There are reasons that all intended content doesent all get dropped at launch, including the need for marketable expansion material, and proper study of the game and server behaviors both on the hardware/software side on their end, and the player behaviors on our end. How much more delay fixing bugs, resolving exploitative player behavior, and balancing gameplay would there be if a portion of the player base were occupied with simple closed systems like pazaak and pod racing instead of discovering and reporting them. While I do agree that the developers should first work on the game as it is now, in the prospect of fixing what wasn't completed and/or modifying anything that does not sit well with the community, I would like to add that this petition is only a petition and the developers can do what ever they want when it comes to player suggestions (and in the timeframe that they feel is best). After all, the developers know the in's and outs of the game better than anyone, as they are the ones who made and seek to continually improve upon its attributes. That said, petitions are one of the many ways to gauge player feedback--anything from graphics enhancement, new content, and even bugs. This thread is simply to show the developers that this could be what the community wants integrated in an upcoming expansion or patch, because for all we know, it has not even crossed their minds at this point and time. wargonglok Posted March 18, 2012 Share Posted March 18, 2012 thank you so much I dont think half of the PvP'ers even know the definition of pvp its player versus player right that includes non killing competitions, we need pazaack, swoops, more gambling like on that one race track on ord mantell and a whole lot more PVP is not just killing people, writing books, RPing, racing, emote fights are all pvp, let them be recognised! we should host a speeder race on tatooine, some players guard the track, except for some areas, while others race!
