Server merges are last resort, I know that if I loose my names, im back to LOTRO. My character names are important to me and the character I play. I don't care to have "joebob" character names. And god knows i hate the Anykyn Skiwa1ker bs.

Back in my day, I played Pool of Radiance and Curse of the Azure Bonds:P Then we had BBS games, MajorMud, Tradewars ande Red Dragon Inn. Then, they had the first mmo I ever played, Gemstone. We had tro type everything out, Look w, go west, att 1st rat, att 2nd rat, skin 1st rat, skin 2nd rat, look n, go north. God forbid you werent a great typest. Those games, fluff was eveything. People paid RL money for specific decriptions of special items. Ist graphical multiplayer game was NWN. Then City of heroes. I love this game:P

Actually, Bioware has said they have kept the full development crew. That is kinda the point with this game, they kept origional crew, keeps dev time up, and hopefully allows them to get stuff out faster, and they seem to be doing that. And where have you seen anything about people leaving?

Funny thing about forums. Everyone seems to think they speak for everyone. BW said they are coming, they have to work things out. Either be patient or not. But considering SWTOR has more subs than most games I think they are fine, and i really don't think you speak for everyone

I think they are bound to legacy. Also, its for alts, and some people may level alts at different speeds. They may be useless to you, but not everyone.

I really don't think BW is trying to take down WOW. It would be near impossible, sadly, for a story-based pve-centric game to take down a game like WOW anytime soon. Expansions take a lot cause of VO, so true xpacs prolly will be big deals, and rare. I really don't think that any game really is designed as WOW killers. Hell, WOW isn't even the origional MMO.

Two things: First of all, If this is your attitude about looking for info, "I don't look at the front page" Don't ever leave mommies house, power companies will just shut off ya power, internet will turn off service, and collegeswill drop you, they don't care if you say "I didnt know." Most of the real world letsya know on websites or by phone or whatever. Not getting the bill is no excuse to them. Second: If you already leaving, theres the door, don't let it hit ya backside. I am so sick of Guild wars, and I don't even know anything about it. Its like wow, I don't know anything about it, but all the leet players and wow kids have convinced me to never try it.

I play thisgameto have fun, chat with people occasionally, etc. I am on a pve server, Hyperspace Cannon. The tagging exploit was used a lot here during the event. Personally, I abhor pvp. Avoid it like a plague. If this kinda stuff ever happened on my server, I would be gone. Most on the pve servers are prolly much like me. I like thye idea of living events, coh had em, and they were awesome. But the idea of high levels murdering lowbies with the thought this is a living game is just bad. Not sure why some people consider this fun, but hey. Just keep it to pvp servers and stop trying to turn my pvp flag on.

You do realize that they have different teams that do stuff right? Some animator prolly spent a few hours making a pet as fun, and the powers that be added em. Bug hunters, programmers and animators are different people. I sure would hate some animator fixing a bug, or rebalancing classes. BW has a lot of people working on this, and bugs arent fixed overnight. Some of us like fluff, tho i think someone didn't think the rakghoul pets thru. And not all players are mad , i like this game so much i have two accounts, and aint plannin on going anywhere.

Seriously, Bioware to GM.... GM is a Blue Chip stock. They go down, and well they candrag the economy with em. Kinda did, as a matter of fact. Bioware, a small game Corp, if they go down, who cares. The govt would not care about BW in the least. Secondly, read the EULA. Gameplay may change, it says that. You would have no legal ground to stand on, cause to play, you agree to that. And have you ever played MMO's? The nerfs/rebalancing they did was normal. Hell, I played COH during Stateman's rule (Cryptic) and his vision brought HUGE nerfs, destroyed tanking, wiped out damage for scrappers, all endedup being rebalanced. You clearly have no clue. If you don't like the game, either show you can do better or go away.

My thoughts exactly. I find it hard to take anyone seriously that types like this. I understand internet shorthand in tweets, texts anmd chat, but in a forum?? Anyway, to OP: Forums do not make up a cross section of real players. Most players dont read forums, and even less reply to them. So forum polls arent real accurate. To the person that thinks non-forum users arent educated enough to vote, REALLY? If you think that, I think you don't have a valid opinion, as you clearly are talking out your butt. I know my roommate, with hates reading the forums, and he probably way smarter than most. Just a thought, engage brain before typing, makes you look less a fool.

Some of us like Legacy. Its fun things to play with. I just hit Legacy 7 tonite. Saving my credits for the repair droid for my ship, that will give me the crafting bonuses for ship droid. I wouldlikethe companion dance even better if it lasted longer or could do clubdance. But to unilaterally say its useless, not reaaly true. Its useless to YOU, mebbe, but im sure yu like the buffs ya can get:)

I have a level 50 Arsenal merc, with a few points in pyro and healing. I don't see a problem. I still can back up heal when i need to, and the tracer missile nerf really isnt bad. Just adapted to the changes and moved on. I may not be happy with the DFA reduction, but I can understand it. Anyone who didnt see the BH nerfs coming were blind. Before, my BH could pretty much deal with whatever came my way with Mako healing me. Now I have to be a tad more careful with what I attack. TBH, ragequitting over nerfs is kinda silly. When things get nerfed, somewhere down the line, they might get readjusted. Iveseen it happen in LOTRO and COH. And the changes don't seem overly drastic to me.

howso? I am a altiholic, two accounts (wish i had the time to get the other to legacy 6) full of characters. My main account is legacy 6, almost 7, with a 50, then a 25, 2 18s, and randoms, and my other(rep) is 32, 28, 27, 24, and other randoms. I feel i am getting plenty out of legacy (loved making my families) just wish i had a few others at least done with chap 1:P

Ya know, regarding the buttons-on-bar thing, I just don't get it. I have a level 50 merc and have no problems with placing powers on my bars, and I have the cyborg scan and the companion dance. No power is not on one of teh 4bars, with room for 3 types of medpacks, and reflex booster. I still have a few spaces for mission items, tho ya don'tneed to do that now. I even have everything arranged in an "obvious usage arrangement." I also love the companion dance:P Its fun, and can be clicked while you are moving for a funny effect:P I do wish I could make Mako, or any of my female companions, do clubdance, but who knows what they may add later. I gotta say, watching Qyzen doing the companion dance its hilarious! Of course he always yanks his techblade out when the dance is done as if to say "Do that again and you may regret it"

They can ASSUME. Unless they have constant trackers, and they can spend the manpower to datamine for every player that has all the codexes, they can't really know. And I know some people will say it doesnt matter, just award it, if they did that, there would be a group that would start yelling that they should be allowed to earn it, or be mad that others were just given the title. Ive seen this in LOTRO and COH, and it caused a serious uproar.

Might be frustrating, but its par for the course with MMOS. If there is a badge/title/deed where ya need to kill some random mob, and it is bugged, once the game fixes it, you have to kill again. They have no idea if you actually killed it or not, so they can't really go back and do it retroactivly, unless they just give to everyone, and that would cause just as much ************ from the people who really earned it. They are kinda damned if they do,damned if they don't.

LOTRO had issues, not many, but they had em. The whole point of the scented candles joke was because the game went down for days after a patch. So many complained, they tried to appease with the candles. Just like here, there was a s****storm, and they never offered any thing again. Hell, when MoM came out there were huge issues. During SoA era, they had to completely redo Angmar, it was way too hard. They have had plenty of issues. Don't even get me started on COH, Jack Emmert almost killed that game with his "vision." And of course there was ED. That ended up kinda cool, but when it was released, the fans went nuts. Most of us adapted, and ended up liking it. These devs are no different from any other. They are human, they make mistakes, then they fix said mistakes.

The thing that's funny, almost every game has had these hiccups. I remember back when LOTRO was just coming out, they did a content release, and the patch did pretty much what is happening here. Turbine, one of the biggest game companies btw, gave us Scented Candles for our characters. If you aren't a coder, and you don't know exactly everything about making an MMO, you really have no idea what you are talking about. Mistakes happen, computer programming isn't perfect. Are you perfect, do you never make mistakes of any kind? Didn't think so. There is a saying, He without sin, cast the first stone.. Give Bioware some time, and if you don't want to, then unsub. This game isn't going away just because of a few hiccups.

They never said it was because of pvp, tho i would agree that it prolly has something to do with it. I don't play a healer, nor have I raided in this game. I did heal a heroic4 on my dps specced sage, and was able to keep everyone alive despite the fact tactics seemed to be somthing that was beyond them. My sage at least was so easy at healing that that I was suprised, I have healed task forces and incarnent trials in coh, and had to hustle. Maybe it needed some adjusting. Maybe in the future, based on my experience from other mmo's they will readjust up a little. Until that time, adapt, learn to utilize what ya have, and you might just surprise yourself.
