic. Now that we are finally there I don't want to be stuck with the Alliance, that's for sure.
  4. So, I just finished Chapter 9 of KotFE with my trooper. So far I've encountered Tano Vik, Yuun and M1-4X through the main expansion story and alliance recruitment missions. Tano Vik didn't rejoin me, but M1-4X and Yuun did. When I got M1-4X, I was mailed or granted through reward (can't remember exactly), the blaster rifle I had equiped him with before the expansion started. With Yuun, I didn't recieve any of the gear whatsoever he had equiped before I started the expansion. And for Tano Vik, the gear seems to be lost forever as well. I know it's been 5 years in game time, so yeah, characters may change their gear, but I kind of feel cheated out of the gear I had on my companions. In some cases I spent alot of time and ALOT of credits to get my companions to look the way I wanted. I really hoped that they would retain those items in the expansion... Or at least that they would be mailed to me so I could equip them after recruiting them. Does anyone know if this will be fixed or if I should just unequip all characters on my next characters and keep them in my cargo hold until I can re-equip them? (Which would then make the cutscene in chapter 2 of KotFE look ridiculus).
  5. Not really a big issue, but I thought I should mention it. On a few of my characters the armor dyes have stopped showing up in the character selection screen. For example, on my bounty hunter the armor shown in character selection is now matched to the chest-piece's original color instead of the dye that is used on the chest piece. The armor does look as it should in-game (with dye applied to chest and the other pieces matched to the chest), but not in the character selection screen.
  6. Bumping after a few months of nothing. I really, really, REALLY want the medium gray / medium gray dye. My Jedi knigh has been looking all wrong since Bioware ninja-changed the dye system and how it works with match color to chest-piece.
  7. With the new "fix" to the color matching system that Bioware has implemented my Jedi Guardian now looks less than great. I'm willing to buy or craft dyes, don't get me wrong, but I see no reason to keep the primary and secondary dyes from being used together. Also, I don't like the feeling of having the color of my armor be ninja changed by Bioware without anyone asking for the change. I spent quite a bit of credits on dyes to get the look I wanted, and I expect my character to look like I intended him to. For example, one problem with the new fix,; we have a primary medium gray and a secondary medium gray dye, but there is now no way of making a completely medium gray item (which was previously possible by combining primary or secondary dye chest piece and other items prior to this new "fix"). Also, what has now happened is that the color matching system overrides dyes in non-chestpiece items, which is just stupid. Why would we put dyes in items if they are just going to get overwritten by the color matching system. I litterally just got my character to look like I wanted when the dye system came out, and to now have it ruined by a retroactive "fix" just grinds my gears to the max. Please Bioware, either go back to the previous way color matching worked or let us combine primary and secondary dyes. At the very least give use a medium gray/medium gray dye which is craftable. Medium gray feels like a fairly common color that alot of people would want to use for their more 'neutral/non-extreme' looking characters. If you can give us a primary and a secondary medium gray dye you can certainly give us a combined medium gray for both secondary and primary.
  8. My main problem with this new "fix" is that color matching from a chestpience now overrides items with dye modules in them. It kind of defeats the purpose of having dyes if you cannot color match as well to get the exact look you want.
  9. Kashyyyk I loved the atmosphere, look and feel of it from the original KotOR game. The Kashyyyk Highlands music is also one of my favorites. But overal it would be great to see what has happened to Kashyyyk 300 or so years after Revan was there. Manaan I could also settle for Mon Calamari, but the point is: Water/Ocean planet. If Bioware wants to be creative and give us something new they should give us underwater exploration. The ocean floor could also be a visually fantastic experience. The Selkath were interesting and the kolto issue should still be a hot topic in the galaxy. Onderon/Dxun These two were favorites of mine from KotOR 2. I really liked the culture of Onderon and the twin planets (well, moon really) made for an interesting dynamic. Quarzite "Quarzite was a planet composed of crystalline caves and with a surface that was strained by strong atmospheric pressure, with the ability to crush starships and flatten beings." Basically the entire world would be huge sprawling crystal caves. Sounds great to me. Felucia Purely for the visual rush. Yavin 4 Jungles and ancient temples, what is not to like.
  10. With the changes to the dye system where the chestpiece now overrides the dyes in non-chestpiece items if you colormatch my Guardian now looks less than great. Please add a two color dye (preferably craftable like the other medium gray dyes) with 'primary medium gray / secondary medium gray' in the same slot. This would fix my problem somewhat, and I'm fairly sure alot of people would like a gray / gray dye.
  11. Instead of typing everything again I'll simply copy paste what I wrote in my bug report: After the most recent patch, in two of my items it seems as if the color dye I am using are no longer showing up correctly. I have a chestpiece that I have a 'secondary medium gray' dye slotted into it, which gives a brown jedi robe (default color for un-dyed primary) and a gray armor underneath (dyed secondary). That item is showing up as it should. I also have a pair or gloves and boots with two default colors each (white and blue). Previous to this bug I had equiped a 'primary medium gray' dye in both the boots and the gloves, which combined with my dyed chestpiece and the color matching system made my boots and gloves all gray (as in both the primary and secondary colors were turned gray). However, when I logged in now after the patch, my boots and gloves are no longer gray/gray. They are now brown/gray (primary and secondary). So the problem seems to be that my chestpiece primary color (which has no dye) is overriding the boot and glove primary (which both do have dyes). This obviously shouldn't be happening, so please fix it as soon as possible. Not sure if this is the exact same problem everyone else is having, but I'm pretty sure I dye color in primary should override a non-dye color (even if the non dye color is the chest piece part).
  12. Yes, it is time for this to get on the Cartel Market. Every other class got their character creation armor. The valiant Jedi armor just isn't the same. It is more akin to the Eradicator armor. The Sith Warrior got its own character creator armor after all. The Jedi knight should to.
  13. ... Where is my hood toggle Bioware? Where?! C'mon, this would be the perfect time for it. 2.1 - Customization.... but I still can't get my Jedi to look like he should, with his hood DOWN.
  14. Could you plese have a look in your inventory and tell us exactly what the armor is called. I like the look of it and would really like to get it for my guardian. Knowing its actual name would help alot.
  15. +1 Can't tell you how much money I have wasted buying items that didn't end up looking good when I used unify color, or how many chest pieces I would have loved to use but unfortunately had an ugly color to them.
  16. I would very much like to see it in the game. Some people argue that we already got the Valiant Jedi Armor Set, but in my opinion it looks alot worse than the character creation armor. The character creation armor really should get thrown onto the Cartel Market asap. However I would like for it to be Heavy armor or Adaptive armor (I mean it shares the same looks as some other heavy armor so it wouldn't make much sense to make it a medium armor). But the best option would of course be adaptive armor.
  17. Oh My Lord... Bioware, seriosly, give the vanguard the powertech version of the shoulder cannon. A resized version of an ugly COMMANDO blaster cannon isn't what should be on our shoulder. Please, I emplore you, please change it.The model and textures are already there in the game, just give us the same shoulder cannon as the Powertech. I really, really, REALLY hate the way the Vanguard shoulder cannon looks now. I don't use it simply because how bad it looks. And since the shoulder cannon is an 'always-use' ability (unlike most of the other classes' abilities), I and everyone else who cannot stand the aweful Vanguard shoulder cannon will be severely gimping themselves.
  18. I really don't understand what the Bioware guys were thinking when they decided that the vanguard should get a reactor on their shoulder, while the powertech got something that looks like an actual mobile rocket laucher (albeit on a smaller scale). I'm fine with the Powertech keeping their current shoulder cannon. Truth be told, I have a low level Powertech, and I'd rather him have that one as well once I level him up. All I ask is that my trooper can also look good when using the shoulder cannon. The one Vanguards get right now is just an eyesore. Please Bioware, please change it.
  19. In another thread I mentioned how someone at Bioware must have made a mistake. The Vanguard shoulder cannon just looks out of place on a trooper. I would much rather have the shoulder cannon that the Powertech has. It would look alot more appropriate for the trooper.
  20. And now that I have finally seen the shoulder cannon in action. It just sucks, visually speaking. The Powertech shoulder cannon looks soooooo much better. The odd thing is, the Powertech cannon looks like it would suit the Vanguard, and the Vanguard cannon looks like it would belong on a Powertech. I kind of think someone made a mistake when implementing the models and textures for the shoulder cannons. I really hope the look for the Vanguard shoulder cannon gets changed. Because as it is now, it just ruins playing the vanguard for me. Which is a shame, becuase I have really liked all other abilities on my vanguard main.
  21. Considering Troopers in SWTOR are part of the most elite special forces team in the entire Republic your point doesn't ring true. Money isn't a problem for them, and their gear would be top-notch. My point still stands though, the shoulder cannons look and feel like they have been mixed up. When looking at a Bounty Hunter armor, their armor and equipment is mostly rag-tag, random and mismatched, while the Trooper armor is usually more uniform, minimalistic and sleek. When I look at the current Vanguard shoulder cannon all I can think is how much more appropriate it would look on a bounty hunter. And vise versa for the Powertech shoulder cannon. Considering Bioware has always gone on about how important it is to them for the classes to have a unique look to them I'm very disappointed that something like this happened. It just feel really wrong and out of place every time my Vanguard pulls out his shoulder cannon. Brings me right out of the game and kills the immersion.
  22. Vanguard shoulder cannon As you can see, the entire aestetic just clashes with the attributes one associates with a star wars trooper. A bounty hunter on the other hand, I could see using a shoulder canon like that. Powertech shoulder cannon This was the best I could to grabbing some screencaps from a video. If someone has a better picture of the Powertech shoulder canon, feel free to post it. Either way, to me, the second one clearly looks a whole lot more suited for a trooper. Sleek, compact, military... as opposed to what vanguards have now, which looks like something one would build from things you find in a scrap yard. Please Bioware, switch the models of the vanguard and the powertech, or have both classes use thh ones used by powertech at the moment.
  23. Ok, so I finally got to lvl 51 and got to try out the Shoulder canon ability for my vanguard. After loading the shoulder canon and using it on a mob my immediate first thought was "Well, I'm never using that god-awful looking thing again". Seriously, it clashes with everything that is a trooper. It looks put together from scraps, rusty and just plain not 'trooper-y'. It's almost as if it wasn't made to fit that class... So I though, "Wait, maybe there has been some sort of mistake"... I've seen a video with a Powertech shoulder canon, which looks sleek, simple, functional and and 'trooper-y'. This really have me wondering if someone at Bioware made a mistake in placing the right model and textures on the right class. The vanguard shoulder canon clearly looks alot more fited for a bounty hunter and the powertech shoulder canon looks a whole lot more suited for a trooper. I can't be the only one who has noticed this. I really hope that this is a mistake and that it will be fixed soon. If not, then sorry, I won't be using the shoulder cannon at all. I'm sure I'll gimp myself by doing so, but I just can't stand that terrebly ugly thing breaking up the look of my character that I have worked for a long time to get right. Please Bioware, change the shoulder canon for vanguards.
  24. I have only seen the shoulder cannon in some videos from the Test server, so I can't speak from my own experience, but what I saw definately didn't feel or look good. The trooper should be all about his blaster and maybe a few grenades thrown in there.... not some stupid predator/war machine shoulder thingy. If I wanted shoulder/wrist/leg mounted weapons I would play a bounty hunter (which I do as well, but the classes should be different from one another, that's what I'm saying). Rocket launcher would be fine, and appropriate, or just have the rockets fire from the rifle just like everything else is. Just don't break off the look of my sweet armor with some odd shoulder cannon that appears out of nowhere. Please.
  25. I've actually grown to like the backpacks on my trooper and on all his companions. Makes sence that he would need somewhere to store energy cells, a 'motor/engine' for all his suit functions, grenades, rations, mission related gear, compressed air supply for when he needs to seal off the suit etc etc..
