Many of those titles had nothing to do with SW, but w/e. What you may not know, is actually how many "Official" Star Wars games have been released over the years. Answer: Almost as many games as there are versions of Tetris lol (not really, but there are a lot.) Unlike tetris (which you know what you're getting) a lot of these game's selling power was the SW name franchise, which was responsible for some badly liscensed garbage. And some of the best games ever. So, what was your favorite game, and why? Me- Tie Fighter. '96 Why- I actually bought a $200? Tie fighter Pilot helmet and wore it while playing. Skullbash Posted February 4, 2012 Share Posted February 4, 2012 (edited) Kotor 2 - I thought Kreia was one of the best video game villains ever and the story had a very unique take on the force that I'd never really seen before. Yeah it was buggy, but I don't care, I tend to be forgiving of bugs in games that shoot for the moon story/character-wise. When I started playing I as like "Oh cool, UT with lightsabers" but then I realized it was so much more. Really had a blast in that game. I played it off and on from it's release in 2003 up to well, actually I reinstalled and played it right after I preordered SWTOR. I used to go by Dacascos in that game. Darqu Posted February 4, 2012 Share Posted February 4, 2012 SWG around pub9 and why, because it was the almost perfect game, great crafting, good pve, exploration, terrain negotiation, dynamic resources, automation, taming, housing, city building, dna sampling, dancing, ranged, melee combat, searching for a way to become jedi, it was all so detailed and deep. player made weapons and armor and the quality depending on the crafter's skill and resource quality, real supply and demand, unique items it was all there then some focus group decided it was too complicated for ted couch potato the brain dead star wars fan who had a hard time telling left from right without using tricks please excuse my sarcasm Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

While George was in the toilet squeezing out his latest SW movies, Bioware and Obsidian we're doing great things with the IP. I only wish Obsidian was given another 6 months to finish off KOTOR 2, it could have been so much better. I also enjoyed Dark Forces and Jedi Outcast.
