  1. Honestly, I just use left click to target.. I keep my mouse and camera-turn sensitivity high and my cursor constantly in the health box region of my screen, with the health boxes set to the maximum size. This means with less than a centimeter of movement of my mouse I can switch to any heal target. To turn I briefly I right click (literally for a fraction of a second, because the slightest movement sends me more than 360 degrees around) and then get back to left click healing. Works fine for me on my sawbones, even though the sensitivity took a little while to get used to.
  2. I trailed off for a reason... Hehe. Honestly don't think the cc is that bad, though. I keep my cc breaker off cd most of the time and save it for objectives. When I get stunned I use those 4 seconds to take a deep breath (it helps), look at allied hp bars and positioning (is a defender being killed w/o calling?), and make sure everything is accounted for (is there a ninja on the door?). Although it could be tweaked a little, being stunned does not mean you're useless.
  3. It's not that bad. People just don't know when to use their stun breakers. And don't forget you have your own plethora of cc's to use as well. When in doubt, or being chain cc'd, mashing your own stun is not a bad idea...
  4. I actually went with one of each. Depending on how much alacrity you have you may want to just go with 2 trapper implants. I would recommend keeping your alacrity at such a point that UM casts at around 1.8 seconds, just barely on the edge of 1.9 seconds if you can work that out. On a side note, I think it may be better for you to go straight to EWH implants. You don't need WH implants to get the EWH ones last time I checked. However, they aren't much of an upgrade from the WH ones, so if you want to get more expertise quickly you might as well go with the WH implants for now.
  5. ^agreed. The player kept the shadow targeted, even as he seemed to disappear. Interestingly enough, if you look at the "distance from target" it jumped from about 4m to 150m in a few seconds, then back down. Seems like he fell through the floor to me, even if the timing is highly suspect.
  6. Guess I'll say a word for Prophecy. There are a few guilds on both sides who regularly run RWZ's. The ones I can think of are: Imps: Casual (have been doing non-ranked recently b/c the ranked population has gone down) Firestar Reps: Hoth Ski Patrol Tatooine Inc My guild (theRSFcrew / RSR) run ranked w/ our allied/ friendly guilds, but haven't managed to pull group together for quite awhile. Haven't done many RWZ's recently, so my info may be a little out of date (I'm helping build up a PvP guild (RSR) that's an offshoot of a more PvE oriented guild (theRSFcrew).
  7. Sadly, leveling solely through pvp is much longer than through planetary quests. Doing quests you will level every 45-75 min, finishing up one planet area, whereas you will level every 2+ hrs pvping. Although I haven't tried the legacy pvp exp buff yet, some of my guild mates say it only helps marginally. I recommend you do your pvp daily (which makes the 1-2 games you play worth the exp), then do quests for faster leveling. Plus, you can then benefit from legacy unlocks gained through the class storyline.
  8. Of the 3 original ws's, always found Alderaan to be the most balanced. And Huttball to be the most imbalanced. Know why? Cuz I play Smuggler. Anyone with stealth has a natural advantage in Alderaan (I E me), anyone with jumps/ pulls has a natural advantage in Huttball (I E not me). NC is where BW found a good balance. Personally, a good team will overcome any obstacle in most games. There is no "perfect defense". A simple way to counter yours would be a smuggle 5 player over the fence from east/ west to mid (depending on which you control) and send 1 tank with a pull and healer to hold the rest off. Stuns, knock backs, good healing, etc. can hold that entire force you conveniently placed off mid for easily enough time for 5 people to overwhelm 1-2 people or do a well coordinated stunlock to cap. Only 2 people die, giving not time for the opposition to re spawn and help.
  9. It's pretty annoying... They replaced it with the same sound of the Powertech grapple ability, so now every time I hear it I think I'm about to die in acid or fire.... It also doesn't go off after every EM use below 30% making it MUCH harder to tell if you still have another proc of UH for when the HP of your target is dancing around 30%....
  10. Have you been to Tat yet and gone to the Ragoul areas? Open world pvp heaven. On my server (Helm of Graush) just earlier today there were 50 lvl 50's on pub side, and even more imps, vying over the dailies. They have multiple steps, and both factions were locking out areas to keep the other from completing the dailies. Most fun I have had in open world since 3 months ago on Ilum.
  11. Scoundrel Sawbone healing is going to get buffed Also, wait and see what happens before you pass judgement. We'll see who is at a advantage/disadvantage come the actual release and no sooner.
  12. /signed Looks... strange. Almost like there is a Builder from KOTOR under the helmet...
  13. Ok... want a honest answer from a healer? Because you aren't stunning/ interrupting correctly. I find i die more often in 1 v 1 situations because the person i fight is focusing on me. It seems like when people get into 4 v 1 they forget about that entirely and think that they can just take me down. News flash. You can't. I pop 2 defensive buffs and a medpack at the same time, taking me back up to full, then continue to heal myself. With the self healing bonus i get from one of those defense buffs speced, you don't have a prayer. If you manage to get me below 30% i can EM myself continuously or throw a flash to stun you all then heal myself. Easy counter rotation for casters: interrupt, stun, interrupt, mez, interrupt. If 4 people can not kill a person with no heals in 13.5 you all suck. If your facing a op/ scoundrel healer who is spamming EM/ SP on themselves below 30% hp just stun them once then mez them for a second/ hope someone stuns them also. Not that hard. I have taken down other healers using this as a healer spec.
