sjmc Posted January 25, 2012 Share Posted January 25, 2012 (edited) Smugglers have a lot of abilities. Most of the damage abilities are positional or range-limited or require stealth/cover. We have a variety of avoidance and defensive abilities and can make good healers as well (if specialized in healing). Smugglers also have an advantage over the other listed classes in that, since they are Republic, they get to play all three warzones with short/no queues (I've never queued longer than 4 minutes even in offpeak) and a target-rich environment in open-world PVP (stealth makes it easy to get to the Empire questing areas). Use Crushing Darkness 5. Use Affliction 6. Use Deathfield 7. Spam Forcelightning 8. Pick up soda from floor, sip if there's still any 9. Use chain lightning 10. Rinse and repeat 11. Clean up the mess on the floor 12. lJustAlexl Posted January 26, 2012 Share Posted January 26, 2012 Having started with a tank BH and moved to a dps marauder after hitting 50, I think it's GOT TO be the marauder. Complex, but incredibly entertaining once you get your rotations and quickslots down (and a 16 button mouse doesn't hurt). Will second another post made earlier: played correctly, they absolutely melt faces. Very rewarding class for the time and effort invested. swooshien Posted January 26, 2012 Share Posted January 26, 2012 i guess most classes can use 20-30 ablities not counting relics/stims/heals etc. of course every class can be played in a spam 1 or 2 buttons fashion, some classes succeed more than others in that, but in highend pvp you are not competetive with any class if you only use a few abilities.
