As a big time developer with lots and lots of staff, I find it surprising how little communication we have. Other than "we are looking into this", we have no clue about many things that are in the pipeline or bug fixes.
I believe communication to be an important role in keeping in touch with the community. Not everyone reads these forums but people like to stay updated and they might want to check trackers, etc.
Why is the community left in the dark? We are paying customers.
