This is EXACTLY what Blizzard has done on their WoW website every April 1st since 2005. And LOTRO, and DDO, and COH and Gemstone (way older than WOW) April Fools Jokes on MMOS is not a new thing. I could maybe believe the oil bath for the droid, like in A New Hope that C-3PO had got. Playing the old Super NES Star Wars game on there would have been cool. I actually thought cool maybe my droid would stop staying the same few garbage lines every time I returned to the ship and then like everyone else I realized it was an April Fools joke. But if BioWare was to do something like this concept (e.g. Mini-Game) it would be nice to have the ability to tune out some of the droid garbage.
