  1. This is one of the most ridiculous arguments ever. You already need to do hours worth of tedious datacron gathering to stay "competetive"(optimal stats ARE important). So the implementation of another option to get these stat boosts and be competitive would harm you...how? I don't understand your line of reasoning, unless you think that you'll be forced to buy the perk because your guild will call you broke if they catch you manually gathering datacrons? Are you just upset because you've grinded out the datacrons on all your alts and feel that everyone should have to do it this way? I can't find any meat in any of your statements. Everyone that says this is a bad idea just posts their (biased) opinions on the matter, insults people(I'm looking at Majik the troll), or says it's a terrible idea and moves on. No one is providing LOGIC on why this shouldn't happen. And bytheway, EAware is apparently working on making this happen. Which is what should happen when 9/10 players want something and the other 1/10 come up with poor excuses for reasons why they shouldn't get it.
  2. No one arguing against this will bother with the fact that this doesn't affect them in the slightest. They will just come up with more asinine apples-to-oranges comparisons to support their "views". I have NEVER seen a LOGICAL argument against legacy datacrons, and I sincerely doubt I ever will. If anyone can enlighten me by providing solid(not your biased opinions) reasons why this would be a game-breaking perk(Don't try too hard, I really don't expect it), then I will be happy to switch my stance on the issue. 9/10 people want this feature. Those who don't want it don't have to use it. I fail to see the problem.
  3. /signed This has been brought up constantly since the legacy system came out, and the majority of players(those of us with alts) want this feature, because we're tired of spending our game time grinding out the same tedious datacrons just to have optimal characters. It can be an optional legacy perk so that all the nay-sayers will be able to farm datacrons on all of their characters...and enjoy it? But seriously, the only people who say 'no' to this feature are people who consider themselves special because they've farmed the crons on all of their alts. Give it up; this is old content and unless EAware can find a way to magically make it entertaining again, the majority of us don't feel that it should have to be repeated for every new character.
  4. Body tattoo? Sure, give us as many as the artists feel like designing. Just leave Talon out of it. She won't be existing for the next three and a half millenia.
  5. It's only something we've been asking for since Beta. I'm shocked that the dye system came out before what seems like a simple feature. I guess hood toggles are extremely complicated, like they hinted around launch time. Hopefully, after being in the works for so long, it will be mostly bug free.
  6. Is this confirmed? I know they gave us an "eventually" some time around a year ago, but I jut got back from a long break and I haven't seen anything official saying that it will be here soon.
  7. I totally support this. I have the mask and the gloves, but it is nigh-impossible to find that sash on Jung Ma. Nobody wants to waste CC opening Space Pirate packs as they don't drop rep items and everything in them is rather lack luster. Worst part is, I have no desire to wear the sash, pretty much ever. It wasn't even a part of Revan's KotOR attire and it looks quite silly IMO. So either make the mask a separate piece in the collection, or put the gloves/sash in a pack that people will actually open(one with rep items).
  8. Yes, please! I would prefer these in schematic form so Synthweaving will have something besides augments to sell. But whatever you do, definitely make sure the belts/bracers are included! Battlemaster Vindicator's is my favorite belt of all time and I was so disappointed when it was made obsolete because it can't be modded.
  9. Everything I want is hidden in gambling packs that require potentially hundreds of hard earned dollars to receive the ONE virtual item that I'm actually interested in.
  10. Props to Eric Musco for the apology and updated stance on the "Subscribers vs. The Cartel Market" issue. Even though it's his job, it has to be annoying to play the apologist for the errors of others. Normally, I'd say "Give this man a raise/bonus!", but that would have to be balanced out by adding more cool stuff to random packs.
  11. I'd like an answer to this as well, as should any subscriber who is concerned about this game's future. Because as it stands, the best(the opinion of the majority) cosmetic "features" are behind gates that require actual cash to unlock. Even things that can be bought on the GTN require some one to purchase(most likely from a random pack). As it stands, Revan's sash might as well not exist. I certainly don't feel like gambling for it, and if anyone else on Jung Ma does, they apparently aren't selling it. I think I saw it once on the GTN for 20mil, but I didn't take a screenshot so I might have just hallucinated. This makes it very very very very unlikely that anyone will be able to complete the Revan set without blowing a significant amount of real money, and this is just one example of "cash-locked" content.
  12. All very true, and compounded by the fact that there are less of our dollars going into actual content development. Seriously, I'll give up my stipend if we can get some competent devs actually working on the game and not the Cartel Market.
  13. IMO, Pay-to-Win only exists when you HAVE to drop real money to obtain the best quality of gear. If SWTOR ever comes to that, I'm out.
  14. That's not Pay-to-Win, especially since you can't buy BiS mods yet, save for augments. What you're describing is someone who has excess cash and wants to take a shortcut by basically purchasing in game money, which is something that has always occured in MMOs. If people like this couldn't buy CM items to sell on the GTN, they'd buy them from RMT farmers(which is actually cheaper, but not healthy for the game). At least this way, the money goes to EAware and it theoretically used for game development.
  15. /signed Especially for the Revan set. The mask is rare enough, but the gloves and sash are like Bigfoot... No one opens Space Pirate cartel packs anymore because they don't drop rep items and the pieces in them are garbage. So either stick Revan's gloves/sash in a new pack or make Collections work on a per item basis.
