Chessrook
Ladies and Gentlemen, there is a queue to get into The Ebon Hawk server. When was the last time we had a queue? This is a good thing! Until we have the hordes of players screaming about how they want to play now, and this queue is horrible, and blah blah blah.
Natareus
What is this "queue" you speak of? I thought they were wiped of the galaxy a while ago. But on a more serious note, this is a good sign. I haven't seen one of these since the first week of SWTOR.
Gritten
I just said in guild chat I had to hit the forums. I wanted to see if the rage monkeys that were screaming about transfers and screaming about this and that and the other were now here screaming about queues. Yeah, with that said not too sure if anyone else is going to fatman/ebon/bastion. Ebon hawk has a queue at the moment, fatman/bast at very heavy, probably queue out before the end of the night. While the rest of the transfers have to take place to see who might move out of these servers back to mains, and then we can see how this all settles. But the way it looks atm unless they've got more cap to open think this is it. -when all the moves shake out, I start to wonder what weekends are going to look like. viewtifuldee
No! A queue! More servers now! I'm kidding. I'm currently waiting in a queue. It's a welcome sight after months of playing on a server with about 10 to 20 people total on the server at any given time. Nice job, Bioware. Sincerely. P.S. Isn't it kind of funny that the game's RP server (which is usually the lightest server in most games) is currently the most loaded at the moment.? Gannerstalack
This was fine for Beta and my pre launch bonus time but it is not OK now. I don't care if the ELUA says they can put me in a queue I will not pay for a game that I can't play. With all the crap SOE pulled over my tenure with EQ2 they did not put me in to a queue. Might be funny but I love the feeling!
JonathanCP
I wonder... how do you complain you have waited 20 minutes when you enter a RP server? "sorry friends, I was delayed during the docking of my ship?" "Sorry friends, this lady in NarShadaa's cantina was just to good for me to join the raid.... oops... I mean... the killing of our most dangerous enemy?"
istvana
I totally disagree. Queues are NOT a good thing. Having to wait in line and take a number to get a quest mob or a resource node is not a good thing. Having 50 people after the same mobs and chests in a very small Black Hole area is not a good thing. Having 5 roleplaying servers become moribund if not dead and one become overcrowded is not a good thing. Five into one is simply ridiculous. Having two or even three desitnation servers would have spread the population out a lot better. The developers want to kill most of the servers - within 3 months they will merge the now very low-pop servers or just eliminate them and force-transfer the survivors. Ratatooey
I disagree. Waiting in a queue is not a good sign or acceptable. I want another option than Ebon Hawke if this is what it's going to be like

I want another option than Ebon Hawke if this is what it's going to be like I totally concur. If I am forced to wait to play nightly, I can easily take my money back to the ever-loving arms of Blizzard. At least they don't make me queue. And they have a barbershop... and chat bubbles... and, wait for it, you can sit in a chair. Bioware, mistake after mistake.

A server with a lot of people to play with is one thing. Waiting 30 mins to log in, that's just silly. Don't play semantics.

If only those people could somehow join together to do their dailies. If BW wants to keep this up, they should invent some way to start up a different instance of the same area when the first one gets full.

A small queue I don't think would really bother people. When fatman had queues the last few weeks on the weekends it was at most 2-5 minutes (when it said 10 minutes), which is acceptable. When a RP server is hitting a queue of 5-10 minutes (25 listed) on a wednesday, I do somewhat wonder how the weekends are going to be after all these mergers get said and done. Veluthurk
Oh em gee, all the buzz kill. Now for a dose of reality. Like anything new and shiny the gloss will wear off and things will calm down a bit. I don't suspect there will be much of a queue in a week. Sheesh. ...and I am on Ebon Hawk.

criminalheretic
HAHA WOO!!!!!!!!! I knew it, now they complain about BUSY SERVERS!!!!! Wooohooo!!! hahahaaa Yes, they do. People complain (and rightly so) about waiting. If the choices are no wait to log in, and then wait forever for a PVP queue. Or wait forever to log in, no wait for PVP, and wait forever for world spawns. Both scenarios involve people wanting to play their game, and not being able to. No one should have even been added to the high pop servers, they should have taken the serves that peak at standard, and added the servers that peak at light to them. ProsaicProse
Hai Bioware. Can you raise the server cap on my new RP server please? In all honestly, seems like RP is booming in there. Edited June 14, 2012 by ProsaicProse

Hambunctious
Like with everything else BW does, they go overboard with the number of transfers to a single server. I'm not entirely sure they can do simple addition math. That's as bad as them opening 50 new servers just after launch when the original servers had just a 10 minute queue time. Hello BW, the numbers didn't support adding that many plus the ones you added after that. I feel a disturbance in the common sense field.
