Well, sorry for qqing after seeing the AC i love being destroyed because of the qq of bad players that cant play against a burst stealth class.

 

but dont worry, your lovely sorceror wont be touched ever because you are 70% of the game population.

 

A game should not be created so that some can play a competitive class and others cant.

 

Newsflash if you didnt get me, im against nerfing in general. This is not the way to recreate balance to a game. So yea that means im against the op/scoundrel nerf also.

Honestly in general i agree. I love interrupting grav round tracer missile in pvp and then /laugh. Id say about 80% of all bh's/troopers i fight they just stand there not knowing what to do. Thing is a lot of classes only get 1 real interupt which locks out for 4 sec but is on a 10+ sec cooldown

 

Thing is once you start stacking alacrity hardcore it gets annoying. Worst thing though skill required. And in PVE it just isnt fair when you have a viable 1 button dps class when compared to say my jugg who has to use 10+ buttons to be viable. Even my op has to use way more buttons.

Melee have their interrupt on an 8 sec cd and some melee can talent it to be a 6 sec cd. Think about that, if someone has a 6 sec cd, 4 sec interrupt then the trooper won't be able to use grav round much at all and would have to use charged bolts which would mean their top tier talent would be almost useless because it would hit like a wet noodle (25% more dmg with 5 stacks of grav round on a target). Impact bolt would also be very weak because you need to cast 5 grav rounds to make it do max dmg. On top of that, they won't be able to proc the stronger full auto.

 

Sorcs ranged interrupt is a 12 sec cd but can be talented to lock out for 6 seconds.

 

So how are troopers hard to fight? You must be very bad because a trooper with the grav round spec is VERY easy to take down if you use your interrupt. No grav rounds = very weak trooper.

 

Also, you talk about alacrity. Alacrity is the worst stat for a dps commando and virtually noone uses it so that's a moot point.

 

And finally people say a trooper just "spams grav round". Well after 3 grav rounds you're under the 60% mark with ammo and you start to lose ammo regen. If someone "spammed grav round" then they'd be able to cast it 6 times then have almost no ammo and almost no ammo regen.

 

Believe it or not, there's more involved with the commando than just "spamming grav round" if you want to be able to do more than 6 moves then auto attack for 15 seconds waiting for ammo regen to get back up to a decent level.

Tracer Missile is fine, learn to play.

 

I kill mercs all the time (on a Guardian at that, so any other class can do it), 1-2 interupt is all you really need, knockbacks, knockdowns, force push, force leap, anything that moves them around or interups their cast = easy kill

 

Remember that they have to stay stationary in order to use it, meaning you can use all your big nukes on them and they won't even move around 90% of the time.

 

 

This whole Tracer Missile issue is just a big Learn to Play sign.

 

I'd be tempted to say the same about sorcs if they didn't have force speed and their bubbles.

 

Flame on.

 

 

Kinda hard to do from ranged. But I really don't care. If I see a noob standing up above spamming their ONE button. I'll target them the entire match and ensure they won't dps the rest of the match. See how well your missle spam works up close and personal with a Marauder in your ARS.

Get working on your 'nerf assault specialist' post then. We do better than Gunnery, for a miniscule increase in actual work, at less risk to ourselves, while on the move.

 

But you're probably not bright enough to notice that.

 

I played a BH Powertech and hit the high 40s before all the rage against Operatives. Never had an issue even against level 50 operatives because I could use my CC breaker, shield up, and get moving (rocket jump).

 

It became much easier to survive burst attacks once the buff stacking was taken out and the level 50s were put into their own category. I saw a weakness in my initial game play and I adjusted my play style if I was ever knocked down by an operative.

 

I'm against any major nerf, but it doesn't matter how much players explain to people how to play smart, if the majority are idiots and refuse to adjusted, the game is changed for them. It is insane but sadly a reality with Bioware.

I'm all for nerfing Tracer Missile/Grav Round if they do something to compensate for it. PVP is only one aspect of the game, you would be badly hurting mercs and commandos by nerfing this without giving anything else.

 

Hell, I'm also for making this ability less crucial to the spec. You people act like all we want to do is spam one button. It's not our choice, Bioware designed the entire spec around spamming tracer/grav. Nearly everything else the spec does is tied to Heat Signature, and you want to use at least three per target to get the most benefit on your abilities.

 

Personally, I wanted to go pyrotech just to avoid the tracer spam monotony, but arsenal is just better for PVE while still being really good at pvp

Actually i have in fact Vanguard Assualt are usally at the top in the DPS tree cause your stupidly duriable and do **** tons of Dmg BUT you cant heal your selves where as Commando/Merc can and that is the big problem if they dont hit this class with the nerf bat soon i will re roll and spc

and when you intrupt me i will just heal myself or LoS you and wait for ammo to return then i will continue to pummul you with grav roundand since Advanced medical probe will reduce the cost of medical probe to nothing i can heal half my HP at the cost of 3 ammo and do it in 2 GCDs stack crit surge and Aim since thats all i need to do dmg and even you will fall before me in fact ill be surprised if i die at all in WZs

When playing my Sniper it just feels kinda stupid having Mercs just spamming their 1 button for the same/better result than you hiding in cover hoping no one will kick you out of it/make you totally useless...

 

You just feel stupid for having rolled a Sniper, whats the point?

 

 

Yeah, i can interrupt Tracer Missile and the Issue is not in 1on1...

 

Some BG's are just Merc/Sorc bonanza... It's all about them Lightning and them Rockets...

I play a Merc. I hate tracer missile. It leaves you too exposed and to put so much emphasis on a single ability really backs that spec into a corner.

Well, Mr. Awesome Jedi Guardian Man, your class (as well as Sentinels) are very well equipped to deal with us. Force push, interrupt (retarded short cooldown), lightside choke... I'm sure the list goes on.

 

If someone needs casting interrupted, you guys are the best at it. Thus, Mercs should fall under your lightsaber all the time. Everything we do, you guys have a followup counter for it.

 

On the other hand, my diet consists of Commandos for breakfast, side of Vanguard. I burn Smugglers and fillet Operatives. Sorcs for lunch, just roast right past their shields. I'm also quite proud of my honeybaked Assassin plate with a dash of Shadow.

 

Guardians? Sentinels?

to be fair, he is hardly being attacked....has guard even , + some healer around always....thats like the perfect setup in order to show the video as its......

 

oh and warzone buff ....

 

count how many time is interrupted (LoSed) or even attacked....
