I think this video (the first half of it, to be precise) really made a good summary on the problems of the F2P model that Bioware just announced. I mean the core competence of this game is its stories and this is the part the most of the players would want to experience. Therefore, the limits place on F2P players should enable them to get into the story with limited options, not just in customization options, but also in story contents. For examples, some companion or their story missions should require payment to unlock, which is just like what they have done in DA and ME. But with their current set up, what probably would happen is that people will just play through the stories and then leave, without spending much money on the stuffs that needs money to play.
