Muzakjr
1 star, to debunk the rating. I do not believe they should roll back servers because a select few may have, again MAY have farmed a lot of valor(again you would have had to be there ALL day, which you'd get the same amount if not more with WZs), when everything was working as intended, this was on test servers prior to going LIVE. BW should take action to those who did abuse the system, too many of you believe trolls and think you earn ridiculous mounts of Valor, when in fact it's not true. What do you think would happen to the people who did WZs all day, or even parts of the day because they had work irl or was busy and only able to play for a few hours? Screw them over too? No. BW should take action on those who abused the system, not systematically screw EVERYONE. Take a note from what Blizzard did in WoW, fix the issue, reset those who abused the system, and move on. This wont be the first or LAST mistake any MMO company has made, including Blizzard. On a side note, you'd think with having DAoC devs, which had THE best open world PvP(RvR:D) they'd get it right with illum:eek:!

RG_jhanlec
yes, because if it isn't and we lose even 10% of republic player base it will officially sink the game due to population issues.

Gunzwei
I play imp and farmed on both my characters for a good bit today. Yep rollback was necessary and servers should have been brought down within an hour of the patch going in.
Mackuss
Nope for roll back. Reroll nerds or learn to pvp says the Imperial behind his friends.
sprasz
well im one of them ... of course im 40 years old own my own company now and ws in marines for a long while so i guess im kinda principled ... and will take stands I LOVE THE GAME and had planed on taking a couple years to play through each story line of all classes but NOW if they do not have the INTEGRITY to do a rollback and admit they F%^*ed up then im done supporting such people Dident think Marines where Quitters. But i guess you by owning your own company would know better. And ofcause there should be no rollback. They should fix the issue as fast as they can, and they are. This is small stuff. archzai
Terrible idea, especially for people who have been leveling up characters and are unrelated to this Illum mess. I JUST got my first Columi piece too have 2 weeks of trying. Roll back would totally mess that up.

Cinnaminson
can someone explain what went so badly please? Thank you. The patch made it so getting valor on Ilum was easier (maybe, not actually sure about this). But more importantly it made PvPing more important on Ilum via dailies and weeklies. So both Sith and Republic on PvP. Seems great. Except Sith outnumber Republic and was able to beat Republic and camp the spawn point. This led to Sith getting an insane amount of valor in a relatively short amount of time. On servers where Republic was able to hold, they were also able to farm valor quite quickly as well, though not to the same level Sith was able to. Kirin
Definitely a rollback on the people that gained massive valor today due to flawed game mechanics. If it has to be a rollback for everyone, I think it's worth it to save end-game PvP.

Maxxacre
Rollback or ban the players who exploited to gain valor at the obviously ridiculous rate that wasn't intended. Leave the valor alone on the players who simply farmed PvP. It's not exploiting to get into a big group and just PvP your face off... it IS exploiting to find a way to get max valor in a matter of several minutes or less. The two categories are really very different and should be treated as such.
Aceho
How about bioware just ADMITS they screwed up? That would be a good first step. Then a public apology. I'm not sure a rollback will help... unless we rollback to pre-launch and have more players roll Republic.

So....why are people saying something was being exploited? It seems Empire was just playing the game. Why isn't anyone complaining about the inherently bad design?
