I dont get it. Battlemaster gear is currently the best pvp gear in game. Ofcourse those players having it should have an advantage over freshly dinged and inferior geared players. And just for the record Bioware did state that after 1.2 the expertise gap would get bigger so that you would feel a bigger difference doing pvp with pve gear and vice versa. Also that War Hero gear would be about looks mostly and not so much of a upgrade gear wise. Which is exactly what some people are asking for here. But ofcourse people complained about that too. I seriously dont get some people you cant ever get satisfied. I swear if Bioware introduced a 'Green button of insta 50, full BM, full Rakata gear a.k.a "I win button" ' People would ***** about it being green and not blue or something as idiotic ...

Yes indeed. Well said, can be used when you are soloing and when you use your 20 min companion CD. Bioware calls that a 'Heroic Moment' where you can draw on powers you previously couldnt, for example a BH with Lightning. Since the legacy system is also a family tree, if your mother was a sorceress for example, you awake that dormant power of yours and use force lightning, yet again during your 'Heroic Moment' which is on a rather long CD, when you are soloing and noone is forcing you to use the ability. I think its a really cool idea that adds flavour to your solo content, and other parts of the legacy that just as Daniel Erickson stated you can tailior your leveling experience. I am really looking forward to it. But to be clear. Solo content, heroic moment, long CD. ANd for the love of god use your free will and don't use it if you dont want to.

We'll drop all the 'breaks community' as we've established that is something people value quite differently etc. The trouble with a LFD tool for me is that it actually doesnt solve anything. Really it doesnt. People want to say 'Atleast I can do other stuff while in que instead of being on the fleet' but we all know you'll end up being in que on the fleet anyways. But anyways its not a super solution to fix it all. As I understand it people 'casual' people, people with 'real lives' etc want a tool because they dont want to spend time looking for a group in the fleet in the general channels. Because they dont have much time to play. As some guy some posts before this wrote he only has a hour, hour and a half tops to play after some school or whatnot. And the doesnt want to spend 40min + looking for a group. Alright I get that. I'm asuming this is from a dps point of view yea? Even so lets nail it down. Without a system. "Spam" channels. Dps - 30-40min or so for a group right? Tank - 5 min or so? We all love the tanks right Healer - 5-10 min about right? We cant after all go without a healer. With a LFD system. Dps - 30-40 min or so right? Because now whats happened is the game is spamming 'DPS LFG FP HM Whichever' for us in a channel we cant see. Tank - 5 min or so probably less even. Healer - Same as tank maybe 5min + since usually there's more healers then tanks. What did it solve? Nothing. But oh wait! Make it Cross Realm! Thats solves it right?? Because then we have a bigger pool of players which means more healers and tanks! With a LFD Cross Realm system. Dps - 30-40 min Tank - 5 min Healer - 5 min. Yey ! Cross realm LFD system finally ... Wait a minute? Still sucky que's hows that possible? We made a group of 4 ( 4!!! ) realms that MUST mean there are more tanks and healers ... Oh wait ofcourse there's more dps as well .... If you dont believe me? Go search the Wow and Rift forums. Exactly what happened. First same server LFD tool. Then cross servers. And there's still whine about que times. So yea that's why I dont like it. I am not gonna mention the community things yet again but I find it breaks stuff without fixing the things it's supposed to fix ...

Really? LFD solves que's and saves you time? And my schedule is harsh enough thank you since I dont play nearly as much as most mmo's do. So go pay for something else that suits your needs better or accept this game for what it is. It's quite simple. A company releases a game. That is different from another popular game. If they dont want to as you say. Then you look for a group elsewhere. Through channels and not the LFD. Just saying the LFD brings more harm then good. Let me also put it this way. You have friends outside the guild you do stuff with them. And you have random people to fill out the slots, and you do stuff with them. I've leveled both a healer char and tanking character just fine when soloing. That is what you use your companions for. I dont really get this. That's why they are there. I dont think we should have duel specs not yet atleast and give their version of this a chance before nuking it down. I myself prefer it this way. My assassin takes little damage when soling and deals a solid amount still. And my dps companions do more then enough to compensate. I am playing a tank after all so ofc my damage output over a certain time frame is gonna be less. But yet again I take less as well. About the dungeon finder, I wouldnt like it implemented. It was in wow ofc but that was years after release to help people that rolled new chars get into groups and experience the dungeons they put time and effort in. At endgame it was tragic with the ques etc. People saying dungeon finder will solve 'Spending too much time spamming channels' seems to forget the 50+ min que's for dps usually. And for those that say 'We dont want it cross over servers' seems to forget that is the next thing you are gonna ask to have implemented that will 'solve the long que' which ofc it wont and we are back at square one again. But now with a tool like that for casual players wont have the same need to make friends, join guilds etc. Which is imo a bad thing because those things are kind of important to a MMO atleast for me. Example for dungeon finder : You log on. One mate is online. Both dps. You ask if you wanna do the daily together? He says no because he doesnt want to lose his spot in the que for he logged on 10 min before you and que'd. SO you have friends, you just dont play with them. Back to sluggish pugs etc. So no thanks mate.

Perhaps because some people enjoy the game more when it resembles EQ1 more then Wow? What does these features have to do with having fun while playing it?
