So I started a VPN. I changed the location to Las Vegas. An update was downloaded, and then I logged out. I swapped back to my default (no VPN) location in the Midwest. Problem resolved. So they have a server out there that does not have the correct update.

When are they going to fix this issue? This is ridiculous.

I have had that same auto-download that caused it to be fixed. The next day another auto download, then broken. They have issues.

Also, when I leave a character to select another. I get the same message square in the middle of the screen. Yet I can still select and log into another character.

Update: So oddly enough, I found when I was entering a help ticket on the first screen before you enter a character. Even though the error message was there, I could still create a ticket. Well the error message went away and I could log in. But I get this error message every time, that my version does not match. Since I have reinstalled fresh, I believe this issue must be server side.

Second I have completely uninstalled, Reinstalled the game from scratch. Then reconfigured all my settings. This is a massive pain in the patootie. So now I am getting this error constantly again.... after I first re-installed I could get in and reset all my settings. I am NOT DOING THAT AGAIN!!! I will unsubscribe. And I have been a sub since the game was in BETA. Check my account. I have a Masters in Computer Science, I work as a SR Datacenter Systems administrator. This kind of error is not acceptable. I agree, I have been a player since Beta and a subscriber since the beginning. The changes that 7.0 brought are for who? The game is a mess. I have unsubscribed for the first time ever. This game is no longer enjoyable, it is mostly frustration. And I know most of that is I play mostly a healer. My healer I have played to 80 has all 322 blue gear or better and healing is horrible. It is half what it used to be. Then on top of that a bunch of cool downs and the aggro dump are gone. imagine what happens when your in a group that does not have a tank that can taunt and you now do not have a way of dumping aggro or even healing yourself effectively. Several Master Mode flashpoints are not complete-able, and people look at me for the reason.

I have been a subscriber since Beta and played since then. I don't have time to play 8 hours per day. I am a casual gamer that usually gets on only on weekends and even then only for 4 hours. The changes, or I should say destruction of character abilities is very disappointing. Gear set point bonuses gone, cool downs (mostly) gone. Item bonuses (loved them) gone. This game should not be going the direction of other games, this game is popular to certain gamer's because it is not those other games. For the first time since this game launched I have canceled my subscription. I play mostly healer all the time, my healing ability have been slashed in half. I know I am 80 and don't have max gear yet, but this is ridiculous. This game is now more frustration than enjoyment. I am Done!

The community has found that changing your PC's date back one day fixes the logon issues. So I tried it and it does. Now, I must say, I work as a Data Center Administrator. I have a Masters in Computer Science, if that workaround on your customers side resolves the issue, there must be an expired certificate or some error in your system that does not accept said certificates based on time. Now if you can please make this error, but just the opposite because I would rather set my computer in the future and get tomorrows lottery numbers and win big.... I promise to share. Joking aside: Also, all the forum posts show they have last been created 7 hour in the future (before my pc change) and my location is correct in the forum settings.

I seen this on the Server Specific forums that others were setting their PC's date manually back one day and they could then login. I work as a Data Center administrator. You guys have an expired certificate or something messed up time wise. I tried it, and it worked. Now my computer is one day behind me.....for now. Also I noticed (before this change) that all the forum posts show in the future 7 hours. Do you guys need some real IT help there?

Every single update lately I get an unspecified error when launching. I have to: - Open-up 'Task Manager' and then find 'Processes' - From there, just 'End Process' on anything that says 'BitRaider' and it is not my AV as it does it with on, off or uninstalled. The simple problem is Bitraider is running and some bit of code can't handle it already running when the launcher is started. There should be a simple fix for this.

I remember when it was announced that Hard Mode Bonus Boss's would be 100% drop for Stronghold Decos. Now they are gone without notice. When are they getting added back to the Master Mode Bonus bosses. Just did the Cademimu Bonus boss and no deco. (love the missiles) That is about the 10th time with nothing.

I get it this immediate crash if I select any character that is not the last one I logged into. That is only on the initial login. After that, I can select another. Or if I right click on the screen. Win10 and also after a Win10 update.

You are exactly right here. As the game leveling has been accelerated, or with end game character tokens, completely skipped. So new players do not learn how to play their character. How about this one, (and I have been playing this game since Beta) Jindo Krey fight in False Emporer. Seems the lazy programmers at Bioware have not increased Jindo's Shield. So in it is easily shot through and causes the ship to glitch and no longer come forward.....so it can be fired on to reduce the ship buff. in Tactical mode, the team can power through it, but in Harder modes, it is a wipe every time. I usually tell the group a second time after the first wipe that they cannot DPS when his shield is up. This is because the teams at Bioware have not taken the time from making cartel items, to increase his shield and make this boss stop glitching and causing a wipe. That is why I have been boycotting cartel items. Fix the game and I will reconsider. :mad:

I have 44x 70's on Harbinger, and 6 on Ebon Hawk. Now I only play 6 on each server. One Tank, One Healer and one DPS on each faction. The rest are idle. I am not buying gear for them. I know I am spending less. I enjoy playing alts. With Legacy Gear it is not so bad to gear them. But ginding out CxP levels for each and everyone is not fun. Knowing that the gear I get is going to be sub-par compared to the ones I have higher CxP on makes me not want to play them. I don't always have the option to do Operations, My gaming time is not consistent with the great majority of people that do OPS and other. Instead, I am left with FP's or PVP for group content.

YES, this is great! From Patch notes: "\New mount speed Legacy Perks are available for purchase, Speeder Piloting 4 and Speeder Piloting 5. They increase mounted speed by 120% and 130% respectively."

In the other similar MMO games I play, this stat Bioware has lovingly called Command Level is always what would be equivalent to a Legacy Stat. Once your Character gets to end game level, all further stats add to this pool. In this game it is per character. That has effectively killed Alternate Characters and ultimately Cartel Market purchases. Bioware Consider revising this, even if it is a Legacy stat per class. I am positive everyone here that may have several of a specific class is now only playing one of them because of this. As result game enjoyment is down, and Cartel purchases are down. Altisim (multiple characters) = enjoyment in the game, variety. My 3cartel coins

You likely have a Main Hand hilt in it. That makes it only Main hand. Remove that hilt and you are then ok.
